Hope chuckled lightly. "You had a crush on me?" She asked, smiling a little bit more.

Josie looked over at Hope. "Of course I did." She responded. "Who wouldn't?" Josie questioned, quickly glancing at you. Hope just smiled at Josie while Josie smiled back.

Hope was about to leave but you decided to speak up. "Why do you hate me, Lizzie?" You asked, looking up. Everyone in the room stared at you.

Lizzie looked back and forth between your eyes. "I don't know.." She trailed off. "I guess I was just assuming since you're dating Hope, you'd be mean to me like her but now that we've just cleared it was all a mistake, I take it back." Lizzie replied.

You smiled at Lizzie and she smiled at you. "Well, please don't ever assume again." You said before looking over at Hope and leaving the twins' room to your own.

You groaned as you fell to the floor in pain, feeling the broken trees, branches and leaves beneath you. "Hope, it hurts!" You cried, Hope put a hand on your shoulder, cupping your face.

You shut your eyes in pain, sweat running down your face. "Hey." Hope said. "Hey! Look at me." You opened your eyes, starring into hers. "The more you don't want to turn the longer it takes and the more pain you feel." Hope explained. "You have to give in." Hope whispered, looking back and forth through your eyes.

Your eyes flashed a yellow colour. "Okay.." You replied. You held back a scream as you arm broke. After a while of resisting, you finally gave in. You looked into Hopes eyes as she stared at you. It's like you had control over what you wanted to do or not, maybe because of you being a Tribrid or werewitch?

Hope then started walking off. "Come on, I know you wanna check on Landon and Rafael." Hope said and you both walked into the school. Everyone was asleep so no vampires were out which was good for you.

You both walked into the transitional cellar. As you turned the corner Alaric stared down at you a bit scared before seeing Hope and realised it was you. "Have you seen Landon? We thought he might be down here with Raf for moral support." Hope questioned and stated.

Alaric sighed, looking at both of you. "Raf's not here." Alaric said and as soon as he said that your ears perked up.

Hope looked confused. "Wait, he's what?" Hope asked.

Alaric looked at Hope. "The supervisors said he didn't check in." Alaric continued. :And now MG's missing, too."

You looked at the other wolves. "But it's a full moon." Hope stated, obviously. The wolves growled at you while you growled back. There was a howl in the distance that caught all your attention. "Oh god." Hope said.

You three were now walking through the woods looking for MG, Rafael and Landon, you were worried about all three but mainly Rafael and Landon. "I don't know why my locator spell didn't work." Hope said, she was worried about them like you were.

Alaric put the flashlight everywhere to see fi they were close or near you guys. "If you can't find them, it means someone's cloaking them or-" Alaric didn't get to finish his sentence.

"Or their dead. I'm aware." Hope responded, your ears kind of dropped when you heard that, too bad you couldn't speak your opinion.

Alaric started to whine. "What would possess them to leave campus? Why would they be so irresponsible?" Alaric asked.

Hope glanced around. "They wouldn't. Something must have happened." You and Hope were looking in the opposite direction of Alaric, thats when the scent of blood hit your nose.

Alaric grabbed a hold of Hope, abruptly coming to a stop. "Hope." He said, shining the flashlight on Rafael's week body.

Your eyes filled with worry as you moved towards him and started pushing your head against him, god you wish you were human so you could wake up him. "Raf? Raf!" Hope yelled. "Hey, are you okay?" She asked Rafael who seemed out of it.

He groaned. "MG... Landon..." Rafael said.

Hope looked at you with a worried look before looking back to Rafael, you trying to speak was basically heard as whines. "Hey, what's going on? Where's Landon?" Hope asked.

Rafael looked at Hope. "I can't remember." His breathe trembled while Hope looked at Alaric.

You all now were inside, watching over Rafael. When Emma entered and saw you she was a bit startled. "Relax. It's just Kate." Hope stated.

Emma was shocked. "She activated her curse?" She asked while Hope just nodded.

The full moon was still happening and you couldn't transform back and help Rafael. "Lunar psychosis?" Alaric questioned.

Hope looked at Alaric then to Rafael. "That's a thing?" She questioned

Rafael breathed out. "Quit talking. Making noise." Rafael groaned, he then got up aggressively, obviously wanting to attack.

You all jumped backwards besides Emma who put her hand on his heart. "Tardus Pulsatio." Emma casted. Rafael seemed to have calmed down. "It's a thing." Emma supported Alarics suggestion.

Hope stared at Emma before looking at Rafael. "What did you do to him?" She asked, worried.

Emma stayed focus on Rafael. "It's okay. I'm just slowing down his heart." Emma stated. "It will calm him."

You all stared at Rafael. You could hear his heartbeat and it was slowing down, you moved next to Hope but she just stayed focus on Rafael. Rafael looked around. "What's happening to me?" He asked. "I keep... losing time." Rafael looked at all of you.

"As I said... lunar psychosis, which means that your mind is in flux, trapped between... your wolf and human states, making it harder to bridge the gap and access your memories like you normally would." Emma lead Rafael to sit back down on the chair and bent down so that she was about eye level with him. "It's very rare. It only happens after a premature reversion." You moved away from Hope and towards Rafael, resting your head on his lap.

Hope watched you walk away but then looked to Emma. "So, something caused your body to shift back before the full moon was over, leaving you like this." Hope explained to Rafael.

Rafael stuttered. "Wh-What kind of something?" He questioned, looking down to see you, he quickly caught on that it was you due to the fact you told him that you going to transition the next full moon.

Hope shook her head. "Usually trauma." Hope suggested, you looked up at Hope and saw that Alaric also looked over at her. "Something bad happened." She stated afterwards.

Emma looked backwards towards Hope. "We don't know that." Emma tried being optimistic.

You got up and moved towards Hope. She was really only sad because she could see you were upset about Landon, Rafael and MG. "Three of them left, and only one came back?" Hope questioned. "Something bad happened."

Emma sighed, getting up and turning around to look at Hope. "Hope, why don't you give us a minute?" She looked at Alaric. "Go on and check on the other wolves." She recommended.

"I'm worried about this one." Hope replied.

Emma looked back and forth between Hopes eyes. "Hope... please." Emma said.

Hope looked back and forth between the two adults before scoffing. "What about Kate?" She asked, calmer.

Emma sighed. "She's the closest thing to Rafaels humanity, even as a wolf." Emma explained, Hope nodded before turning around and walking out.

"What's the danger of him turning wolf again?" Alaric asked as soon as Hope left the room. "I mean, this whole wing is filled with sleeping vampires." Alaric explained his worry with Rafael being here in this state.

Emma put her hand on Rafael's leg. "Don't worry, I'll keep him sealed in." She looked back at Rafael. "What his mind needs now is to be surrounded by all the things that are familiar to him, that connect him to his humanity, not his lycanthropy." Emma placed her hand on his heart again. "Corum Spiritus." Emma chanted.

Alaric walked forward and bent down. "Rafael, we'll do everything we can to help you, but you need to tell us exactly what happened. You were supposed to be here on campus for spring break with Landon and MG, and now we can't find either one of them." Alaric locked eyes with Raf while Raf looked back and forth between Alaric.

Rafael breathed out. "Everyone was leaving. Heading home for spring break." Rafael started to explain.

You were sat in the assembly hall. The night of the full moon was close and you were soon leaving for this little trip which was tomorrow, you think, you weren't quite sure. "All right, everyone, listen up." Alaric started walking down the line in the middle of the assembly hall. "Absolutely no one leaves campus unless you're in the custody of your guardian." He turned around once he was behind the podium. Hope was leaning her head on your shoulder as you were looking down, she then lifted her head up to look at Ric.

"Now, with the full moon approaching, this rule especially applies, to our wolves. Now, you know the drill. Vampires to your dorms. Wolves to your bunkers. Absolutely no exceptions. Just because we have a cure for werewolf bites doesn't mean they won't hurt like hell." You looked at Hope before back to Alaric. "Now, for those of you who are staying behind," MG walked up to the stage and placed a note. "we have some activities planned to ensure that your... vacation will be the..." He then put on a funny voice. "dopest, coldest... spring break ever!" There was laughter around the room. "All right, here's MG, everybody." Alaric moved away and MG took his spot while you and Hope just smiled at each other.

MG looked around the assembly hall. "Are your mom and dad... dead?" MG started, that was a bit blunt but you and Hope weren't paying attention. "No place for you in human society?" You and Hope smiled at each other as you both leaned into a kiss. "Does being alone leave you triggered? If your answer to any of these questions is yes, it's okay. The Holiday Committee has your back." MG continued.

You and Hope stared into each other's eyes, you both interlaced your hands. "This is nice, in a way." You whispered to Hope.

Hope softly giggled. "How?" She asked, looking you up and down.

You shrugged. "You... me... this..." You looked down at your hands then looking back to her face, looking at her lips.

She pecked your lips before sighing. "Only if we weren't going on this trip, we'd have a better time here, enjoying spring break." Hope whispered to you. You smiled at her comment.

"Well, it's not like we have a choice in going." You whispered back, looking up at MG and resting your head on Hopes shoulder. "At least we can watch movies or do something when we get back." You continued.

Hope nodded. "I'm happy with how this is right now. There is no place else I wouldn't want to be." Hope responded, you smiling but then she looked back out to MG as he continued talking. Hopefully this will be done soon.

You were hoping sunrise would be here soon after you heard Rafaels side of the story, you were thinking about your time with Hope during the assembly. "No. Please tell me you didn't take MG home." Alaric pleaded.

Rafael looked up at Dr.Saltzman. "We didn't think it was that big of a deal, Dr.Saltzman." Rafael responded while Alaric exhaled heavily. "They're just right over the state line in Maryland. We were supposed to make it back before the full moon-" Rafael explained.

"Yeah, well, you didn't." Alaric cut in. "And, now we're here." Alaric continued.

Emma got up and turned to Alaric. "Ric." Was all she said after a moment of silence, she continued. "Discipline can come after everyone is healthy and safe."

Alaric sighed. "Rafael, I am sorry. I am not mad at you. I'm mad at myself." Alaric said as Hope entered.

Hope walked in first. "For what?" She asked.

Alaric turned around and walked towards Hope. "I got to go. I've got a big mess I need to clean up. Hope, Kate, stay with Emma. Keep me posted on what you learn, okay?" Hope moved out of the way to let Alaric leave. "I'll have the school phone on me." He then left and shut the door.

You looked over at Hope and Emma. "What's with the needles?" Hope walked forward and asked Emma as she laid out something on the bed.

Emma glanced at Hope. "Sedatives." She replied.

"Sleep isn't really a priority." Hope immediately responded.

Emma looked at Hope. "But safety is." She replied, calmly. They both walked over to you and Rafael, you moved out of the way so Emma could do her thing. "Rafael told me why you couldn't track them. Penelope Park aided them in a cloaking spell before she left for break." Emma continued.

Rafael decided to speak up. "Said it was gift for... dumping Lizzie on her birthday." Rafael explained, looking up at Hope.
