RECAP

"Then I'm gonna have sex with him." Josie explained.

Lizzie looked away from Josie's eye sight. "Yeah. That was it." You shut you locker and grabbed Lizzie's left shoulder.

"You promised you wouldn't let me down. Actually do it for a change." Josie then walked off, causing Lizzie to look at you and you just shrugged.

You then walked backwards and started going to your next class. Chemistry. Luckily most of your friends were in that class so it was fun.

————

School was now finished the homecoming dance was starting. You were wearing a purple dress and a warm jacket on top. "I can't let you go through with this." Lizzie said to Josie.

"You need to stop. Dana and Connor denied it and I believe them." Josie didn't bother to turn around to look at Lizzie.

"Why would you believe them over me?" Lizzie asked.

You all kept walking. " 'Cause you always do this." She started, causing Lizzie to look at her in confusion. "Any time things are going well for me, you have an episode, and you ruin everything just to steal the spotlight." Josie explained. "I mean, honestly, Lizzie, if I believed every paranoid delusion that came out of your mouth, I'd be just as crazy as you." You love Josie as your cousin but that was an un-needed response.

You and Lizzie ran in front to Josie. "Josie, you can't say that. It's rude." You defended Lizzie, she sent you a grateful look but you didn't see it.

Josie sighed, looking away from you and to Lizzie. "Look, I'm sorry. I don't want to hurt your feelings, but I have spent my entire life trying to make you feel okay about yourself. Watched Dad kill himself trying to do it, too." She paused, looking Lizzie up and down.

"And why do you think that he drinks all the time? He hates his job. The only reason why he works here is to keep an eye on you. Mom makes any excuse that she can to be out of town, because seeing him like this makes her sad, 'cause he's completely given up. So I am done making excuses for you. I am done worrying about when you are going to snap. And I am done letting you control my happiness." Josie explained, raising her voice a little.

She sighed to calm herself down. "I love Connor, and tonight I'm going to show him just how much. Now, give me the watch." Josie ordered her sister.

Lizzie pulled the watch out. "I'm sorry." She then clutched her hand and siphoned the magic out of it. Josie glared at Lizzie. "It's for your own good." Lizzie continued.

"I hate you." Josie death glared Lizzie.

Josie walked past Lizzie and you both turned around to stare at Josie. "Josie... no... wait... please just... wait." Lizzie said, you saw your friends and started walking over to them. "Stop!" Lizzie screamed and the lights crashed and shattered, causing everyone to hunch down to the ground in a way to protect themselves.

You and Josie looked at Lizzie. Then everyone started getting their phones out to record Lizzie and whisper things to each other about her. "What the hell?!" Uncle Ric walked out of the class room, just then he saw cameras and everyone staring at Lizzie. "We got to go. We got to go now. Now. Come on." Alaric ran up to you and Josie, grabbing your arms gently and you all started running away. "Nothing to see. Put your phones away." Alaric said.

Just then a car rolled up and you all stopped running. You stared at the car, seeing a beautiful women get out of the car. She had a few others with her. "Looks like you guys could use some help." The girl in front said.

"Uh-uh. No, we are all good." Lizzie said, she looked shocked, as if she knew the girl.

Alaric took a closer look at the car. "That 'M'. Mikaelson. Like the boarding school?" Alaric asked.

"Kaleb, compel the students to forget what they've seen." The girl ordered, seemed she was the boss.

The guy on the left, known as Kaleb, nodded. "On it."

"Jed, establish a perimeter. Lock the place down." She continued ordering.

The guy on the right started to walk forward. "Copy."

"Pedro." She looked away from us and down to a little kid. "Call in the chopper." She looked back up at us and the little kid put his hand up to his ear and started walking forward.

"Green light, Maverick." He said.

Lizzie stumbled on her words. "Uh, I-I said that we're good. Okay? Josie, Kate and I do not want to be superheroes." Lizzie complained, coming over to hug Josie and you.

You and Josie looked at Lizzie but Josie pushed Lizzie away. "Yeah. Speak for yourself." Josie argued.

"We're not here for you." She looked at you three. "We're here for him." She then looked at Alaric.

You all looked at Alaric before looking back at the girl. You looked her up and down before you, Josie and Alaric started walking off with her. Lizzie scoffed. "Son of a bitch." She heard while following us.

You had arrived at the Mikaelson Boarding School not long after leaving Mystic Falls High School. Your arm is around the girl's amr which her name is Hope. "Make yourselves at home." Hope commented as you walked into a living room.

Alaric looked around, amazed. "This place, it's like a... dram come true." Alaric breathed out.

You and Hope moved each other's arms from being locked and you all came to a stop. "Perhaps you've heard my father has had a checkered past. But when he had me, things changed. There wasn't a school he could send someone like me to, so he built this one. And as you can see, it's been quite the success." Alaric nodded in agreement. "So much so that he's currently overseas establishing our European branch, which is why we're in need of a new headmaster." Hope explained.

"I think I'm gonna be sick." Lizzie bluntly said.

Hope looked away from Alaric and to Lizzie. "Sorry if the chopper ride was too bumpy. Bathrooms down the hall." Hope tilted her head a little bit in the direction of the bathrooms.

Lizzie started walking off. "I know where it is." She replied. Lizzie looked annoyed with the girl. but how did she know where the bathroom was without ever going to this school?

The thought left your mind as you felt eyes on you. You looked away from the fire to see Hope looking you up and down. Your cheeks flushed a light red as you stared back.

You and Hope moved to sit on the couch. "So, what supernatural creature are you?" Hope asked as you both stared at each other.

You sighed softly. "I was never allowed to say because Uncle Ric thought I'd be dangerous if people knew I was a hybrid of three supernatural creatures." You explained.

Hope gasped softly. "You're a Tribrid?" She asked, smiling. You nodded. "So am I." She responded, causing you both to laugh as you both thought you were only ones of your kind.

"Well, if your a Tribrid, who's your parents?" Hope asked, placing a hand on your thigh, which you didn't mind but it made your heart beat faster.

You looked between both of her eyes. "My dad was a founding family, The Lockwoods and he was a Hybrid, I'm guessing from your father?" You asked and she nodded. "While my mom was a Parker witch, apart of the Gemini coven Josie and Lizzie are apart of." You explained.

You both continued talking, enjoying each others company and getting to know each other.

————

You were sat in the main room of The Salvatore House next to everyone as silent tears dropped for Josie. "Welcome to Resistance. I wish I could say it was under better circumstances." You heard Penelope say. "You've got a lot of nerve showing up here." You hearted Penelope talk again.

You all turned around to see Lizzie. "Penelope, what's going on?" Lizzie asked, concerned. Your breathed hitched as you saw her.

"At least you earned this mental breakdown." Penelope fired at Lizzie. "Leave, before I feed you to the vamps." She threatened.

"Please, just tell me what's happening." Lizzie pleaded.

"Out!" Penelope yelled, ordering Lizzie.

Lizzie stared at her, her eyes slowly drifting to the coffin. "Who died?" She questioned. Penelope scoffed but just then Alaric appeared. "Dad." Lizzie said. "What's going on?" Alaric walked down the stairs. "Why is this world like this?" Lizzie questioned.

Alaric sighed as he brought Lizzie into a hug, then got out of the hug. "Sweetie..."

"What?" Lizzie questioned.

Alaric said before moving out of the room. "...you can't be here." You followed them. "You ran away." They walked into a room.

You came into the room. "We've been worried sick looking for you." You said as you gave Lizzie a hug.

"Why would I run?" Lizzie asked hugging you back, but shortly after you moved away.

You and Alaric shared a worried glance. "You don't remember what happened?" You inquired.

Lizzie obliviously didn't understand. "Must be some sort of amnesia triggered by the trauma." Alaric continued.

"What trauma?" Lizzie asked.

Alaric looked between Lizzie's eyes. "It doesn't matter now. All that matters is that you're home." Alaric paused. "Not that we can stay much longer." He looked at you. "Triad's closing in every day." Alaric explained, we all looked at a map that showed Triad closing in on us.

Lizzie picked up a piece of paper, looking confused. "The world knows about vampires?" She asked.

Alaric sighed. "You've forgotten more than I thought." Alaric responded.

You cut in. "Klaus Mikaelson lost everything that anchored him to his humanity, and so he shut it off two years ago and started a war." You started. "Outed supernaturals in the process. And just like that, Triad had an ugly, racist platform to stand on, and nothing's been safe ever since." You explained.

Lizzie looked around before turning back to us. "Where's Josie?" She questioned. Looking between you and Alaric. You both looked down. "Dad. Kate." She said in a serious tone. Neither of you made a move to look at her. "Where is she?" Lizzie questioned.

Alaric looked up at his daughter. "She's dead, Elizabeth." Alaric stated. Lizzie's eyes geared up. "The vigil's for her." Alaric explained. Lizzie leaned on the table, tears rolling down her cheeks.

"No." She whispered, shuddering. "No, no. She-she can't... she can't be." Lizzie looked up at her father.

"I know.." Alaric replied.

Lizzie breathed in. "That's not what I wanted."

Alaric put a hand on her shoulder. "I know. But, right now, you just... need to get some sleep." Alaric said.

"No." She exhaled. "No, no. I-I can... I can fix this. I-I can make this whole miserable world go away. Josie's not really gone. I promise, okay? I'll fix it." She cried, it broke your heart to see her that way. "Genie?! Genie?! Genie!" Lizzie yelled.

You grabbed Lizzie and hugged her. "Elizabeth, please, please..." You pleaded.

"This was my last wish." She exhaled as she avoided eye contact. "I can't take it back." She cried. "Oh. I've ruined everything. Oh no. It's all my fault." Lizzie cried. You looked at Alaric, nodding.

"Penelope." Alaric called.

Lizzie put her head in the crook of your neck. "It's all my fault!" Lizzie yelled.

"Penelope!" Alaric called louder. Lizzie sobbed in your arms, looking at Penelope until Penelope blew a sleeping herb onto Lizzie's face that caused her to fall asleep in our arms.

You now stood in a room where they are making magic bombs, among other things. "Dad?" You heard the familiar voice of Lizzie say. You turned around to see Alaric and Lizzie talking.

Then a few witches came up to you. "Kate, we need your help with doing a spell. You have a lot more magic than us so, can you help?" The witch asked. You looked at her.

"In a few. I need to talk to Ric. Is that okay?" You responded and the witch nodded, leaving you be as you walked up to Lizzie and Alaric as they started walking your way.

Lizzie looked at her dad in shock. "Triad got wind of our location." He started. ""With Josie gone, we decided to take a stand and put an end to this once and for all." Alaric stated.

You guys turned a corner. "Oh god.." Lizzie said. "You're gonna get slaughtered. And it's all my fault." You came to a stop as Lizzie slowed down.

"No, it's my fault." Alaric spoke honestly. "I should've never kept that secret from you." He said.

Lizzie looked at him, confused. "What secret?" She inquired.

Alaric sighed. "Your mom and I had been waiting for the right time to tell you a piece of your family history, but... we waited too long." Alarics eyes geared up.

"What family history?" Lizzie asked.
