Landon looked terrified as hell. "See? Danger Magnet!" He exclaimed, pointing at the monster.

You groaned as you got up out of the chair. "What the hell was that?" You groaned.

Everyone looked to you, even Hope but you ignored her. "Uh, I'm guessing a Mer-Man." Alaric panicked as he told us.

Alaric continued speaking. "A very pissed Mer-Man." You moved towards Landon to stand next to him.

"Why are the monsters still coming for them? We don't even have what they want." Hope replied fast.

Everyone's eyes stayed on the door. "I don't know, but we got to get Landon out of here." Alaric commented.

"Oh no." Was all Landon said.

You looked up over at him. "What?" You asked as Landon moved to get his back

Landon didn't look away from what he was looking at. "You said a necromancer told you the knife was one of three keys, right?"

Hope was fired up, maybe because of you being angry at her or because she's on edge, could be both. "The Necromancer. Like I said, it's a long story, But why does it matter?" Hope inquired.

Landon turned around holding and black looking sculpture that looked like a wolf or something. Everyone's eyes on the thing in his hand. "Son of a bitch." Alaric cried out, although he wasn't actually crying.

The monster roared, wanting to get out. "This is Seylay's. I picked it up, but I didn't steal it." He commented. "I-I... Not on purpose, anyway." You put a hand on Landons shoulder. "I don't know how it got in there, just like how I don't know what happened with the knife. I swear, I wouldn't do that again." He pleaded.

You watched as Hope was going to comment so you took your hand off his shoulder and moved closer to Ric. "Landon. Landon. Landon.." She repeated his name. "It's okay. I believe you." Hope looked him directly in the eye but just then the Mer-Man growled and splashing was heard.

He cut in. "Oh, We gotta move."

Landon moved to put the sculpture back in the bag. "No, no, no, wait. Leave it, leave it." Hope called.

Alaric looked at Hope like she was crazy. "What? Are you out of your mind?!" Alaric yelled at her.

"No. I"m just sick of playing the same game." She yelled back. "So let the monster have it. It'll take it to Malivore. We follow him, we know where it is." Hope made this is sound easier said than done.

Alaric's voice was still loud but not screaming loud. "I am not taking three teenagers to a covert military hiding place for a demon portal." He looked at us 3.

"You kind of have to." Hope yelled, looking at Ric.

"Why?" Alaric stared at Hope.

The auburn haired girl sighed. "Because Seylah's going there."

"What? Did she tell you that?" Landon asked.

Hope tilted her head to the side. "In her own way." Hope lifted up the compus bracelet that Landon had and pressed the button "Hold that." She said, opening the sculpture thing and placing it inside. "I'll explain in the car. Let's go." Hope then walked towards the door with the sculpture in hand.

Landon and you followed Hope, Landon and you running outside while Alaric spoke. "H-He's a fish on land. How fast can he be, right?" He gulped. "Oh my god!" He yelled as the monster broke the door.

"Close that!" Hope yelled, now running from the door and Ric closing it.

We all hopped into the car, scared out of our minds. But you were also scared about one more thing, turning the next full moon.

We were speeding down the road, following the monster fish. "Turns out he's pretty fast!" Hope joked, you rolled your eyes as this wasn't a joking matter, but the roll of your eyes was also because you were upset at her.

Alaric looked over at Hope before back to the road. "Listen, this was your idea. So is it within my bounds as the headmaster to tell you to shut it?" Alaric glanced at you in the rear-view mirror. You were looking out the window, ignoring everyone talking.

"What if we don't get there in time?" Landon asked, worried.

Hope spoke up. "Seylah doesn't have that much of a lead on us." hope quickly looked at Landon then back to looking at the road.

"I can't believe she wants to erase herself just to get out of being a parent." Landon replied, he was sad but also annoyed with what his mother was doing. We then came to a stop extremely fast as Alaric hit the breaks hard. "What the hell is that?!" he yelled, pointing at the gate in front of us. You held your arm on the seat in front of you so you don't get yourself hurt from the sudden stop.

We all get out of the car and walk to the gate. "Triad." Hope said, you moved away from her and Landon and towards Alaric. Hope noticed this but didn't say anything.

Landon looks at a yellow sign. "Explosives?" He questioned.

"On the bright side, maybe this fence stopped our fishy friend." Alaric spoke up.

You looked at him. "A bit optimistic." You all walked to the fence, you in front of everyone. "I don't think so." You looked back at him while crossing your arms over your chest. You through the fence, making sure you don't cut yourself as you went through.

You were all running through the field until Hope put her arms out as we saw our fish friend. "There." She said. The fish started walking forward. "Hey!" She grabbed Landon's arm. "Stay back. He's dangerous."

"I have to get in there." He replied, getting out of her grasp and running away.

"Landon!" You yelled. You and Hope started running after him.

Alaric started running after you guys. "Wait, guys, be careful!"

The monster then stopped but none of us knew why and kept running. Just then we were hit with a shockwave from a explosive, being thrown back and knocked out.

You stood up, not in the field of Triad but somewhere else. "Hello?" You called. No response. "Hello!" You yelled again but this time, there was a response.

"Kate?" You heard 2 voices call your name and turned around. It was your parents.

Tears threaten to fall but you wouldn't let them. "Dad.. Mom.." You ran into there arms, them hugging you.

The tears finally fell and so did their tears. "How are you here?" Your mom asked as you all got out of the hug.

"I-I don't know but I have something to tell you.. and you won't like it." You gulped and they motioned for you to continue. "I killed someone and I think i activated my curse." You breathed out. They looked shocked. "I'm scared to turn, but in all honesty, I'm just having a really bad day and seeing you has made it better." You cried.

"Oh sweetie.." Your dad said. "Understand this, turning is the best feeling ever, but breaking all two-hundred and six bones in your body is the worst pain ever." He responded, honestly. You nodded. "But once that pain is gone, you'll feel so free and won't have a care in the world, do you understand me?" He cupped your cheek, wiping your tears as you nodded.

You looked at you parents in the eyes. "I don't want to leave you guys." You cried, breathing heavily.

They hugged you. "We love you." Your mom said and then they were gone.

You looked around hurriedly. "Dad! Mom!" You called but then everything was black.

You opened your eyes and groaned as you got up, quickly wiping yourself as you felt tears. "Where the hell are we?" Landon asked. "What happened?" He looked around

"I don't know. But I don't think we're in Kansas anymore." Alaric commented. You and Hope turned around and looked at the 2. You and Hope then looked at each other.

We were now on the road back to the school. How come you remembered everything about Landon's mother but Alaric and Landon don't? Hell, you weren't even sure if Hope remembered it all.

"Thank you again, for coming to help me." Landon broke the comfortable silence.

Alaric looked at Landon quickly in the rear-view mirror. "Sorry you didn't find your mother." Alaric chuckled lightly. "What I don't understand is why I can't remember how we found you." Alaric was being honest. "Hope?" Hope looked at Ric before looking outside. "Kate?" He looked at you before looking back out to the road. "Any theories?" He inquired.

"Work in progres." Hope replied.

You looked out the window. "What she said." You commented, not even bothering to say Hope's name. But what you didn't know was that Hope's heart hurt when you didn't say her name.

"Uh, I think the bus stop is actually that way." Landon pointed somewhere else.

"Oh, that's okay. We'll drive you." Alaric responded.

"Where?" Landon asked, confused.

Alaric didn't answer for a bit. "Home." He commented, chuckling lightly. You looked at Landon with a smile and so did Hope, but your smile dropped as you saw Hope look at Landon, she looked so in love.

"Why the change of heart?" Landon asked.

Alaric focused on the road. "Call it a gut feeling." He replied. "Or you could just add it to the lost of things I don't know." Hope continued to smile at Landon while Landon smiled back. This moment was the moment you realised, Hope wouldn't choose you, only Landon. You were okay with that although it still hurt.

After so many hours away from the school, you never felt so happier to see a school in your life.

You laid in your bed, looking at the ceiling, thinking about what you dad said about turning. Yes, you were scared but him saying it was the best feeling made you smile at the thought. But then Hope invaded your mind and your smile dropped as you groaned in annoyance. Why couldn't she just get out of your head?

You got your phone off your bedside table to see when the next full moon is. It's only a couple night's away so you have time to prepare, right? Just then the door to your room opened and low and behold, it was Hope.

"I spoke to Landon and he said I should be here with you." Hope walked in and closed the door.

You looked at Hope. "Hope, you belong with him, just go back to him." You let yourself fall onto the bed as you looked up at the ceiling.

Hope groaned. "Kate, what I was meaning was that Landon told me to come here because he saw the way you were looking at me. He told me it was obvious something was happening between us.." Hope trailed off. "Sorry I don't know what I'm saying.." Hope looked down.

You lift yourself back up. "You know what?" You questioned getting up out of the bed. "Something did happen between us but you almost about to have sex with Landon threw that away. Because no matter how much you like me," You paused, taking a breather. "it'll always be him." You looked at her with teary eyes.

Hope looked back and forth between your eyes. "You're upset about that?" She asked in a whisper. Her face softened. "Kate, I was confused about my feelings towards you and him, after Alaric opened the door and I saw you, I knew I chose wrong.." She trailed off. "I know you won't believe me but it's the truth. I don't like him, I like you.." Hope trailed off, you looked down, wiping your tears before looking up.

"Well you won't like me after I tell you what I did.." You sat down on the bed and platted the spot next to you. She looked at you confused and sat down next to you. "I'm just gonna get straight to the point." Hope nodded. "I killed someone and now I'm scared that I activated my curse." You whispered, scared of her reaction. You looked her in the eyes but she wasn't scared or mad, she was sad. "And I believe you, I was upset at the fact you and Landon kissed and that got the better of me and-" You got cut off by Hope pulling you in.

She wrapped her arms around you and you did the same for her. "I'll help you with the transition." She whispered. Both of you then got out of the hug. The close proximity made your heart flutter and breathe hitch in your throat. The same thing with Hope.

You smiled, not breaking eye contact. "I'd like that. but I'm not sure how-" You got cut off by Hope cupping your face and pulling in, smashing your lips together. You were shocked at first but then you kissed back, smiling even bigger. You also felt Hope smiling.

You both then stopped kissing and looked each other in the eye. "Do you want to be my girlfriend?" Hope asked, smiling like crazy.

You looked surprised. "Are you serious?" You asked.

"Deadly." She responded, looking at your lips quickly before looking back to your eyes.

You smiled. "Well, what brought this on?" You inquired.

She shrugged. "I don't know, I..." She chuckled. "I guess I'm-I'm just... I'm really happy that I'm here with you." She responded.

You nodded. "Well, it's a big decision." You said.

She smiled. "I know."

"We should probably sleep on it." You joked.

Hope giggled. "No. Absolutely not." Hope grabbed your hands.

"Well, in that case, yeah. I'd really like that." You both kissed again.

You and Hope sat in Ric's office. So apparently Hope remembered Seylah as well, but how come you both remembered her but Ric and Landon don't? It was confusing. "And that's it. Which brings us to our question." Hope looked at you.

"What do we do next?" You asked.

Alaric looked at you and Hope, confused. "How am I supposed to know? I don't remember doing anything you just said." Alaric responded.

"You'll know because you always know. Because you're a good headmaster in spite of all the things that I say and maybe Kate say's." Hope replied.

You looked at her with a small smile before looking back to Alaric.

Alaric laughed softly. "Well, in that case, I think the only question we should be asking ourselves is: Why do you two remember?" He asked, confused but also serious.

"We don't know. But I can't imagine that it's good." Hope responded.

You sighed. "And we can lie to Landon about all of this, but I'm sorry, Dr.Saltzman, we just can't lie to you." You paused before continuing. " 'Cause I really need your help." You were meaning activating your werewolf side, Alaric nodded knowing what you meant.

"Speaking of, theres... one more thing." Hope gets up and then pulls out the urn from the bag it was in, it's not called sculpture. She then placed the urn on Alaric's desk.

Alaric looked at it. "I take it that's the urn I don't remember." Alaric said. You nodded.

"Yeah. We figured it was better to have it here than to leave it laying around." Hope responded, her voice low.

"So what happens now?" He asked. Just then the urn glowed a orange colour, all of us looked at it before all starring at each other.

You looked Alaric in the eyes. "I think we're about to find out." You then looked at Hope and she looked at you.

A.N: Hope you enjoyed! It's finally school holidays for me so I'll most likely be writing more but if I don't upload then I'm busy revising for exams (help) or busy with friends, family, etc. :)

Also please tell me if I make any spelling/grammar mistakes lol
