FREDA WHITLOCK I ended the call after that bizarre statement Kaiden made. “Safiya was going to apologize? Why did I find it unlikely?” Something was definitely going on.

I laid back in my bed as I pulled the duvet to my shoulders and stared blankly at the ceiling. ‘How did I find myself in this mess?‘

“He said Safiya was going to apologize to me in front of everyone at the pack council tomorrow and I should be there” I stated.

“Wow, for real. I’m so happy for Freda. Finally, Safiya would be kept in her place. I am going to follow you tomorrow to witness. the drama“. She gushed excitedly and I sighed. “I just hope he really does what he says, because you know how Kalden is.

The next morning. I woke up a bit groggy from sleep and checked the time. I let out a loud yawn as my eyes landed on the clock on the nightstand.

‘Oh my days‘! I had woken up a bit late today and I had to prepare Cisco for school. I jumped off the bed and headed for the bathroom to wash myself up quickly.

“Thank you aunty Lyra” he cooed adorably and she smiled and. rubbed his hair affectionately. I quickly went to the kitchen and whipped up a quick breakfast and also packed Cisco’s lunch. and rushed to my room to get ready.

Soon we were ready about to leave when Cole walked into the room. “Good morning ladies, gentleman” he chirped and Cisco giggled.

“Hey Freda I can offer to take Cisco to school if you don’t mind” Cole stated. “No thank you Cole for the offer but I’m also heading somewhere after dropping Cisco off so it’s no trouble“.

Lyra and I were going to head to the pack council after dropping Cisco off at school. The last thing I wanted was Cole tagging along. Thankfully he nodded. “Umm, breakfast is in the kitchen” I hollered as we left the house.
