CHAPTER 30, Shot!

I can't believe, I actually finished my first bxb story...

I am soo happy right now. I know its not a good story, but its still a story, right??

Its the longest chapter I have ever written...

They were out. Lucas, Kyle and Albert were in front of the building. Each had a gun, for which Albert had license.

"Are you sure this is the location?" asked Lucas.

"Yeah, its what she sent me. Why? Any problem?" Albert asked.

"Do you know this place?" Kyle asked.

"Yeah my mom used to take me to this place to meet a friend of hers. I don't remember much, it was too long ago. But we stopped coming afterwards. When I asked her about it, she just said that none of her friend lives here anymore.

Why would someone take Hunter here of all place? What do they want?" Lucas replied.

"Lets find out" Albert said and opened the door.

"Kyle you go search for Riya, Albert and I will go look for Hunter." Lucas suggested. For which Kyle nodded. They all wore their Bluetooth before parting their ways. They wouldn't have walked even 5 steps when they heard a gun shot, followed by a scream, a female's scream to be exact.

They all looked at each other. The three ran towards the direction of the sound. They could see bodies of goons lying on the way. They were checking every room as they were passing by. When they reached the last hallway. They could see that the last room was open.

The 3 barged in, it was dark but they could still see an unconscious Riya lying in a pool of blood. Her stomach was shot. Her white shirt turned red. Beside her was a women with a gun, still pointing at the unconscious body.

It was Catty...

"Too bad she was the one who was shot..." She said clicking her tongue in a pitiful manner.

"So, who's going to be next?" She asked with eagerness.

"Should I kill you Kyle, cause you are the reason it all happened! If you didn't appear, Lucas would have married Riya and I... I... I would have become the strongest among the shareholders, richest among all, powerful enough to rule the world..." She laughed like a maniac.

"Don't worry Riya, they will join you soon..." She said turning towards Riya.

Before she could press the trigger, Lucas pressed his. He shot at Catty's leg causing her to fall with a scream.

"Why would you do that Lucas? Why? I am doing this for our family! For us!" She said in pain, wailing.

"For family you said? For us? You mean you? You did everything for yourself. You are a mindless selfish bitch! And you are not my family. You never were and never will!" Lucas replied.

"Guess I will have to kill you too, along with your dear father" She said with an evil smirk.

"What do you mean by that? What do you mean kill him?!" Lucas all but screamed.

He went infront of her and bent to reach her eye level. He took the gun, that slipped past her hands, when she fell.

"Tell me or I will kill you..." Lucas threatened placing his gun on her forehead.

"You wouldn't kill me, you won't kill me...

I have known you for years Lucas, You can't kill me...." She said laughing like she just heard the world's best joke.

"You are right, he won't. But I will...

Trust me, I want nothing more than to empty my gun in that ugly head of yours." Kyle said smiling devilishly causing her to gulp.

"Lucas, no no, tell him to stop. He is going to kill your mother. Lucas, help me Lucas. I love you so---"

"Don't you dare finish that! You are not my mother and I am certainly not your son.

Where is he?! Where is my dad?" He screamed at her face.

She just shook her head no...

"I don't care if you find him, but remember I only have the cure. As long as I have it , you can't kill me." She said confidently.

"What did you do to him? Answer me?" Lucas asked.

"Guess what, you are right. We can't kill you. But it gives us more reasons to torture you...

I will love it personally to skin you alive until you can't help but to scream and spill all your secrets." Kyle said.

"Guys, in here!..." Albert called from outside the room.

Albert had snuck out of the room go he call for an ambulance. As he was going back to the room, he heard some grunting sounds in the nearby room. He opened that room, only to see a tied Mr. Williams. He was moaning in pain.

"It hurts, it hurts make it stop. Please!" He begged upon seeing Albert. He quickly ran to his side. He untied him. Causing him to fall on Albert.

"What happened to you Mr. Williams?" He asked.

"It hurts...

Please make it stop."

"But, how?"

"The syringe. There is a syringe on that shelf. They always keep it there. Please help me." He said taking long and deep breathes.

Albert got up and came back with the syringe. He injected it. After a few seconds, he could feel Mr. Williams calm down.

"Who are they?" Albert asked.

"I don't know. I only remember...

Before he could finish his sentence, he coughed up blood.

Albert panicked so he called Lucas and Kyle.

Kyle signaled Lucas to go. Kyle was still holding his gun against her.

"Now, now, you want to make a deal? You can have Lucas just let me leave for now..." Catty asked.

"How about no?!

Now tell me where Hunter is?!"

"Hunter, you mean who is unconscious in there?"

"What did you do to him?"

"Nothing, just little bit of something, to make him...

you know, feel dead."

"Don't move or I will shoot." Kyle warned her and went into the dark. He had already checked Riya. Her pulse was steady. He used his mobile flash to find Hunter.

Hunter was very pale. His nerves on his right arms and right of his face, neck were showing. Kyle went to touch his best friend but when he heard movements, he shot.

Kyle shot her, he shot Catty right at her chest, at the chest. She fell down, coughing some blood. Her eyes wide. Kyle was brave and strong but not enough to calm himself when he made his first kill. He fell down on his ass, his eyes was filled with tears. He wanted to shot her, yes but he didn't want to kill anyone. No, he never intend to kill her. Even when was threatening her to kill her, he was just bluffing...

Albert and Lucas entered the room holding Mr. Williams. They saw the lifeless body and a shaken Kyle.

Lucas saw Kyle and immediately went to him and hugged him.

"Its okay..." He repeated.

"I didn't mean it....

I didn't mean it Lucas...

I sure, I didn't wanted to kill her, I just shot aimlessly but..." He cried. He was crying not because he killed Catty, but because he killed someone.

They all heard sirens.

"Lets get them all patched up..." Albert said. Lucas only nodded still hugging Kyle.

"Its been one hell of a night..."
