Chapter 28

Bite of Eternal Bond

The Blind Lycan King and His Queen

LIANA

I bury my teeth in his neck and he groans loudly, his muscles spasming under his skin.

“Holy ~fuck~!” he shouts out. His hands fist in the sheets at my sides, his talons slicing through the mattress. I can feel his venom dripping down into my collarbone. My skin tingles in its wake. “Harder, baby!” he snaps, and I obey, clamping my jaw together until his blood drips down my throat. “Oh Goddess, you fucking angel!” he groans.

When I break away, he lifts his head and his hips pump into me aggressively.

I knew, when the time finally came that he entered me, I knew it would feel amazing, but this is otherworldly realms of pleasure. I’ve never felt so alive, so full of raw, untamed passion, and yet so overflowing with love all at once.

“Are you ready?” he growls.

I nod, holding my breath. He gently brushes my hair away from my neck, softly grazing the skin with his fingertips and making me shiver.

“Relax, baby. I’ll be here the whole time.” His voice softens as he notices my slight nerves, and I close my eyes, feeling the tension flow out of me. “I promise,” he whispers sweetly against me, his warm breath tickling at my neck.

I push every invading thought to the back of my mind, and nod again.

“Do it,” I whisper back, and he waits no longer, piercing my soft flesh with his sharp teeth. The second the venom flows into my blood, my body sparks to life and I gasp, bowing off the bed like I’ve been zapped by lightning. Tears spring to my eyes and fall down my cheeks, not from pain, but from the overwhelming and all-consuming pleasure that lifts me from earth.

I whimper, absorbing every ounce of feeling. It’s like my soul is on fire within me. I can feel the almost tangible string that wraps around us both pulling us together like magnets. Body. Heart. And soul.

He slides his teeth from my skin, his head rolling back and his eyes closed, flying high with the ecstasy we’re both filled with. His hips start to move again and I am overpowered by emotions and heightened feelings as he really starts to fuck, holding us both prisoner in the moment and letting it devour us alive.

“Liana!” he moans, sending a shiver through me that I see flow through him too, and he chuckles breathlessly. “Fuck me, angel. The way I make you feel…I had no idea…”

I moan softly at his words. Then, eagerly, I tap into the new connection, the link we have just forged, and suddenly I can feel everything that’s going on within him too. He pours out endless amounts of love and desire. I can feel everything he feels for me, and it makes me burn.

“I’m with you now, baby. Forever,” he whispers, covering my body with his insanely large frame and pushing as deep as he can into me.

“I love you,” I whimper, clawing at his back and shoulders as if to hold on for dear life. I’m still overwhelmed with everything I feel. Charlotte wasn’t wrong, it’s the most intense experience anyone could go through.

“I love you, Liana.” His thrusting gets harder again, and tears stream down my cheeks.

“Yes!” I scream and feel him tense.

“Can I?” he asks with strain in his voice.

“Yes! Yes! Please!” I plead with him to finish with me. Sitting back on his heels and looking down at me, holding my hips in his giant hands, he pulls me against the torture and I shake violently.

“Fuck! Baby!” His cock swells to an almost unbearable size when I grip him and he spills out inside me, completing his claim as I combust around him. He pulses everything into me, gasping and sucking the air into his lungs like a drowning man.

I wilt beneath him, everything in me spent, while my skin feels like it’s glowing and I’m already dripping with sweat.

His wolf slips back inside of him leaving the only man I love behind.

Lucian rests his saturated hair and face against my chest, breathing deeply. His hands stroke at my arms gently before he lifts his weight off me to look down over me.

“You okay, baby?” he asks anxiously as he peers at my neck, trying not to wince. I hum with a smile and he chuckles, slipping from me slowly and flopping down beside me.

Rolling over, I drape myself on his chest and breathe him in as I adjust to the new, shared bond we have. I chuckle a little when the feeling of my fingers on his chest pushes through to me.

~“That will take some getting used to,”~ I say to myself—and he smiles.

~“It will. Feeling every part of you is…intense, to say the least.” ~

I laugh out loud, hearing his voice in my head, then sigh, relaxing. Of course, I’m used to the pack bond that lets me talk privately to pack friends like Ariel. But this is so much more intimate.

~“That couldn’t have been more perfect, Lucian… Thank you… for waiting for me.”~

~“I’d do it all over again to know you were what I was waiting for.”~

I smile as the tiredness now tries to wrap itself around me.

~“Shower? Before you sleep? You’ll be out for a few days now.”~ I can hear the anxiety in his voice, even in my head. I’d almost forgotten that part. Charlotte said the pains of the transformation would start once I fell asleep.

“Yes, please,” I say out loud, but quietly.

“We’ll get some food in you too. I don’t want it to be harder than it has to be for you.”

“Thank you, Lucian.”

“Anything for you, my queen.”

After a relaxing shower, in which Lucian takes care of all my needs and just lets me stand there while he gently washes me clean and dries me off with the fluffiest towel I’ve ever felt, he supports me back into the bedroom. There, the scent of a perfectly bloody venison steak wafts into my nose.

With a sense of wonder, I look at the freshly made bed and the heaped tray of food, stacked full of yummy carbs. Two thick venison steaks, buttery mashed potatoes, a creamy mushroom sauce, and green beans. On the side is my favorite dessert: warm pear crumble and custard. My stomach growls with ferocity and Lucian laughs loudly.

“Eat your fill, beautiful. Please,” he says sweetly. As I move off, he keeps hold of the towel, and I’m happy to let it fall away from me. I’m not going to be needing any clothes, not if it’s going to be as bad as Char said, anyway.

Using my fading strength, I scramble onto the bed and tuck myself up under the cool sheets, crossing my legs and pulling the tray toward me.

“Do you want some?” I ask as Lucian sits in the bed with me, but he shakes his head.

“I’ll have mine later, baby, or I’ll be up at two a.m. starving.”

I laugh, looking at the clock. He’s right, it’s only three p.m.

While I dig in and practically inhale my food, I can see he’s in conversation with someone as he looks away to nowhere specific. It’s likely Kia, knowing him.

Once I’ve completely stuffed myself, the sleepy veil starts to pull over me immediately and I sigh, leaning back into the pillows. The movement gets Lucian’s attention and he looks over at me and quickly takes the tray from my lap.

As I snuggle down into the sheets, he comes down in front of me and pulls me into his arms, holding me close.

“I’ll be right here, baby. Right here,” he murmurs, kissing the top of my crown. “I love you so much. I’ll take care of you. Don’t fight it, Princess, just let it take you.” I nod sleepily into his chest and nuzzle against him, inhaling deeply that sweet pear and cedar wood scent to keep me calm.

“I love you, Lucian,” I whisper and the veil drops, pulling me into the darkness.
