Chapter 4

Xandra's car above^-^

"Uhm...who are you?" After that pregnant silence boy, no.2 spoke.

And yes, since I don't know their names I'm gonna give them numbers.

"I'm Alexandra but just call me Xandra, I just moved to the house next door."

"Oh"

"Just oh? Aren't you going to introduce yourself?"

"Well, I'm Brody."

"And I'm Ryder!" Boy no.1 spoke, very cheerfully, I might add.

"I'm Blake Hernandez." Said the boy no. 3 who seemed very quiet.

Then I turned to the boy no.4 who was still analyzing me, I don't know why but I keep getting the feeling like I've done something wrong, I guess that's the effect under his gaze. Then he uttered two damn words.

"Cole Parker."

"And I'm Mason Parker!"

"I already know who you are, Mason."

"Oh, I thought that you guys were playing something so I decided to join in."

"Well, if you don't mind me asking, which school do you go to?" Asked Blake, who was back to his normal state.

"Uhm...St. Joseph high school---"

"Oh, then how is it possible that I didn't notice such a beautiful girl in our school?"

Aah, so he's a player. I should've known.

Rolling my eyes I said, " That's because this beautiful girl is gonna start her school tomorrow, as I told you before, I just moved into the house next door yesterday night."

"Oh."

But before anyone could say anything, my back pocket vibrated. I pulled out my iPhone for my shorts back pocket and saw that mom had texted me, telling me to be home soon for lunch. I checked the time and my eyes went wide as it was 2'o clock already.

I stood up and stuffed my phone in my pocket again.

I noticed that Ryder and Blake were checking me out, I don't blame them, I've got a killer body with amazing legs.

"I should get going then, Bye Mason," I told Mason, giving that boy a kiss on the cheek.

"Bye Xandra." He said, smiling at me.

Turning to the boys, who were now seated on the couch too, I said: "Bye, I guess, I'll see you guys tomorrow."

"Bye." Blake and Brody said in a unison.

"I can't wait to see you tomorrow. " Said Ryder, winking at me. I merely rolled my eyes at him. I don't even know the boy properly, yet he is annoying me.

I made my way out of the living room but turned back and saw Cole still looking at me with an intense expression. I sighed and turned around and made my way to the door and to my house.

Cole just said two words in my presence, I mean he was weird, was he always so quiet or was it because of me? If it was because of me then he would have to adjust a bit as we are neighbors as well as we go to the same school. My life couldn't get any more cliché, I mean my first day here and I just discovered a hot guy living next door. Huh.

"I'm home!" I said as I made my way to the kitchen.

"Lunch is ready, sweetie," mom said as I sat down on the chair. No wonder I was so hungry, I hadn't even had my breakfast today.

The rest of the day consisted of me chilling and watching Netflix with chocolate ice cream. With the thought of my first day tomorrow in my mind, sleep engulfed me.

I woke up due to the deafening sound of the damn alarm clock. It's 7:30 in the morning. Who wakes up so early? I was about to go to sleep again but this time got interfered by a knock on my bed room's door.

Urgh, why can't anyone let me sleep properly, I mean I need my beauty sleep. I ignored the knock and buried my face in the pillow. The next thing I hear is the door being opened and my mom shouting at Me to get up or else I would be late on the very first day. Oh, now I remember, it's my first day at school and I'm so excited. I mean I'm gonna make friends and then I and besties will be having a sleepover and we'll be braiding our hairs. Oh, joy.

Note the sarcasm dripping from my thoughts.

"Ok, I get it, all you want to say is that I shouldn't be late to school on the very first day, you don't want me to make a bad impression on teachers. As you see, I'm up now, I'll take care of everything from here. You can go now. Bye. " saying this I told her to get out of my room so I could get ready.

I made my way to my closet and pulled out a halter neck plain black crop top, a chequered black and white skirt, my denim jacket and my black ankle boots.

After getting ready, I did a bit of makeup which consisted of my favorite strawberry flavored chapstick and a wave of mascara. I prefer a natural look over makeup. I straightened by brown waist length hair and took my sunglasses and made my way downstairs.

"Oh, my daughter's got such a good sense of fashion, I have a feeling that you'll be taking over my company in a few years from now." My mom said, as soon as I entered the kitchen.

I actually didn't know what to do. I was stuck between my parents. My mom wants me to take over her company while my dad wants to take over his company.

"Oh, I will, momma bear," I said, smiling at her.

"When does school start, by the way?" She asked, her eyes now fixed on the clock hanging on the wall behind me.

"At 8," I answered, Nonchalantly.

"Then what are you doing here, wasting your time? It's already 7:50 and it will take you about 5 minutes to reach school and here you are standing here doing absolutely nothing. I say that you should pick that sorry ass of yours and---" I cut her off.

"Geez, I going mom, you didn't have to say all that crap, love you," I said before she scolded me for doing things a while ago. Mom has this weird habit of scolding me for doing things which I did long before.

I remember once, my mom and I were going to the mall together. I was really late since I slept a little too much. So on our way to the mall and while shopping, mom Kept scolding me for not waking up on time and she even reminded me about that one time when I was so late that I didn't go to school because I wasn't up on time. That time I was just 12. My mom isn't weird, she is just my mom.

I placed a kiss on my mom's cheek and picked up my school bag and went over to my range rover which was parked in the garage, I love my baby.
