It was a handwritten apology letter.

Qiao Yue frowned. These people were too outrageous. They used the audition to trick Jin Lu’s sister and they were using her sister’s life now to threaten her.

“I’ll think of a way to send more people to find your sister. When is your audition date?”

“Christmas Day.”

Qiao Yue nodded. Christmas Day was the perfect day for Qiao Yi’s monthly deal, which Qiao Ze mentioned before. It seemed like she had to make this trip.

Qiao Yue took the package. “If you don’t mind, I would like to take this to do a blood test.”

Jin Lu nodded. “I’ve already tried to give this to the prosecution, but they don’t seem willing to accept the case.”

Neither the police nor the court were willing to accept the case. Just what kind of power was behind Qiao Yi?

Qiao Yue frowned. “I may need your cooperation for the operation next month.”

Jin Lu nodded with tears in her eyes. “I’ll do it.”

On her way out of the teachers’ room, Qiao Yue ran into Qiao Yu.

Qiao Yu had just collected the exam admission tickets from the teachers’ room and was on his way back to the classroom to distribute them. “Why are you in the teachers’ room? Did a teacher ask you there for a chat?”

Qiao Yue put the package into her bag. “A teacher just gave me something.”

“Don’t tell me it’s a female teacher! Fifth brother, you have to be more careful. You’re now a scumbag people wanted even if they had to drug you.”

Qiao Yu revealed a teasing smile.

“Alright, brother. There are only teachers here. Who knows which teacher has heard you say that? Your image would be destroyed.”

Qiao Yu’s smile disappeared. “What happened between you and second brother yesterday? How did he know that you were in trouble?”

“I called second brother.”

Qiao Yu replied with an “oh” and seemed a little disappointed. “You can call me for help next time. I was just outside. You could’ve asked me for help.”

Qiao Yue’s mind had been a little muddled after she was drugged. She only called Qiao Jing in a moment of emergency, forgetting that Qiao Yu was outside.

“Alright, fourth brother, I’ll call you next time.” She patted Qiao Yu on the shoulder.
