The Odds in Our Favor (WLW)

IT'S OVER!!!

I just want to say thank you to everyone who has supported me on here thus far. You're awesome. Also, technically you just read a 463 page book according to the way I've got the doc version formatted lmfao. Good job.

Also, some thanks to some people irl whom I've told about this: My mom and dad(even if they aren't aware it's a lesbian love story), and Leila who called me insane every time I gave her an update and had like 4 more chapters than the last time we spoke.

I've been writing this since (I think) August 12th. Considering it is now October 7th, I think that's pretty solid for a story at this length. I mean, 463 pages. 61,781 words. It's the longest thing I've ever written.

This was genuinely a really fun experience even if I was staying up late to make the deadlines I set for myself. No, I was not actually dying, but sometimes it felt that way. However this did save me from some self destructive thoughts!!! (I am not mentally stable.)

I wasted away my weekends for this story, and I'm actually happy with that. I hate weekends. Too much time spent doing nothing. Until this, of course.

Now having learned that I'm capable of writing an actually decent story, I WILL BE WRITING ANOTHER!!!

I'm not sure exactly what the premise will be, but I think we're going to at the very least have a trans (ftm) protagonist. I've been going through my own journey in terms of gender and I want to be able to pour those feelings into a character.

If I do decide on this, it will probably be an MLM story. But don't fret because I'm thinking it will be an academic rivals story... And there will be plenty of angst...

Of course, this could still change, I'll keep y'all updated on my profile (FOLLOW!!!).

But finally, I want to thank all of you. This may not be the longest or most popular or best story on Wattpad or anywhere else, yet you all showed support anyway.

According to Wattpad stats, I have 36 engaged readers. This doesn't seem like a lot to some people, but I don't even think I could consider myself having even more than 10 friends, so that number is pretty insane to me.

As of now, I have 860 total reads, which is CRAZY. My last story couldn't even get past 50. It's only got more than that now because of people who explored my profile because of this story. Also, don't read my other story. It's literal dogshit.

Let's share some more stats just for the fun of it:

The majority of you have your age privated, but we have 43% in the age range of 13-25. Pretty solid. Though 16% of you are cutting it close being over 25. 2% of that being over 40. No judgement though, I suppose.

We've got 3% of readers as male and 62% as female, as well as 34% private, but gender is bullshit so lets move on from that.

I've also got you guys ALL OVER THE WORLD. The majority of people who have their location available are in the United States, like me. But, we've got y'all in Canada, Brazil, South Africa, Ghana, Nigeria, Uganda, Kenya, Ireland, The United Kingdom, Italy, the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Russia, Estonia, Romania, Austria, Slovenia, Israel, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand AND Jamaica. Of course, these stats could be inaccurate due to VPNs and whatnot, but it's still FUCKING SICK.

I'll say this once more: Thank you all so much for following along throughout this journey. This has been such an ego-boosting experience (I can tell people I've written a novel now!) and I am forever grateful.

I'm hoping to begin my next series in November, potentially as part of NaNoWriMo, but we'll have to wait and see.

THANK YOU, my fellow queers and non-queers! And goodbye until we meet again!

P.S. ignore the typo in the book cover lmfao. I only noticed it yesterday.
