Chapter 24

"You can come in directly Sir." Axel secretary said when she see me.

"Thank you." I said smiling.

I knock the door before come in. "Sir." I greeted.

He look at me then smile. "Come." he said.

I walk toward his table but he stand up and walk toward me also. To my surprise he grab my waist and give me kiss on the cheek.

"CEO!" I said in panicked. We both agree to keep low-key but he always have his way to take advantage of me.

"What? No one see us babe." he reason out.

"You made an excuse again."

"No. It's true the client called, babe."

"True?" I asked not convinced.

"Yes, but let me cuddle you first, I need to recharge."

"It still office hours Sir."

"So what, I'm the boss here. I can do what I want." he said smiling.

I pout to him. "Lets do work now." I said.

"Let me hug you more, babe."

"Axel..." I protest. But instead of letting me go, he hold my nape and give me a sweet kiss on the lips. "Axel... you're taking advantage of me again..."

He smile. "I can't control myself, babe."

I smile back to him. "Can we work now?"

"Yes." Axel said smiling wide.

After a while, we both found serious in discussing my project.

"Am I interrupting?" Derek suddenly come to the office.

"Mr President." I greeted.

"Hi, Ramices. How are you today?"

"I'm doing fine, Sir."

"Good. I hope the gentleman here didn't give you headache." he said joking while looking Axel.

"Not really, Sir."

"Just tell me if he treating you rude. I'll make sure I give him the consequences." he said smiling.

I just smile back to him.

"Hey, I'm your friend, remember?" Axel protested.

"Yes, I'm your friend but if you made mistake again, I swear I'll be done with you." he warned.

"See, babe. He chose to be in your side. He just betray me like that, so don't trust him okey." Axel said unserious.

"Wait? You called Ramices, 'babe'? Gosh! I'm so jealous now." Derek said dramatically.

"Well, I guess you should find someone to call babe too." Axel said to annoy Derek.

"Can I have Ramices, instead? He's my type." Derek joked.

"Do you want to die?"

"I'm just joking."

I really enjoy seeing them bickering like this. As if they not important person of the company. They talking nonsense like brothers. I'm glad Axel found a loyal friend like Derek.

"Can I interrupt your bickering Sirs? I have to go back now to my table." I said.

"Why? You can work here. You can use my laptop, babe."

"No need. My PC is much comfortable."

"Babe?"

"Beside I can't work here with you CEO. I can't focus. You're a big distraction to me." I said honestly.

Derek laughed hard. "I told you, CEO, stop messing with him."

"Shut up." he scold. "Babe, am I not inspired you?" he said whining.

"I didn't mean like that. Is just, you're so touchy and everytime you're doing that, I'm loosing focus to what I'm doing." I explain.

Suddenly he smile widely. "That means I'm your priority. You're affected my me, babe." Axel bursted.
