Chapter 21

"You look stunningly gorgeous tonight?"

"Thank you." I said fluttered. "You too, you look so handsome."

"Well, I need to impress you, of course." He open the car door for me. "Please hop in beautiful." Axel said smiling.

"Where we headed to?"

"I reserved a restaurant near by for us."

I nod and keep my eyes on the road.

"So quite?" Axel suddenly commented.

"I'm just excited and a bit nervous." I said.

"First date?"

"Y-yes. First formal date."

"Im glad and honored."

I just smile at him.

Axel stopped the car in front

of a five star hotel.

"We're here." he said.

"H-hotel?" I said panicked while looking at him shocked.

"Hey, don't give me that look Ramices. I reserved a table here not a room. So please relax." Axel confirmed.

"O-Okey." I said still nervous.

From entrance we walk toward the receptionist. "I reserve a table in the rooftop."

"Your name Sir?"

"Axel Amos."

The receptionist check the list then said, our table is ready. We walk toward the lift and stop in the rooftop.

"Good evening Sir." the waiter greeted. "Please come with me."

We entered a private area where white roses sorround and waving at me. The atmosphere is so romantic and candles lighten the  night.

"How is it? Do you like it?" Axel said.

"Yes. So beautiful. And the view from here, so stunning."

"Im grateful you like it. Come on, let's seat." he drag a chair and guide me to seat. Then he signal the waiter to serve our food.

"I guess its very expensive here."

"I don't mind it, as long you're enjoying."

The waiter served the wine first. "Care for a cheer?" Axel asked while holding his glass.

I smile and get my glass too. "Cheers." I said and take our first sip to the wine.

The food looks very appetizing.

"You can enjoy your food and forget your diet first. Tonight I let you cheat." Axel said jokingly.

"Well, thank you. Finally, I can enjoy meal to the fullest." I joked back.

While eating, I can't help myself to amaze with the view. It's so relaxing and refreshing to my eyes.

"Here, take this." Axel serve me his half meat in his plate.

"Hey, how about you?"

"Its okey, I still have in my plate. I told you, I would let you eat all you can tonight."

"Really? Then thank you." I said smiling.

After eating, my tummy was so full.

"The view is amazing right?"

"Yes. The overlooked of the city is overwhelming." I said agreeing.

"Actually, I have something to tell you why I invited you, Ram."

"Me too. I need to  clear things from you.

"What is it?"

"No, you say it first." I said.

"I want to hear you first." Axel insisted.

"I... What I want to say is... I... Shit! I can't find my words!" I bursted.

Suddenly Axel laugh loud. "Cute. You're so cute."

"Shut up! Can't you see I'm try hard here... I... I just want to ask if what do you think of me? I mean... lately, you're confusing me and I don't want to assume anything..." I said while not looking at him. I'm really afraid to see his reaction.
