Chapter 26

Epilogue

Virgin at 40 (BXB)

Third Person's POV:

"Bye Daddy!" Matthew waved back energetically at Xander as he jumped out of the car and running towards his childcare teacher whom he greeted with a goofy smile.

"Take care!" Xander shouted back only to have it fall on deaf ears. Sulking slightly at the attention his son is giving to his teacher, he grumbled at how his boy gets easily blinded by the pretty ones before starting the engine before driving to work. He no doubt had to admit that his son's teacher was above average but of course, no one had the ability to steal his heart like how Kye had.

"Matty! Morninggg! Wanna play?" Norman, his bestfriend, jumped on him excitedly upon seeing the brown haired angel. Norman has taken a liking towards Matthew since the day they started kindergerten.

"Sorry Norman, I have something to do…" Matthew apologised, scratching the back of his head with slight guilt for turning his bestfriend down. A small pout that formed on Norman's lips in slight disappointment disappeared as soon as it had appeared and within seconds, he was jumping excitedly, wanting to help Matthew out with his business.

"Can I help? Can I can I? Pleaseeee?" He pleaded adorably, showing his puppy eyes to Matthew which Matthew eventually caved in to with a soft sigh.

"Okay…" Leading his friend by hand to a corner with an ample supply of whiteboard markers and a large whiteboard to doodle on, he plopped himself down onto a chair before taking out a piece of folded paper from his uniform pockets. Handing his curious friend a marker and taking one for himself, he unfolded the piece of paper to reveal the words to summon Satan.

"A-Are we going to write those?" Norman asked fearfully, his face paled at the sight of nightmare itself. He believed that reading all those will end up summoning a devil itself. He wasn't going to be involved.

"Yup! Everything!" Matthew announced proudly. Almost immediately, his bestie had disappeared, excusing himself for a toilet break even though it was barely 5 minutes since school had started. This made Matthew wonder what's wrong with the paper as he stared at the long list of numbers from 1 to 100 and how to read it. Maybe his friend was just forgot to pee at home, he believed. But weirdly, even after 30 minutes, his friend was nowhere to be seen. Not that Matthew even minded, he was too focused on trying to read all the numbers correctly.

Reaching the number 100, he wrote it down onto the whiteboard with ease, followed by an equal sign but then gasp lightly when he realised that his Uncle Cas had forgotten to write down how to read '100' as. Glancing around for help frantically, he pouted worriedly when he realised that the teachers were busy with his other friends.

Furrowing his brows, he took in a deep breath before deciding to take matters into his own hands. Re-reading the other numbers, he gasped at how the answer was already there all along. "Since 99 = ninety-nine, 100 = tenty-zero!" He cheered in delight, proud of himself that he was able to figure out his own problems.

"Matthew, that's hundred, not tenty-zero." His teacher chuckled lightly at his cuteness, as he erased the tenty-zero to replace it with the word 'hundred'.

"Oh! Thank you Teacher Lily! It's hundred..." Tears dripped down his face as his bottom lip trembled. He already knew hundred but his papa is still nowhere to be found. Sobbing lightly, he rubbed his cheek against his teacher's one as if on reflex as he felt his tears get wiped away.

"Sorry Matthew."

"Daddyyyyy!" Matthew exclaimed as he ran and jumped into Xander's embrace, hugging his arms around Xander's neck.

"Woah, calm down kiddo, how was school?" Xander questioned as he caught his breath which got hit out by his son.

"Fun! Marry my teacher daddy!" Matthew cheered, jumping on the spot eagerly as he awaited his daddy's response.

"Huh?" This made Xander wonder if Matthew had already moved on from Kye but he knew that even if Matthew had moved on, he himself wouldn't be able to do so. Seeing where his son was eagerly pointing towards, he felt dispirited when his eyes fell on his teacher, Lily, who he doesn't feel anything for despite how kind hearted she is.

"Marry my teacher! Look! It's for you daddy!" Seeing his son's hopeful eyes, he gulped deeply as he took the small box from Matthew's outstretched hands. Opening it, he sucked in a deep breath as he fought back tears on how to turn down his son and his teacher down. He didn't want to disappoint his son again like he had more than 2 years ago but he just couldn't do it.

"I'm sorry Matthew but I can't-" He started but got interrupted by his son almost quickly.

"Wait! Wait daddy." Clearing his throat, Matthew took out a folded piece of paper as he read from it. "Hi Xan, sorry for leafing without no ice… I just… I just…" He stuttered out but eventually gave up with a huff and crossing his arms over his chest slightly pissed. "Papa I don't know how to read it!" He exclaimed to no one before gasping loudly and slapping his hands over his mouth for letting it slip.

"Papa? Did you just say P-Papa, Matthew?" Xander asked hesitantly, wondering if his ears were playing tricks on him.

"Err...no?" Matthew replied meekly, eyes averting to a corner of his school's building where his papa is supposed to be standing. Hidden in a blindspot, there stood Kye muffling in his laughter at how hilarious the failed proposal is. Yes. Proposal. He was planning on proposing to Xander with Matthew's help which funnily doesn't go as he had planned.

Taking a deep breath, he finally stepped out of the shadows to reveal himself to the one he loves. Upon locking eyes with him, it was as if time stopped altogether as the background faded into dark. The only one glowing in their eyes was each other. "K-Kye?" He finally stuttered out, not believing his eyes.

"Hey Xan." He said his name softly as Xander stood there still in disbelief. Walking towards his trembling lover, he took the box out of his hand and knelt down on one knee. "Sorry for leaving you and Matthew 2 years ago. Part of the reason is because I was going abroad to study for my degree in teaching and another reason I was just unsure if I am what you and Matthew need in your lives. Falling in love with you took some time but leaving you, I can't even imagine it. I love you, Xander Helbram. I really really mean it. Will you forgive my selfish self and let me make it up to you and Matthew for the rest of our lives? Will you marry me, Xander Helbram?"

"Are you- wait...is this…" Tears rolled down Xander's face as he stammered out in shock. He still couldn't believe that Kye, his love, was there in front of him on his knees, proposing to him. "Yes. Y-Yes. Of course it's a yes. What did you think? I've waited for you for over 2 years already." He answered honestly. His heart couldn't lie to himself no matter the case. He knew that Kye was the only one that he'll ever love as he had already fallen in too deep for him.

"Thank you Xan, I love you." Kye confessed, smashing his lips against Xander's rougher ones which he had missed as he slipped the ring onto his finger.

Overwhelmed by the emotions he felt, Xander threaded his fingers into Kye's soft hair, grabbing a hold on the back of his head before pulling him into a passionate kiss in one swift tug. His tongue wasted no time at all, plunging deep into Kye's warm caverns as their tongues fought for dominance. He wanted to taste all of him, to make sure that the one he loves is really there and that it's not just a dream. Pulling away slightly, they panted heavily, catching their breaths after the breath-taking fiery kiss. It was then they knew that they're going to be stuck together for a very long time, not that they minded.

" Is papa still going to be a virgin at 40?" Matthew asked out of nowhere, alarming the two adults who sort of forgot that he was still there and had watched their whole makeout scene. But that wasn't the important then.

"Who taught you?" They chorused as they stared at him in horror.

"Uncle Cas!" The angel exclaimed with a bright innocent smile on his face. Meanwhile, a cold shiver ran down Castian's spine as the two older males planned his death.

"I'll definitely make him a more car ice blended." Xander laughed to himself, a dangerous aura washed over him as Kye stared at him in confusion. "It's a long story."
