22 - The End 💕

Faye is in the bed side talking to Aki on the phone when she saw Yoko move from her sleep. Nong sleep was interrupted because of the phone-call.

"Who are you talking to?" Yoko asked in her sleepy face.

"Papa." Faye replied.

Yoko just nods, not really thinking about it. She just turn her back and tried to  get more sleep.

After few minutes, Faye joined Yoko to bed. She position herself so that Yo can curled up in her arms.

"Why does my Dad talk to you more than he talks to me?" Yoko asked as she move closer to Faye. "He never talks to me like that. She even calls you 'my daughter'." She added, she doesn't sound jealous at all but rather curious.

Faye just laughed with Yo's cute complain.

"But on the other hand, I think it would be awkward if he talks to me like that. I don't know how to react. He has been an absent father to my life and I don't feel connected to him at all. He is basically a stranger to me."

"Is he one of the reason why your heart is not whole?" Faye asked.

Yoko looked up to her.

"Yes. He left a huge hole in my heart. In my mind, he is a villain. I am scared that he will ruin everything for me. I feel guilty knowing now how he helps us to be together."

Faye explained to Yoko last night how Aki helped them. He helped Faye enter the palace regardless of the high security alert because he saw Yoko's sadness and he wants her to have company. He also expedite the marriage process so Yo and Faye can leave the palace, there is a rule that they can move once they are married. He also arrange this nice honeymoon get away for them.

"It's okay, you still have time to get to know him better. He also expressed that he wants to be involve in Yuan's life. He will be part of our lives now and moving forward." Faye said that made Yoko smile.

"I still can't believe that everything is falling into place. My heart feels warm."

"Mine too." Faye agreed and kiss Yo's forehead. "We just need to be strong and hold into each other as we go through this together. Don't you ever leave me again."

Yo hugged Faye.

"I will be here with you. I will not go away." She said as she hug Faye tightly.

"Promise?"

"Promise."

After the honeymoon, Faye and Yoko went to Thailand to meet with Yuan. They are both nervous but the kid instantly clicked with Yo. Yuan seems to like Yo in their first meeting.

"What should I call her mommy?" Yuan asked Faye.

Faye and Yoko looked at each other. They thought and planned about this but they still don't know what to say.

"Hmm.. what do you want to call her?" Faye asked, she thought that it could be whatever Yuan wants at this point and just explain it once he is bit older.

The cute little one thought about it and then smile brightly.

"I want to call her mimi." He said innocently.

"Okay." Faye smile with relief. "Is it okay if she call you mimi?"

Yuan looked at Yo with anticipation.

Yoko smile and nods.

"Yes, mimi sounds nice and cute."

Yuan jumps and giggled.

"Yehey! I have mommy and mimi now." He said and the  turn to get more toys.

Faye looks at Yo, loving and tender.

"Thank you." Faye whisper as she lean on to rest on Yoko's side.

Yoko gladly accepted Faye's clinginess.

"He looks exactly like me, babe." Yoko said and then turn to her.

Faye smile at her and gently nods.

"I know. No wonder why media is confused." She commented. "We have to deal with the media soon." She added, she is talking about the recent incident to which media leaked photos of Yuan in the internet.

"Papa will help us, right?" Yoko asked, the word Papa is still hard for her tongue to roll over but she is trying to get used to it.

"Yes. The palace is already working on it." Faye said with great assurance.

Few days later, the 5th house family release an official family portrait where Aki, Faye, Yoko and Yuan are in the picture. Yuan is listed as son of Faye and Yoko, and the three of them is depicted as a 'modern royal family'. Yuan's features that is similar to Aki and Yoko made the public to assume that Yuan is an IVF baby of Yo. The royal media control the narrative and did their best to protect the family from the cruel judgement of the world.

Faye keeps her job as an artist while Yoko started a restaurant with her recipes. They lived a relative normal life except from the times where they are called in the palace to serve their duty. They are non working royals and do not hold official service duty but they serve willingly to the monarch family to return their gratitude and to campaign their life advocacy. The couple focus their service in LGBT community and equal rights, they become an icon to the modern royal and society.

"I'm glad to live a day where I see royals like them. They are free." Queen Laia said as she observe Faye and Yoko in one of the gala night in Thailand.

Faye and Yoko are in the dance hall enjoying their moments together, they have no clue that the King and Queen of Thailand is looking at them.

"The society and world have come so far and yet there are still people that do not have the privilege as they have." King Tawan said and look at his side.

He knows his Queen's story.

The King and Queen are bounded by their duty and responsibility. They both know that their hearts do not belong with each other but they have mutual respect, love and understanding.

But what King Tawan said is also applicable to general public. The society has come so far and yet loving the same gender is still considered as a privilege. There are still people on the closet and closed doors because of the views, belief and the absence of equal rights.

"I hope they know that what they have is a privilege... and it's our collective effort and fight that will make it soon as an equal rights for all." Queen said with a smile.

"Sadly, Yuki will not be there for you when that happens."

Laia shook her head.

"The story of Yuki and I lived on so Faye and Yoko, and others story will be possible.I know Yuki made everything possible so Yoko and Faye can get married. I don't know how she did that but I'm just proud of her." She said it with a sad smile but she looks genuinely proud of everything that is happening.

"And I'm proud of you, my Queen." Tawan said as he squeeze her hands.

Then, they heard cheers and clapping in the dancing hall. They stood up to see what is happening.

"Did she propose?" She asked.

The King smile.

"I think so."

Faye is slow dancing with Yoko when she saw a young couple in their side. They look so lovely and in-love.

"I feel like there is incoming proposal over there." Faye said and pointed them to Yoko.

"Awww really?"

They look with anticipation and then it happens. There is a grand gesture and a yes. They all cheer on and celebrates this milestone of this lovely couple.

Faye looked at Yo.

Should I propose again?

She realize that during their proposal and wedding, Yo feels rushed and it happened too fast that Yoko doesn't seem to enjoy the moment.

"Why are you smiling like that?" Yoko asked as she saw the grin in Faye's lips.

"Nothing. I just thought of something." She said, still with lingering smile in her face.

Proper Proposal and Renewal of vow in one. 💕

In their wedding anniversary, the couple is set to have a mini celebration in Japan but that is just an excuse for Faye to surprise Yo.

In the eve of their anniversary, Faye re-enact her proposal with Yo in the palace library but now with all of their family and friends with them.

"What is this? We are already married. Why are you proposing again?" Yo said while Faye is on her knees.

Their friends and family laugh at Yo's questions.

"Because you deserve this kind of proposal." Faye replied with tears and smile.

Yoko burst into tears.

"Yooo... will you marry me?" Faye asked again to which Yoko nods.

"Yes, of course!"

The teasing and cheers follows.

"Yeheeey! Mimi said yes." Yuan cute little voice echoed the library.

Yoko look around and saw their son running towards them.

"Mommy and Mimi... when do you get married?" He asked.

"We are already married, baby." Yoko replied.

"But I want to witness your wedding." Yuan complained.

"You will see it tomorrow." Faye said to which Yoko is shocked.

"What do you mean tomorrow?"

"We will have our renewal of vow tomorrow."

Renewal vow...

The ceremony is just like their wedding but now Yoko's heart and soul is present during the ceremony.

Their parents and friends are present in full entourage. Cute little Yuan serve as their ring bearer.

"I promise to love and cherish you. Till death do us apart." They said in unison as they put their rings on.

"It is my great honor to announce the pillar of 5th house, Lady Faye and Dutches Yoko."

They both turn around and kissed.

The crowd cheer on!

...and as they say, Faye and Yoko lived their life... happily ever after. 💕🥂
