Yoko glanced at the side table where the ring box is and remember that she left it in their room before she leave the palace. She left the ring behind because her intention is to really leave Faye at that time. She doesn't want to end up with full blown drama so she plan to just disappear and then maybe serve the divorce paper or annulment after few months.

She thought that plan is prestine enough but then again, she is now on the same plane with Faye bound to their supposed to be 'honeymoon'.

Honeymoon? Wtf!

She look away and distract herself by focusing on the clear sky on the window's side.

A little help, please? I'm trying to let go.

She heave a heavy sigh.

Every time she tries to let go, faith will have her own way to intervene.

"Whats with that heavy sigh? Just talk to me, Yo." It was a gentle voice coming from Faye but she pretend not to hear anything.

"Yo... please talk to me."

Yoko blow some air and look at her with dagger eyes.

"Stop talking or I'll divorce you right at this moment." She said that made Faye mouth shut.

"I don't want to hear nothing from you until I talk to you." She said in warning tone to which poor Faye just nods.

"Are we clear?"

"Y-Yes."

Finally! Some peace and quiet.

They landed safely to Maldives.

The couple were escorted to their hotel room and the two keep quiet the whole ride. Faye would occasionally glance and help Yo with her bags and belongings but she is scared to even make any sound that will disturb Yoko.

Faye definitely doesn't want to be divorced on their day 1 as a married couple so she chose her battle carefully. She keeps quiet even when Yo argued with the help desk to get them in a separate room, luckily the hotel is fully booked that they do not have extra room to accommodate her request. She quietly celebrates that the situation is giving her more advantage.

They checked in their room.

"I'm hungry." Yoko said the moment they enter their room.

"They will serve the food later." She replied.

"Can they serve it now?"

"I'll check." She said and automatically went to the phone side and dialed the help desk to give instruction about their food.

Faye is observing and looking at Yo while talking to the help desk. Yo went straight to bathroom and then she heard the shower on so she assume that her wife needs a shower and food to cool off.

The food were serve just in time when Yoko is out from the shower. Faye made sure that she prepared Yoko's plate when she sat down. Yoko notice it but just pretend that she did not see it and get a separate plate for her.

Faye sigh but again... she chose to be married by keeping quiet.

They eat peacefully and quiet. Faye serve wine to both of them where Yoko accepted.

Faye smile.

"I'm sorry." Yoko said, as she sip on the second glass of wine. She looks sad rather than angry at this moment so Faye look at her, Faye is confused why Yo is saying sorry.

"I'm sorry 'cause I thought I'll be contented on little attention and affection from you. You are my first love, Faye. I don't have anyone but you and that is maybe the reason why I thought that it would be okay that you won't love me as much as I love you. I thought I could love you and nothing else would matter." She paused for a bit to sip on her wine and then look at Faye again.

"I realized that I cannot compete to what you and my brother had. You still have his pictures and memories intact in your room. What you had is real and authentic... unlike what we have right now when I have to force everything."

Yoko studied Thai food culture for Faye. It snowball from there — she becomes chef apprentice in Thailand thats why they meet again. She insisted on dating her, she made every move to make Faye fall in love with her. Then, there comes her family issue arise where Faye even agreed to marry her because her father wants to keep her name on the registry.

She laugh to the pain and look Faye in the eye before she asked, "Did you realize that I made every move for us to happen?"

Faye looks like she want to say something but end up not saying anything so Yo continue..

"And I know you and Kuya had Yuan. You kept it a secret. You even consent on putting his name on the registry. I don't know why you did not mention it but I think I know why. Is it because you plan to break up after 3 months? Was it just casual for you? But you got involve with my family issue so you just agreed to marry me? Is that it?" Yoko voice breaks as she lost it and started to cry.

"Now, Tell me..." She managed to say as she tried her best to stop herself from crying for more in-front of Faye.

Faye heart breaks every words she hear from Yoko. She badly wants to interrupt but she wants to hear it all so she knows where they stand. She did not realize how big this thing until it blows out of proportion. Yoko made some awful assumption about their relationship and she can't blame her for that.

"I'm sorry." Faye has some thousand thoughts coming through her head right now but she wants to say sorry first. "I'm sorry that I keep you on the blind side for all of this. I thought by keeping it to myself first and clearing everything out is that I'm making sure that once I tell you everything, it would be a smooth conversation. But I guess it will never be a smooth conversation about it because this sht is complicated as it is."

She laugh as she try to clear her head on what to say, "I wish I could say that I never loved Nine. I wish I can say that what we had is not real or something. But you know that I'd be lying if I say that because truth is — I loved him...and that is why we had Yuan. But Yoo, I had moved on. I am past that point before we even met again and way before we start dating." She pause and look at Yoko to make sure that she is communicating this properly. She doesn't want to cause another misunderstanding.

"Yuan is the sole reason why I had to keep his picture and memories. In my mind, I want Yuan to know that he is a product of something that was once a beautiful love and not just some accident or an 'oopssiee'."

"But why you did not mention him to me? Is that the reason why P'Becky and your friends say that I look familiar? I thought you just have a type but I saw Yuan on pictures and he look exactly like me." Yoko cannot help it but to butt in.

Faye gulp with Yo question.

I guess I have no choice here but to be completely honest.

"Well... I guess this is the part where I am the asshole because I really cannot bring myself to tell you about Yuan. At first, I just did not think that it was necessary to tell you about him because I thought Nine doesn't want to get involve at all and this is all before we start talking. And then when we get closer and closer each day, my heart becomes wary that I'm afraid that you will run away when you know about Yuan. I'm so scared of losing you, Yoo. That is why I asked for that 3 months time, so I could do my best to keep you. I guess to make sure that you love me more and more so if I drop that secret of mine on you, you will still love me."

Yoko heart aches a little when Faye mention her fear of Yo leaving her because she literally plan on leaving her after the wedding so the fear is valid and true.

"Yeah, I know ...what I did is stupid and selfish. But please don't leave me again..." Faye pleaded.

At this point, they both are tearing up and sobbing.

"I know you feel like you are doing all the work so far but know that it was not like that, Yo. In fact, from now on, I want you to stay from where you are. Just stay with me, let me show you how much I love you because I know I do love you, Yo. Probably more than you will ever know."

"M-My father did not force you to marry me?" Yoko asked.

"No. I have the ring on my pocket before you left my place and before you disappear to assume your duty as a Royal."

"Really?"

"Yes. Do you want to see the ring receipt?" She said jokingly.

They both laughed.

Then eventually, they look at each other. They both still have marks of tears on their faces. They just had a long painful conversation and now they are laughing like it was nothing.

"And I just want to say — we legit married each other, okay? It was processed before the ceremony happens and you sign the documents so you are now my wife." Faye clarified.

"I know." Yoko smile.

But Faye move closer to her with the look of seriousness on her face, "On legal note, you are my wife. But I want to make sure, do you want to be married to me? Do you still want to be Faye's wife?"

Yoko nervously laugh.

"Well... I guess I have no choice. We are already married and you kinda my first and only love so yeah, why not, right?"

Faye nods and smile.

"Alright."

"B-But I want to meet Yuan as soon as possible. How am I going to introduce myself? Auntie? Second mom?" Yoko freaks out again but Faye reach out to her and hold her hand gently.

"We will figure it out." Faye said with reassuring smile and Yoko nods as she calms down. "Yuan is still young and we can figure out what to say or tell him about us and the past."

"It is complicated."

"It is...and we will deal with it one step at a time."
