CHAPTER XXXIV: BLUE ANEMONE
Why the heroine became the villainess?
"On the next days, you will be attending the university. We'll write letters every now and then for you." Sister Mildred added.
Beatrice, who awaken in an unknown body, it was a very big turned for her. It was a world that was like slap unto her face to accept.
Long enough, meeting Sister Mildred and the children, her anxiety faded and was replaced by hope and love.
"Thank you. I will also write letters to you all."
"I will. I will too." Lily exhilarated.
"Me too!! Shister Bea." The twins made their way to get back on them after attending in their favorite vegetable.
She smiled warmly and turned her glance at the fresh and green plants in the garden.
"It was calm and refreshing environment." She mumbled.

On the day of project, escapade...
"I am not aware that there is a hidden cave here." She commented after being led by Rose on the path for their escapade.
It was a small cave covered by thick weeds and surrounded by huge rocks, because of that no one will ever know its existence.
Rose started to climb the huge rocks and assisted her after getting on the top. Climbing was easy because of the small rocks beneath it that used as its stairs.
When they got on the top, Rose jumped down.
"Ah Wow. He really was born like a ninja."
It was an easy feat for him. He, then, looked at her who was left on the top and opened his arms as his signal of "please jump, and I will catch you from here."
"You mean, you will catch me, right?"
He nodded to response.
Though Beatrice had grasped the situation, she could not help to ask it.
Gulp. "Okay."
"Inhale and exhale. You can do this girl. You even climbed up to trees."
Badump badump badump
"Then, why am I being nervous now??"
Beatrice looked at the handsome man with crimson red eyes, who was waiting below on her. And 'til, she could not help on focusing in his eyes. It was more mesmerizing when the sun's bright light shone on his two red gems.
Rose titled his head in confusion on why she was taking time to jump out. Realizing that she was staring for too long, her admiration broke into pieces due to embarrassment.
"This curse..." She mumbled to herself.
"Ahm. I will jump so you better catch me."
He nodded affirmatively again.
"Alright. Here I come."
She unintentionally closed her eyes when she jumped. The fear is real.
It was like back then, on their first meeting. His arms wrapped up gently unto her waist and legs as if he was holding his princess.
"His princess?" Beatrice abruptly opened her eyes, and what came to her view was the magnificent and vibrant colored crimson eyes of the man, Badump badump.
"I am in big trouble."
Their faces were too close to each other, and both flustered in embarrassment. They both turned their gazed away to each other. No one spoke in a short moment.
Then, Rose gently put her down. He took off his sword from his waist, and started to use it to write from the ground and to break the unknown atmosphere that was built.
[Would you like to go back now? We can still go back.]
"NO!" She uncontrollably stricken a big tone. Rose froze temporarily at her abrupt and loud response.
"Ah I'm sorry. I did not mean to shout."
"..."
Due to embarrassment, she just gave him a refreshing smile. "We'll continue, and we're already here. It is too late to back out."
And then, she looked down. "What the hell am I doing? We always been together alone, but I can't help thinking something now..."
"This project escapade was like... We, only the two of us... it was like we are going on a date." Her face warmed because of the thought.
Rose took back his sword to its scabbard, and opened a way from the thick weeds for them to go in the cave
They walked inside and suddenly, stopped. The light faded as the thick weed covered the cave's entrance again. Rose took something from his pocket, and a light sparked from his hand. Then, he picked up the torch lying down on the ground. It seems that he always come here.
Beatrice automatically clung to his arm while walking inside the cave. Rose was really a considerate man from her point of view. He even walked slowly to make up with her pace.
"Too close, but what can I do?"
In order to veer her explicit thoughts, she just focused herself on their road. "Looking at it now, this is not like a proper path for walking out from the mansion."
Because of sudden curiosity, her heartbeat and nervousness faded away. "After I explained to him my plan on deceiving my maid to escape, Rose told me that he has a way of taking me away secretively, but I never expected to learn this secret path. This is different from what I expected. I thought that we will go out from the back gate while wearing disguise."
"This cave was dark and had very narrowed path, which anyone will think that this place was made for spy or thief."
"I never thought that secret guards have to go to this length just to go out from the mansion. It was like he was not..." Beatrice was trailed off from thinking when a light emanated from the end of the path.
"We're near." She happily announced forgetting what she was thinking a moment ago.
"..."
"Woah. This place is amazing, Rose." Beatrice turned to look for Rose who was left behind by her excitement. She was truly happy seeing the magnificent view. The exit was filled of different beautiful colored flowers. To be called a secret path, it most likely a treasure, a very secret beautiful place. It was like a place for fairies.
Forgetting her initial agenda, she enthusiastically looked around the place, while Rose just observed her quietly. She was just like Rapunzel who came down from her tower.
"Rose, do you believe in fairies?" She asked out of the blue.
"âfairies?"
"My son, do you believe in fairies?"
"Are they true, mother?"
"Of course, they are true. It said that they are small creatures like us, but with beautiful sparkled butterfly wings."
"But I haven't seen any of them."
"Not because you don't see them, doesn't mean that they aren't there."
It was a vague memory from his past that was awakened by the lady's query. Remembering the past, his eyes went cold.
Beatrice was busy looking around and was not able to notice the cold stare of the man, whom with her, and just continued her monologue.
"Do you know that they are small creatures with beautiful wings, and when they flapped their wings, it emitted a sparkled dust? Aren't they very interesting and beautiful creatures? When I was young, I dream to see them personally, you know." She chuckled.
Then, she glanced to him waiting for his answer. "Oh I forgot. He could not able to talk. Anyway, a simple nod or shake of head would suffice. It was just a yes or no questionâ"
Finally, she noticed the stern look of the man. "Hmm?"
Rather being frightened with his cold eyes; she chose to smile brightly and said. "Seeing your eyes now, I can say that you don't believe, am I right?"
Rose snapped from his thoughts, and lowered his gazed on the ground, but then, still took to nod as his response.
"I am quiet expecting that. No one would ever believe in them nowadays. Even me, I haven't seen any fairy." Beatrice calmly replied and smiled glancing to the wide flower field.
"But you know, not because you don't see them, doesn't mean that they aren't there." She continued with soft voice.
"ânot because you don't see them, doesn't mean that they aren't there."
Rose, who was looking on the ground, lifted his head, and glanced to the woman.
The woman, who said the same thing like her mother, calmly smiled on the flower field. The wind was softly waving to them where the petals gently whirled around her. It was like the fairies was celebrating the princess' arrival.
But he abruptly averted his gaze from the lady, then, suddenly for unknown reason, he picked up a flower and approached her. He put the blue flower on her ears. It was a blue anemone.
Beatrice was befuddled with the sudden gentle gesture of the man, it was really sudden and her heart skipped at that moment.
However, the sight of the cold and emotionless eyes of him did not pass on her view. As usual, she chose not to mind it. Instead, she gave off her bright and warm smile on him.
"Thank you, Rose. I will treasure it."
"..."
"Shall we head to the market now?"
Rose nodded and go ahead and acted as her guide. Looking from behind, Beatrice wondered to his sudden gentle gesture. It was a first time, even from her previous life, to receive a flower from man, and put it on her.
"Blue anemone. A flower that only blooms in summer. It was a gift given to someone you love and respect...,
or to someone you have been dying to see."
