The sun hung low in the sky ,casting a warm golden hue across the sprawling garden. A vibrant hall adorned with colorful drapes, twinkling lights, and fragrant flowers. Guests are dressed in their finest attire, a kaleidoscope of shimmering silks and vibrant jewel tones.

Guests laughter and chatter blending seamlessly  with the melodious sound of nearby sitar,children running around.The air was rich with aromas of spices and sweets. The energy is palpable, a vibrant mix of excitement, anticipation, and pure joy.

On the decorated stage Abhimanyu stood,dressed in a finely embroidered sherwani. His posture exudes confidence,standing all firm without showing any hint of nervousness but no one knew his real feelings. His heart was racing like a drumbeat in his chest as he stood there ,waiting for his love.

" Mujhe nahi laga tha ki kabhi koi Hukum se bhi shaadi kerne ko man jayega" Abhimanyu's bua whispered to someone who was standing beside her."Sahi kaha ,mere hisaab se to zindagi barbaad ho gayi bichari ki ,pata nahi kaise rahegi hukum se sath .Inke ander koi daya hi nahi hai kisi ke liye bhi, aise insaan ke sath kaise koi rah sakta hai jo na kisi ki sunta na kisi ki koi fikar kerta hai" She whispered back to Abhimanyu's bua.

"Aaj kal ki ladkiyon ko kaha farak padta hai .Usse to paise or rutba dikha hoga or kya chahiye "his bua said making disgusted face. They both were gossiping themselves not knowing that someone heard everything.

Navya went towards cold drink section and took one glass in both of her hands. She smirked and made her way towards her dear bua and her gossiping partner. She purposely tripped in front of them and emptied both glass of cold drink on their dresses .

"Oh no.....sorry bua ji, tch tch aapke dil ki tarah aapko dress bhi kali ho gayi ,arey mera matlab tha ki cola gir gayi dekho daag lag gaya " Navya said in pitiful voice.

" Can't you walk properly,look what did you do " Her bua said to her as she was holding herself back from shouting on her  because if she tried to raise her voice on her and Abhimanyu noticed that ,he will make her regret everything.

"Sorry bua ji jaan bhuj nahi kiya maine. Lagta hai aapki dress ko kisi ki Nazar lag gayi aap lag hi itni pyari rahi thi na Isley. Jaiye saaf ker lijiye aise ghumegi to acha nahi lagega" Navya said smiling at her and left from there. Her bua cursed her in her mind and went away with her friend.

Navya soon joined her brothers on stage . "Why are you smiling so much " Aaryan asked noticing her grinning like a fool. " Mera Maan......." She answered passing him mocking smile. " Mat bata aayi badi heroine kahi ki" Aaryan scoffed and said to her .He  looked at his brother was looking at entrance with anticipation.

" Bhai ,chinta mat karo bhabhi aati hi hongi ,kyu itna tadap rahe ho " Aaryan teased him but one glare from Abhimanyu was enough to shut him up.

Aaryan mumbled something and went towards his badi ma and said "I am telling you, he will scare bhabhi like this and then bhabhi will also run away" Badi ma laughed looking at sulking Aaryan.

Navya smirked listening him and decided to anoy him. She stepped in front of him and said "Wait ,let me tell bhai what are you saying " and started leaving from there.

Aaryan looked towards her with wide eyes and ran after her and " Nahi nahi sorry please mat bata yrr please mat bataaa, maine kuch nahi bola ."

Navya tried to free herself from  his grip and said " No no ,let me tell bhai ,he won't say anything to you lemme go na ,he should know what's his brother  saying"

"Sorry na yrr mat bata ,bhen nahi hai meri  ,ab aise karegi tu mere sath please bhen mat bata " Aaryan said tightly holding her lehenga and her hand. Navya laughed seeing him like this. Aaryan was continuously pleading tightly holding her.

Bade papa came towards them and shouted at both of them " Don't misbehave like this ,go and stand there quietly" They ran towards their badi ma quietly.

Abhimanyu took some deep breath ignoring all of this. He was feeling both excitement and nervousness. Today was the day when he would finally marry Aarushi ,the woman he had envisioned as his partner for life .

He want her with him always. He wants to be her home,her safeplace. He was feeling very restless as he himself want to go and bring her here.

Aarushi on the other hand was sitting quietly in a room but inside she was feeling whirlwind of emotions . The vibrant lahenga she wore felt heavy like the weight of the world on her shoulders.

As she glanced at her hands she noticed her hands adorned in dark colour with intricate heena designs but she couldn't able to shake the feeling of dread that coiled in her stomach.

She had agreed to this marriage for her family yet the thought of stepping into new married life filled her with anxiety.She can't turn back  ,she had to do this ,with that feeling she finally composed herself. Her parents entered inside and noticed her sitting quietly . Her mother came in front of her and said" Beta ,you are looking so beautiful like a angel " while hugging her.

Her father also stepped forward and said while caressing her hairs" I am proud of you beta." Aarushi looked at her father with teary eyes and tightly hugged him . Every child wants to listen this one line for once in their life from their parents .She can do this for them.

Rohan and Sid also stepped inside the room and saw Aarushi crying while hugging her father. " Makeup kharab ho jayega aise roygi to or phir Hukum bhi darke wapis bhaag jayenge " Rohan said to her in a playful tone. She chuckled listening him and they both went towards her and hugged her one by one.She doesn't want to leave them , she was smiling painfully looking at both of them.

"Ye mat sochna ki hum teri galti bhul gaye hai ,mere liye abhi bhi tera ye faisla galat hi hai per ek chij yaad rakhna chahe kuch bhi ho jaye mai hamesha tere sath hu . Koi itni si bhi takleef de mujhe batana mai tere liye kisi se bhi lad lunga,aru " Sid said while hugging her again. Arushi controlled herself from breaking down and tightly hugged him.

She cried silently in his embrace .  After some minutes she composed herself and broke the hug. She said with a soft smile looking at him "I am completely okay with this marriage Sid,don't worry". Sid nodded his head and stepped backward .

They both noticed how their ignorance hurted Aarushi in these four days and they don't want to hurt her more as she was leaving them  "

Rohan hugged her and said "Waise tujhe sambhalna to muskil hai hukum khud hi pagal ho jayege, per phir bhi yaad rakhna Tera ek bhai hai jo tere liye kuch bhi karega "

" Bas bhot ho gaya Rona dhona . vidaai per kya karegi abhi hi sari ganga jamuna baha degi to " Her mother said wiping her tears carefully. " Waise lag to sundar rahi hai aaj tu kuch bhi kaho " Sid complimented her.

She talked with Sid and Rohan for sometime to calm her nerves down "Aajao muhrat ko samay ho gaya " Aarushi father informed everyone. Aarushi took some deep breath looking at her everyone happy faces.

Aarushi stood frozen at entrance mentally preparing her for today.

The music shifted , a soft melody that felt like a gentle nudge ,urging her on " You can do this ,Aarushi " she muttered under her breath forcing herself to believe it. " Just smile and nod."

As soon As Abhimanyu glanced in her  direction ,his breath hitched. He was mesmerized by her beauty. "She can't be real ,how can someone be this much beautiful" He muttered to himself looking at her with adoration and love. For the first time his eyes contain warmth for someone.He was falling apart looking at her.

He gulped  and quickly averted his gaze as his heart was beating rapidly. It will burst anytime if he continued his so called gwanking session. He took some deep breath to compose himself and again looked towards her direction.

Rudra noticed him acting strangely. He saw Abhimanyu like this for the first time in his life . The person who always had  control on himself , was losing his composure.He knew she  will crack his not so good hard shell. " Chlo koi to aaya jo  isse sudhar ker insaan bana dega " Rudra whispered to Vivaan and Aaryan . They both nodded and looked at their bhabhi.

As she approached the stage ,she caught the sight of Abhimanyu.The moment their eyes meet ,time seems to halt .His gaze was filled with warmth and adoration ,dispite her  anger for him ,he made her heart flutter and ache simultaneously. "Khadoos hai per handsome to lag rahe hai " She mumbled to herself admiring him.

He stood taller and automatically a soft smile came on his lips as she reached in front of her. "Jaan" he breathed ,his voice barely above whisper ,yet it carried across the distance between them like a soothing balm. He stepped closer and offered his hand to her.

She looked at his face and  hesitated for a moment before placing her hand in his. The touch and warmth of his hand send shivers through her spine.

They both stepped on stage Abhimanyu said " You look.... stunning" his admiration palpable.The way he looked at her made her feel like only person in the hall. " Mujhe to aap abhi bhi  handsome nahi lag rahe " She said to him smiling mischievously. Abhimanyu chuckled at her shocking everyone.

Abhimanyu stepped backward confusing her. "Are tareef nahi Kari to bura man gaye kya ,shadi chod ker ja rahe " she said to herself in her mind looking at him going towards his brothers.

Abhimanyu went towards Vivaan took two bundles of cash from him  and came in front of Aarushi. He took one bundle and moves his hand in circular motion in front of her top to bottom and threw them in air casting off the evil eye. He again did the same with second bundle of cash looking lovingly at her. His actions made Aarushi feel thousands of butterflies in her stomach.Youngers hooted for them and  everyone was looking at both of them in awe.

He holds her hand and said  " Mere bacche ko kisi ki Nazar na Lage "

Aarushi was looking at him with her mouth slightly open. She gulped as she felt a knot form in her throat. He was making her feel thousands of emotions but she can't able to describe them.

"Var vadhu ek dusre ko  jaymala  pahnaya"  Pandit ji announced chanting mantras .Aarushi noticed her cousin sister coming at stage with garlands , she took her garland from her.

Abhimanyu knelt down in front of bowing his hand a little as she raised her hands to put garland around his neck. Aarushi heard some gasps as she looked around and noticed everyone looking at her shockingly.

Aarushi herself felt something inside her chest looking at him like that. He was making it hard for her to hate him. "Ab pahna bhi do jaan ,itna bhi mat tadpao " Abhimanyu said and Aarushi quickly put garland around his neck and said " Mera marzi chale  to mai to aapko umar bhar tadpao " She said to him.

Abhimanyu smiled at her and put garland around her neck. Everyone clapped and they both made their way towards mandap and took their respective seats.

Aarushi swallowed hard,the mandap and the stage suddenly feeling like a spotlight illuminating her inner turmoil. As the rituals begins ,she struggled to focus .Every chant ,every gesture felt like a reminder of the commitment she was about to make.

"Just breath" Abhimanyu whispered near her ears noticing her inner turmoil. " I'm here " his thumb brushing over her knuckles. "Aapki hi wajah se ye sab ho raha hai " Aarushi said to him and slowly removed his hand from her. Abhimanyu looked towards her and released a sigh.

"Var ab vadhu ko sindoor lagaye or mangalsutra pahanaye" Pandit ji said . Badi ma came forward and handed him sindoor box and mangalsutra. Abhimanyu removed her veil a little from his face and they both looked at each other. She averted her gaze as she can't able to hold the intensity of his gazes.

Aarushi closed her eyes as Abhimanyu applied some vermillion. Some vermillion fall on her nose also. Aarushi slowly open his eyes and mix of emotions swirling inside her . Abhimanyu took mangalsutra and came close to her and tied mangalsutra around her neck and whispered " You are looking more ethernal now love ". Aarushi gulped and looked down. Pandit ji chanted mantras continuosly and said "Ab var vadhu phere ke liye khade ho jaye "

Abhimanyu raised from his seat and helped Aarushi in standing up. Pandit ji chant mantras in Sanskrit as they both started taking pheras. Abhimanyu feels surge of warmth,not just from the fire but from the gentle pressure of Aarushi's hand in his.

Abhimanyu feels growing sense of peace ,a quit certainty setting over him,his eyes fixed on Aarushi feeling a surge of love and something deeper, Whereas Aarushi's heart pounded  inside her chest as she focused on each promise made between them.

Abhimanyu and Aarushi , moved in circular motion around holy fire six times,their hands clasped together all the time during pheras . Finally,the last phera also completed and they both stood facing each other, taking deep breaths. Abhimanyu stepped forward and caressed her cheek with his thumb and said " We are married Mrs Aarushi Abhimanyu Singh Rathore " He had a small smile on his face.

" I know I forced you in this but I will try my best to keep you happy. You are my necessity love....not an option. I will love and cherish you with my everything. I–I am sorry ,please try to forgive me" Abhimanyu said noticing her inner turmoil. Aarushi was feeling very confused , she don't want to forgive him but also want to give him chance noticing sincerity behind his every word. She  looked at him without saying anything .

Pandit ji announced " Vivaah sampann hua ,ab vadhu var ke pair chookar aashirwad lele "

Aarushi hesitates a little but bend a little in front of him to touch his feet but  Abhimanyu quickly stopped her and by holding her arm and made her stand properly.

" Aap guroor hai hamara ,aise kaise jhukne de ,Aap kabhi bhi kisi ke bhi samne nahi jhukegi chahe vo hum hi kyu na ho" he said to her making her speechless at his words .

Aarushi's heart was beating rapidly as she sensed the sincerity behind his every word.He was making it really hard for her. Suddenly Abhimanyu bent in front of her and touched her feet making her gasp .She looked at him with wide eyes. Everyone was hell shocked looking at him ,they can't believe that he was their hukum.

Abhimanyu gently touched her feets and said " Thank you for marrying me and blessing me with your presence in my life from onwards " Aarushi's heart skipped a beat at his actions.She was feeling whole zoo inside her abdomen.

Rathore and Sharma family watches them with a mixture of admiration and suprise. Arushi whispered yelled at him " Ye kya ker rahe aap , sab dekho kaise dekh rahe hai hume"

Abhimanyu smiled and said "Mai kyu dekhi unhe ,mai to apni biwi ko dekhunga"

Aarushi blushed and turned her face away , trying to hide the sudden wave of shyness that overtook her.Abhimanyu chuckled at her cuteness and they both moved forward to take blessings from elders.

Finally, She is mine ,Aarushi Abhimanyu Singh Rathore. I can't describe the amount of  peace I am feeling right now. There was a  time when I was foreign to these feelings but now ,only her presence made me feel thousands of emotions.

So this how you will when you are at peace.

I am happy but still there  is something which is not settling well with me and it's her sadness. I hurted her by forcing her in this marriage and ,I know it will take time to make her trust me. I will try my best to earn her forgiveness no matter how much effort and time it will take.She is so precious ,She deserves infinite love and respect. I hate myself for hurting her.

I also sat inside the  car and gestured my  driver to start the car. She was crying looking at her family from side mirror as our car moved forward. "Please calm down " i said gently wiping her tears with my handerchief. She glared at him and snatched my handerchief from me . Ye to gussa ho gayi

She was crying and wiping her tears continuously. I waited for some time before saying anything . " Jaan ab chup hi jao ,itni pyaari aakho ko itni takleef kyu de Rahi ho" I said to her. She looked towards me and wiped her tears. After few minute she stopped crying and composed herself . I was looking at her whole time.

She looked towards me and smiled at me. I also smiled looking at her smiling at me but as I smiled she stopped smiling and glared at me angrily. I also stopped smiling and gulped. "Bhot hassi aa rahi hai aapko? " She asked me .

I shook my head at her question. "Nahi aa rahi hai ,bhot muskurah rahe hai itni khushi hai? " she again asked  me and i nodded my head at her words smiling. "Koi nahi ab shadi hogayi ,ab nahi hogi. Aapko itna pareshan karungi ki aapko pata chalega Aarushi kya chij hai " She said me smiling evily.

" Meri jaan ,aapke to pareshan kerne mai bhi hume sukoon milta hai  " I said and she stopped smirking. " Who is teaching you all this ,aise bate kyu kerte ho " She said to me in accusation tone.

"What did I do ,baby" I asked her as she glared at me . Ye to gusse mai bhi pyaari lagti hai, No...no focus ,she is angry.

"You are asking me seriously,first of all aapko aise baate nahi kerni chahiye, arey aap aise baat karoge to mai aap per gussa kaise karungi " she accused me looking all cute like a little kitten.

I looked at her with admiration as she continued " Aapko mujhe ulta jawab dena chahiye phir mai aapko ulta jawab dungi, phir aise hum behas kerne lagege phir mai aapko sunaungi or aap per gussa karungi. Aap aise baat kerte hai to  mai ku–– She stopped in between when she noticed me controlling my smile. She closed her eyes and quickly looked outside window.

"What happened love ,please tell me what are you going to say " I said grinning at her. She looked towards me and said" Stop smiling" I quickly stopped smiling and raised my eyebrows at her urging her to say further. " Now don't utter a word" I nodded at her .

She turned my face towards window and said "Chup chap udhar dekhiye or juban nahi khulni chahiye aapki" i bite my inner cheek to control myself from smiling. She looks more lovable thinking that she can control me. Uff, I will obey her every order if she look this much cute while ordering me.hayee

From now on I will write each chapter around 2000 words because i think chapter 11,12 are too long as they both are around 3200 words.
