Thank you for always being there even though my updates may take some time, long a month... cough, cough. Please comment for a last time. :') See you all soon... aka in the next author's note.**

Elian's POV

THREE MONTHS LATER

"Luna, there needs to be a matter discussed at the pack meeting regarding the leads we have on Nikolai Kane," Maddox informed me as I prepared the weekly list of concerns and questions that the pack had.

The term, Luna, is one that I have become quickly accustomed to thanks to everyone's strong support of their newly positioned Alpha. After Aeron no longer posed a threat to the Salina Pack back at California, the Alphas and I left to go back home after the first month. Reluctantly, I agreed to go home empty-handed, without Nikolai. Ambrogio, took it the worst, as expected. When there was no sign that Aeron would be coming back to California, he left in search of his mate and only source of true love and happiness. Last that I have heard, he has been traveling across Europe, between the realms of the Fae and the human realm, in searching hopes.

Around the second month of no news, my search team was still out there for any signs at all. It would appear to be that once we had some sort of lead, even the smallest hint as to where Aeron would be, by the time we approached the scene, there was nothing. They were always two steps ahead of us.Nikolai wasn't some sex slave, this was infuriating to me. The world was going around slower every day and with every day, my heart was heavier. It mourned for Nikolai and the conditions that he could be in, the pain and misery he was in.

Nothing was found and by the third time, I wallowed in self disappointment that I allowed this to happen. Not once, but twice. I was the worst leader who could not even protect one of my own. How could my people trust me with their lives after this instance? The Alphas tried to take my mind off of it but nothing helped. All that could help would be if Nikolai was by my side being his irritating and teasing self.

Everyday, I wish upon whatever fates may be listening, to send back one of my own to me. It pains me to go through the day as if nothing has ever happened. It cannot simply be done. There are no traces, clues, or evidence of anywhere that Nikolai could be found. They fell off the face of the Earth, or even any other realm. It is as if they are keeping no contact with anyone at this point. Aeron left his castle in the Fae realm and hasn't returned, due to the information that my grandparents spies have offered.

What am I supposed to tell the pack?

Lie to them?

No. I couldn't.

"Any other concerns that I haven't already covered at last week's meeting?" I asked Maddox before he left to prepare for the meeting.

"Nothing, really. There were more common questions about how being two rulers of different people would work, when there will be pups in the picture soon, and etc," he continued to list the issues and I was outraged.

"Pups?" I thickly swallowed.

"The heir is very important to the pack, they are just concerned is all."

"Of course, but it isn't something that we really want to get into at the moment, right Elian?" Kasey asked as he entered the room.

"Yes, but we do need to address it somehow today," I stated as I looked into his eyes, the calm color of the blue in his eyes allowed me to breathe in and out.

"I'll do that part."

I nodded and warily smiled, "Thank you."

"Of course, anything for you. Maddox, will you make sure that everyone is settled for the meeting in less than an hour?"

Maddox nodded and left the room and as soon as he opened the door, in came a frantic Zane.

"Eli! I have been looking for you everywhere!" He exclaimed as he noticed the compromising situation that he just interrupted between Kasey and I.

"I am so sorry Alpha Kasey. I'll come another time," he adds but I shut the door with the swift move of my hand.

"Nonsense, Kasey was just leaving to take care of more Alpha duties, weren't you?"

"I sure was. See you later, love," Kasey agrees before leaving.

After the Alphas and I came back, we decided to challenge Stefan for control over whatever was left of his pack so that the two of our packs can finally just be one again. We had gained power over both packs and before we could confront Stefan of what was to happen from now on since he is no longer an Alpha of a pack, he fled. This seemed to be a set back from eliminating threats to the pack but it also allowed us to release Zane from his room in my castle and allow him to roam the pack grounds as he pleased. To say the least, he's been happy to be able to be free from everyone. He is still a Luna, just a helpful one to me.

Zane began to wave his hands in the air to catch my attention again as my mind strays away from reality and goes into a daydream land, "Elian! This is important."

"If it's not about Nikolai, then it isn't important," I stated.

"Ambrogio is back with news! He arrived less than two hours ago and he is asking for you!"

"What? Where is he?"

"In the small meeting room for the Alphas, but there's something that you need to know."

I practically flew out of the room in a haste with Zane yelling my name from the Alphas and I's bedroom but I kept going. Once I reached the  room, my eyes met Ambrogio's and I flew into his arms. I held onto him tightly and I heard a breathy laugh escape from his lips as he embraced the hug as well.

"Lord Elian, it's so nice to see you. Although I wish it were under different circumstances."

I released the hold on him and looked down at my shirt to see little splotches of blood scattered here and there. I gaped at the sight and looked up at him, he then held a bloody Fae shirt in his left hand.

"No, no, no. This can't be happening," I muttered as I shook my head.

Ambrogio looked at me with glossy eyes and offered a smile, "We know that we were close and he could still be alive. We need to see this as a positive. He'll be okay, I'll make sure of it. I just wanted to check in with you. Shortly, I'll be going back out in the world to continue my search but he's still with us."

I tried to look at the positives, "Of course, please bring him back to me."

"Wouldn't plan on doing anything else," and like that, with another hug and farewell, he left.

Later on in the pack meeting, I announced the different issues that needed to be addressed and added in that Nikolai was close to being found. I also mentioned that pups are close in the future as well to calm everyone down about the pack's heir. Soon though, I want a pup. And I'm sure the Alphas would agree.

"Babe, you did wonderful during the pack meeting," Kaspar whispered in my ear as he pecked my neck from behind.

"Thank you, I was serious about having a pup soon, I think it would be good for us. A happy moment in the worst times."

Kasey nodded as he looked up from some paperwork that he was reading from the desk, "Of course, we'd like that too."

"Who would have known we'd be where we are a few months ago? We are forever grateful for you," Kaspar stated and I sighed in happiness which I haven't experienced in some time.

"You know I will never forgive myself for what I put you through before I revealed my true mate identity to you two. But, I'm glad you still accepted me."

Soon, we all moved to the bed, with me in the middle and I looked up to the ceiling as each Alpha faced me. There was a small breeze that came through the room due to the balcony door being slightly ajar and the full moon was shining brightly as well.

"I love you two with all of my heart," I declared and promised.

"Love you too Eli," the two of them replied in unison and started smothering me with pecks everywhere as I laughed wholeheartedly.

How did I get so lucky?

"I know right, we're pretty great... " Kasey replied through the mindlink.

It was a rhetorical question, dumbass.
