Elian's POV

"So, I hear that you are the mate of the Alpha twins that are talking to Stefan?" Zane asked as we sat on the grass, occasionally watching over the pups that were playing.

"Yeah, I am theirs and they are mine," I replied, not bothering to get into the technicalities that the Alphas and I were facing.

This time, I had a question of my own.

"Why didn't I see you at the annual Celestial Hala Pack's festival this year?" I asked, with my curiosity at its peak.

Zane frowned, "Stefan and I didn't attend because he was worried for my protection. There are still those who don't approve of a homosexual couple. Those werewolves are unpredictable as to what would happen if I had shown my face there."

I felt upset that I hadn't met Zane there because of these close-minded Alphas.

Zane did however mention, "It was perfectly fine that Stefan and I didn't attend because he pampered me that entire night, obeying every order or desire that I had."

He wiggled his eyebrows in a funny matter and I quietly laughed. Zane was a petite male, with caramel-colored skin and dark, brown eyes. He was shy around others, especially those that he had never met before. But he was polite enough to make conversation with me as our mates were conversing amongst themselves. At times, I wished I was treated as an equal and in the conversation between Kaspar, Kasey, and Stefan. It was hard to stand by the sidelines and watch everything unfold before my eyes without having a say, it was unnatural for me to remain under someone's orders. It certainly wasn't in my nature to abide by someone else.

"Do you have a clue as to why you are here? Not that you are not welcomed, it is just that many Alphas travel with a purpose in mind," Zane questioned as I sighed.

"I have an idea that it is because you are a male Luna to this pack."

Zane squeaked by my side, "Oh, really?"

I nodded, "Yeah, it is because I repeatedly told the Alphas that their pack wouldn't accept me as their Luna if I came out to them."

"Oh, I see. Well, I guess we are going to have a long talk during your stay here," he mentioned as he got up from the grass.

I could tell that whatever the Alphas were talking about, they were done for the time being as they approached us. As I stood up and straightened out my clothing, on the corner of my eyes, I saw something unfortunate happen to a pup.

The young pup was running around with others and backed up into a small hole in the ground. I flew over and reached my hands out to the pup to pick it up from the ditch. It whimpered in my arms and rubbed it's head into the crook of my neck.

The rest of the pups that were playing with this pup crowded around me, their paws on my legs in anticipation to see if their friend was okay.

And then it transformed into a naked, young boy. He giggled as I smiled back at him, happy to see that he was not hurt from the fall.

"Hi there, little one. What is your name?" I cooed to the boy as he held up four, chubby fingers near my face.

"I Fabian and I three," he said as I slowly lowered one of his raised fingers with a chuckle.

"There you go, now you are really three," I said and then I noticed that all around me, was an audience of werewolves and my Fae warriors.

I cleared my throat, embarrassed to have so many eyes on me, "Well Fabian, nice to meet you. I have to get going but I am sure that I'll see you around sometime before I leave. Stay safe."

Fabian nodded and gave me a toothy smile before scrunching his pale face. He focused hard with his eyebrows furrowed together and his tongue sticking out to the side of his lips. Finally, instead of a human boy in my lap, there was the familiar brown and beige furry monster before me.

As Fabian hopped off of me and the rest of his friends followed suit.

"Ready to head inside Elian?" Kaspar asked with a faint smile.

I nodded and followed everyone inside.

"The rooms are labeled with whose room is whose," Stefan noted as I told the Alphas that I needed to rest for a bit.

As soon as we reached our designated room for the next few days, I flopped down onto the bed. I was exhausted from the long trip and it was long due for a comfortable nap or two.

I felt my human converse being unlaced and taken off and the bed dip down to the right of me. It was Kasey who decided to take my shoes and pants off for me and Kaspar would help me with my shirt. They were both so caring and gentle.

No words were exchanged, just the sound of clothing being taken off. By the time the two of them were done and I was underneath the blankets of the bed, they started to leave the room.

"You're not staying with me?" I asked in a somewhat desperate tone that made me feel self-conscious.

"We have a formal meeting with Alpha Stefan as to why we are here," Kasey mentioned.

Kaspar softly laughed, "Don't worry, we'll be in bed soon and it won't be about going to sleep anytime soon."

Those words of his made me close my mouth and bury my face into the pillow to cover my pink cheeks.

Kasey's POV

What do you think about bringing Eli here now? Kaspar asked through our mindlink as we walked through the halls of the pack house towards Alpha Stefan's office.

I shrugged, As of now, did you overhear his conversation with Zane? I think it'll be a wake up call that some werewolves can be accepting towards a male Luna.

True, I just hope we did the right thing to take him here.

Before I could respond to Kaspar, we soon reached Alpha Stefan's office. Kaspar approached the closed the door and knocked at least three times to be polite.

"Come on in!" Alpha Stefan's voice boomed from the inside of the office and Kaspar reached the door knob.

Once we were in his office and he had raised his head from the documents that he had in his hands to notice that we were the ones who knocked on his door, he immediately told us to take a seat as he cleared his desk a little bit.

"Okay, so I just wanted to talk to the two of you to find out why exactly you are visiting? Not that we'd rather you not have come, but it would be nice to know the reason behind your presence," he said as I began to explain our situation.

"We had been traveling with Elian on his journey to make allies with different supernatural races for additional protection if anything were to happen to his kind. Kaspar and I had only recently found out that we were mated to Elian because Elian was masking his scent with an enchantment that he had discovered back home."

"So, the two of you hadn't known that Elian was your mate for the basically the last two decades?" Alpha Stefan asked, knowing that whenever he would visit as a young pup, Kaspar and I would endlessly talk about Elian.

"Yeah, basically that sums it up," I said with a sour expression.

"Damn, that's fucked up," he commented, shaking his head.

Kaspar decided to continue with the story, otherwise we'd be in this office for a long time.

"As Kasey was saying, we didn't find out till around a week ago or so. And when we found out, he said that we couldn't be together because all of the complications, including the one where he wouldn't be welcomed into our pack as a male Luna, we figured that it would be best to come here. Your pack is one of the most accepting packs when it comes to a homosexual couple, let alone Alpha and Luna."

Alpha Stefan looked like he was catching onto our idea, "Ah, I understand now. Well, I am glad to finally see you since it has been such a long time and I hope your plan is a success."

The two of us stood up and thanked Alpha Stefan for welcoming us to his pack with the best hospitality that could have been given. Dinnertime had already passed and we weren't that hungry as we thought we would be, so we decided to head to bed already.

When I had entered the room with Kaspar behind me, we found Elian sweating and squirming in the bed with his eyes closed. I rushed over to the bed and climbed on top of it, gently waking Eli up.

"Eli, babe, wake up," I said over and over until he finally stopped thrashing himself around and fluttered his eyes open.

As soon as he knew that it was just me that was next to him, he immediately curled up in my lap with his head against my chest.

"Elian, what were you dreaming about?" Kaspar asked as he scooted closer to the two of us and started to slowly rub Eli's back.

"Your pack, the introductions between your pack and I. And let's just say, they weren't very welcoming," he mumbled into my chest and I sighed.

"Nothing will ever go that wrong, I can promise you that," I reassured him.

"No! Don't make promises that you can't keep! It'll hurt more in the end," he yelled at me and I bowed my head in defeat.

"None of us know what will really happen, but you can't torture yourself all day and night. It isn't fair," Kaspar noted.

"How about we all just go to sleep and we'll discuss this in the morning?" I suggested and then the two of them agreed.

We positioned ourselves properly, with Eli in between Kaspar and I. Gradually, each of us fell asleep and Elian was okay for the rest of the night.

Elian's POV

Was last night a dream in another dream? All I could remember was having yet another dream about the unwelcoming pack meeting and then I was taken out of that dream by the Alphas that comforted me until I went to sleep again.

This shit was like the movie, Inception, that I watched with the twins in one of the many hotels that we stayed in.

I tried to open my eyes but the rays of the sunlight were beaming right down on me, scrunching my face up in response. With my eyes closed, I couldn't feel the presence of my mates in the room, but someone else. I clutched onto the blanket over me, scared to find out who it was.

"Oh, is the sunlight bothering you? Let me close the curtains a bit," a rather recognizable voice as I heard feet shuffle around and then a body land back onto the edge of my bed.

With my eyes still closed, I could feel the pressure of the light against my eyelids lessen by quite an amount, allowing me to finally open them without burning my eyes.

Okay, okay. That was a bit dramatic, so what?

When my eyes landed on the edge of the bed, I found myself staring at the small Luna, Zane. He was grinning at me with an excited expression. Well, forget what I said about him being shy, this was anything but shy. I assumed that he was distant from people he has never met before. But I guess since he already knows me from yesterday, he will already open up with me. Which was perfectly fine with me...

"Is that better for you?" He innocently asked, as if sneaking into someone's bedroom and watching them sleep was already innocent.

I nodded, "Thank you, Zane. I would have never gotten out of bed if it hadn't been for you."

"Oh, gee, no problem! I'll do it every day from now on," he exclaimed.

I inwardly groaned, but smiled.

"So, you should get up soon and head down for breakfast. And then we could spend the day together!"

A few minutes later, I found myself sitting across from Zane, at the kiddie table.

The kiddie table.

I had gotten to the kitchen a little too late to have a spot at the adult table, but there were plenty of open seats at the kiddie table. Zane always has a reserved seat at the adult table but he claims that he offers his seat to an elder and eats at the kiddie table.

Once we were seated at the table, all of the pups welcomed Zane.

"Hi Luna!"

"Good morning, mister."

"Hey, Luna!"

There was a chorus of greetings, all kind and heartwarming. They all knew Zane like he was their other mother and accepted him as their Luna.

I noticed Fabian standing near the counter with a plate full of pancakes and sausages, he looked lost.

Hey Fabian! You could come over here and sit next to me if you'd like to," I suggested and his face lit up as he made his way to me.

"Hi..." Fabian started to say before he noticed that he didn't know my name.

"Oh, I didn't introduce myself, did I? My name is Elian."

Fabian's eyebrows furrowed much like yesterday and then he smiled widely, "Hi Lili!"

My heart melted at the sound of my nickname, "Hi there."

My morning was filled with Zane and I spending our time with the pups, eating and talking with one another. Later on, Zane and I decided to take a walk together while our Alphas were elsewhere. Well, I wasn't really walking, more like hovering over the ground with my wings. My Fae warriors were trailing behind me, keeping a respectable distance for Zane and I's privacy.

"Are those guards going to be following us everywhere we go?" Zane asked as he seemed quite uneasy.

I nodded, "They're for my protection."

"Ah, okay. Well, anyways, I now realize that being in your room when you woke was a bit intrusive. Sorry about that," he apologized as he looked down at the ground.

Leaves and twigs were trampled on as we continued going through the woods with sunlight peeking through the trees here and there.

"That's quite alright, odd, but okay."

"I guess, I haven't met another person like me. Another male Luna, that I got too excited for my own good."

I felt bad for Zane, being the first of his kind. If I were in his shoes, I would be just as thrilled or even more to meet a person just like me in many ways.

"Well, if I were in your shoes, I could understand how you feel right now," I truthfully said.

He clapped his hands together, signaling the start of a new subject.

"So, now for the more important information. How's sex with the twin Alphas?" He casually asked and I almost choked on air.

Is that even possible?

"Oh, gosh. Have you not had sex with them yet?" He questioned with concern.

I shook my head with a sheepish expression, "We really haven't had the time and I don't really know if we'll continue to be mates. Why?"

"Oh, please, stop lying to yourself. You are going to end up with the Alphas whether you like it or not. It's a slight concern for you, because you may start experiencing your heat soon."

Confusion settled in me, "Heat?"

"Boy, this is going to be fun," Zane said as he smirked.
