Elian's POV

"I never knew why your mother wanted to keep you hidden from your other true origins, here in the realm of the elves. Though, I was upset that she disguised her true self, she did it to protect the prophecies. As you may know, there hasn't been a time where the Fae are mated to anything but their kind. If your mother made herself known to others that she was not a Fae, there would have been chaos," Adrian stated as he tried to explain why I have never seen or known about him before.

I frowned, thinking about my current situation, "Nevertheless, isn't that how the Fae will react to the mating of the Alphas and I?"

"In theory, yes. Although, this is all based on an opinion, you'll never truly know till you try."

I nodded as we were silently thinking to ourselves on the bench of the castle's garden. It was still daytime here, and I had a countless number of questions for Adrian. As my shock dwindled down, I couldn't be any happier despite the issues that I was facing. The numb feeling of my heart was still present as hard as I tried to free my mind of the twins.

"The death of my daughter was a tragedy for all realms, as it was for your father as well. We, the elves here, are still constantly trying to find the cause of their deaths. I will not rest until the ones who caused such sorrow in my heart are found and punished."

As hard as it was to accept the death of my parents, it was nice to be reminded that I was not the only one who was still grieving. For the longest time, we remained on the bench and caught up on each other's lives.

I informed Adrian on how the realm of the Fae was being ran with me as their authority figure. What came to my mind as I spoke thoughtfully about my people, was that even if the Alphas and I chose to work things out with one another, it still wouldn't work. They wouldn't leave their pack and I wouldn't want to leave my people, we both had previous priorities before this pairing took place. I couldn't decide to be like my mother and leave home to be with my mates, I had responsibilities. The people of my realm put their trust in me on a daily basis, I couldn't let them down.

Adrian also mentioned his wife, my grandmother. She was in the human world, meeting with other kinds in the human world. When I questioned why she would go and travel when he could, he had a feeling that I would come and decided to stay back. She would be back in a few days' time, and I planned to stay that long to at least meet her once before I'd be on my way. When he referred to my grandmother, he smiled with so much love and affection that I was extremely thrilled to meet this woman.

Soon enough, we decided to head inside the castle and walk around the hall to continue our conversations, I believe that neither of us wanted to rest just yet. It was far past the time that I would have reapplied the enchantment for the masking of the mate scent, I figured that the Alphas weren't here at the moment and even if they were, they already know that I am their mate.

As we walked into the hall, there was a disturbance by the doors.

Five wolves and the familiar Fae warriors bursted into the common hall of the castle in a furious state, their eyes landing on Adrian and I. To anyone else other than myself, Adrian may have seemed to be an attractive, young male. He is my grandfather, that would simply be incest, but no one else knew this. Thus, the Alphas' anger and irritation directed at Adrian and other past male figures that always lurked around me in a friendly and caring manner. Before I could warn everyone, they started to charge towards me.

A quick decision was made, and I used an enchantment to freeze the entourage in their present positions. They all were frozen in place, but still could make noises as they pleased. When I reached the Alphas, they were constantly growling.

"Kaspar and Kasey, would you take a minute to relax first? This elf that is present is my grandfather, he is no threat. I promise."

I instantly released them from their invisible binds and they padded over to me. Kaspar was a darker shade of grey than Kasey was, but both still held dominating figures. I ran my hands over both of their bodies and they both nuzzled their heads into my sides in a pleased way. When I looked up from the two werewolves, the Fae warriors were introducing themselves to Adrian and the other three wolves, transformed back with borrowed pants from the castle, were walking towards the two Alphas.

"Alphas, if you'd like, you could get changed in the bathroom down the hall," said Jasper as he flashed me a smile.

Kaspar and Kasey were reluctant to leave my side, but as soon as I promised to stay exactly where I was, they trotted off to the bathroom. I then walked over to my grandfather and shyly smiled.

"Elian, I'll take a wild guess and suggest that those Alphas were your mates?"

I laughed at his sarcasm and nodded. Kaspar and Kasey then came out from the end of the hall with pairs of joggers and naked, toned chests.

"We apologize for the first impressions we had just given off, Elian means everything to us," Kaspar apologized to Adrian as he held out his hand.

The two Alphas shook hands with Adrian and everything was explained, from how Adrian was my grandfather to the elves of this realm. Once everything was less confusing, Kaspar suddenly grabbed my hand and dragged me up the stairs to a guest room of the castle that Adrian told them was free.

Even my own grandfather was on their side. Traitor.

I was seated on the king-sized bed when Kasey calmly closed the doors to the room and Kaspar paced the bedroom floor. The palms of my hands were sweaty when I constantly wiped them against my pants. To say that I wasn't nervous, would be the biggest lie I had ever told.

"I simply don't understand," Kaspar admitted as he ran his hand through his hair.

Kasey walked up next to Kaspar and sighed, "Why wouldn't you like to be our mate?"

Tears threatened to fall down my face as I bowed my head downwards in shame. All this time, I had thought that what I was doing would benefit the Alphas and I. Though, in reality, I was being selfish and protecting myself from everything. Honestly, there wasn't anything wrong with having two mates, let alone werewolves. It was all in my head, the What Ifs?.

"Even though, I have appeared to be a dishonest and unappreciative mate, I'd still love to be yours. If I may speak honestly and blunt, I really do not know what came over me these past few years. I guess I was frightened what would ever happen if I ever came out to you," I spoke truthfully for the first time in a long time.

Both men sighed as they took a seat on either side of me on the bed. Kaspar stretched his hand out and brushed some of my hair behind my ear.

"Elian, we'll always want you as our mate, there isn't anything that you could do to push us away," said Kaspar.

"No, that isn't fair! You have to feel upset, betrayed, or hurt. You can't act like everything I have done to the two of you is in the past," I yelled out, upset over how calm and collected they are about the one person they were supposed to be able to trust who betrayed them.

"Would you like us to spank you?" Kasey asked with a smirk.

Okay, this whole situation just became really kinky. Though oddly enough, I didn't mind, but I think I will keep that to myself.

My cheeks were flushed when I shook my head and the two Alphas chuckled. We decided to take a nap on the bed together and it was even better than the sleep we had together before.

"Hi everyone, welcome to yet another pack meeting. Although, this one is slightly different than the others," Kaspar declared as he spoke with the utmost authority in the hall full of werewolves.

Kaspar's voice rung through the large room and not one voice was heard other than his. It was quite admirable to see both Alphas have such dominance over so many people, and for the pack to have much respect and trust for their leaders.

I looked around, confused as to what I was doing here. In the hall that the festival was held in a few weeks ago, was a pack meeting of some sort for the Celestial Hala Pack. There was a little elevated ground near the front of the hall where the Alphas, Beta, and other important ranked werewolves would be seated. And the rest of the hall were rows and rows of chairs. Some were seated in the chairs and others stood up instead.

As I scouted the hall, I could see curious eyes land on me as Kasey and Kaspar continue to talk and make announcements. I, too, wondered why I was here. It couldn't possibly be for what I thought it was. Never in a million years.

"Elian, would you come up here?" questioned Kasey as he motioned me to stand beside him and Kaspar.

I nodded warily as I stood up and walked over to the twins. Each took a hand of mine, clutched it tightly with hesitation and anticipation etched onto their faces, began to announce their big surprise.

"Elian, has been recently discovered as our mate. He is now the Luna of the Celestial Hala Pack," said Kasey as he let out a breath of air.

Perhaps, I was able to convince myself that I'd be accepted by everyone that I didn't think that there was a possibility of no one becoming happy or elated of this news. There was no immediate applause, except for those who already knew me from past experience. But it embarrassingly grew into a loud applause. It could be easily notable that most of the pack were clapping and showing thrilled expressions because their Alphas were before them.  There were those who were brave enough to show their true reactions by just standing there and whispering in each others ears as their eyes glared at me.

Deep inside, I knew that this would be the outcome, I was simply in denial.

I only hoped that my people back home would not have the same reactions when I introduced the Alphas.

"Elian, would you like to say something?" Kaspar asked as every bone in my body wanted to yell in protests.

Though, I knew that it was a common courtesy to acknowledge the pack and show respect for their acceptance.

I cleared my throat and gulped down before shakily speaking, "Hi, everyone. As you may already know, my name is Elian. I am the Lord of the Fae. I hope to meet each and every one of you and hope that you will accept me as your Luna."

"How can we accept you as Luna? You're not even a female," a young, male voice yelled from the crowd, without recognition as to who interrupted the introductions, Kaspar answered for me.

I knew these types of questions would surface among the crowd, I thought to myself.

"A Luna is a person that is the true mate of the Alphas of the pack. A Luna is one that is capable to take care and nurture a pack to its utmost strength. This person does not have to be a female. Surely, you would know that Nate. And if there is a chance that you don't approve of this, you can pack yourself up and go to another pack."

"Any other questions?" Kasey addressed the question to the crowd with a stoic face.

No one answered, but their thoughts were another thing as I could sense the Alphas moods become sorrowful, disappointed, and sour. I couldn't live like this, not like this at all.

I woke up in sweat, breathing heavily into the chest of Kasey. We had fallen asleep similar to the night at Cara and Caspian's household.

The Alphas stirred lightly as I crawled out of bed without disturbing them from their needed sleep. I often wondered why they chased after me, why they continued to annoyingly love me unconditionally, and why I just cannot accept the fact that they will never think differently of me and what I have done in the past.

I start to walk down the stairs of the castle and notice the pale moon, barely present in the sky due to the clouds, through the tall windows that stretched from the ceiling to the floor. My wings were stretching themselves out as I finally was lifted off of my feet and hovered over the floor. I decided to take a trip back to the castle's garden, where all was calm and peaceful, something I desperately needed at the moment.

The same bench that Adrian and I were seated at earlier was soon found. I soon found myself, lying on the bench, viewing the surreal image in front of me. There was obviously a castle before me, but beyond that was a scene that could not be so easily described in words.

It was like a painting.

Pass the castle, were dark, evergreen trees that ventured deeply into the mountains. The horizon was full of mountain tops that were covered in snow, like white frosting on purplish blue cupcakes. The sky was simply breathtaking, specks of silver in the sky of dark blue, purple, and black streaks of color. Few waterfalls were scattered from distance to distance, their water running endlessly into an abyss of more water. The constant sounds of the waterfall were soothing to hear as the melodic noises flowed through one ear and out the other. This realm was even more tranquil than my own, and the realm of the Fae was very untroubled with good fun thrown into the mix.

Padded steps were heard coming closer to me as I lifted my head slightly to find the Alphas in their wolf forms and a pair of sweats in their muzzles.

They dropped the sweats and transformed before my eyes as I placed my hand over my face. The both of them hit the jackpot in the departments of good looks.

That was incredibly corny...

You could definitely tell that I am nowhere close to the beautiful beings next to me. Kaspar sat at one end so I could lay my head on his lap, while Kasey propped my feet on top of his lap at the other end of the bench. No one spoke and I was sure of it that they could sense my unhappiness.

As Kaspar brushed his hands through my hair so effortlessly, I sighed in a drowsy state. My eyelids felt heavy, and my body was soon begging to be out of commission.

I decided that tomorrow is the day that I would tell them that I truly cannot handle the future of being their mate.

Today, right now, I will bask in the moment as long as I could.
