Krisha

I suddenly woke up holding my head due to throbbing headache.

Having no idea of what was happening to my idiotic head, I started thrashing my hands and legs, when I realized my hand clutching a hand.

I looked to see me holding Arjun's hand, who was fast asleep, keeping head on the bed and sitting down next to it.

Won't he have a neck sprain now?

And why is he even sitting down?

"Arjun!" I called out, and shook him a little to wake him up.

"What happened? See I'm here, I'm not gonna leave you ever." He said all of sudden as he woke up.

"Shh... Calm down! and why are you sleeping like this? Don't you know you'll have a neck sprain now?" I kind of scolded him, which made him shocked for some reason.

"You held my hand like I'm some treasure, so how would've I slept somewhere else?" He answered.

"And also, you told me that I should not sleep on the bed next to you, and this room surprisingly does not even have a proper couch, only chairs." He said shrugging his shoulders and I for a moment, felt really guilty.

"See, first of all I'm an idiot, so it's not important to listen to every fricking thing that I say." I said and he nodded his head like a obedient child.

"Secondly, in your bedroom you had a huge sofa, so it was not a problem for you to not sleep on the bed, so I said all of that, but now when you can see that there's no place to sleep other than the bed you can sleep here." I said and took a deep sigh controlling the headache.

"So, what are we supposed to do now?" He questioned.

"Obviously, Sleep." I said in a duh tone.

"But it's past afternoon and were going to check out in the evening, so..."He trailed off.

"I know that, but I'm having a extreme headache and I can't think of anything else except sleeping." I said and again laid on the bed.

"Shall I massage it?" He asked all of a sudden.

"What?" I asked completely unaware about what he's asking.

"Your head." He replied.

"Oh yeah, my head. Sure." I said and again slept.

"If you'll sleep like this, how will I massage it?" He asked, and I thought about it for a long moment before replying.

"Get up." I said and he looked at me with confused expression.

"I said get up " I repeated myself and he obliged within a second.

"Now sit on the bed." I said and he looked clearly confused but did as asked.

"Now you can do it." I said as soon as I laid my head on his lap while he was sitting with his back against the back rest and legs folded.

"Huh?" He said as if he was not even present here till now.

"I said now you can massage my head. Right?" I asked raising a brow to which he smiled and nodded his head while I closed my eyes falling in deep sleep.

Arjun

This woman is making me go crazy.

Who would've thought the one who actually hated me and couldn't even tolerate me will all of a sudden sleep keeping her head on my lap.

If only we would've been an actual couple, then this scene would look so romantic.

But the progress is nice.

I was massaging her head which was paining due to the alcohol.

I was busy doing so, that I didn't realize that it's been two hours I was massaging her head.

More likely my hands were moving while I was busy looking at her.

She's the most beautiful woman on the earth. And mine.

It feels so good that finally we're getting along. If this continues, I'm sure one day or the other, she'll also fall in love with me and we'll have our ever after.

She moved a little in sleep which made me notice that she has woken up.

"Good morning." I wished as she woke up and sat in front of me.

She first blinked a few times, then glanced at the wall clock before replying "It's evening now."

"I know, but you just woke up after sleeping the last night, so it's morning for you." I explained, the typical explanation, which my mom used to give me whenever I woke up late.

"Hmm.. Makes sense." She replied.

"So shall I freshen up first and then you do and then we can check out?" She asked while I nodded my head.

"But why are we leaving in the evening? We can check out next morning too." She suggested.

"I know, but I've got a surprise for you." I said and she looked at me with astonished expression.

"Surprise?" She asked and I nodded in agreement.

"For me?" She asked, pointing at herself.

"Yes my dear wife, for you." I said joining my hands, bowing to her to which she giggled before going to the bathroom.

We have checked out and finally in the car. Thankfully, I'm driving, while she's sitting quietly looking at the scene and me looking at her.

Only for few seconds, when I see that the road's clear. I'm not being an irresponsible driver.

"Arjun, when we'll reach the surprise?" She asked in desperate tone which made me smile.

She's so cute!

"We'll reach in half an hour. Look around till the time, the road's beautiful." I replied and continued to focus on the road.

"You know what? You're sounding like my dad. " She said and I gasped looking at her with a offended expression.

"Why so?"

"Because your words just now, sounded exactly like my dad." She said and giggled.

"So you mean to say that I'm like your dad. That's great. You know the typical definition, every girl finds the qualities of her father in her husband." I said and she stopped her giggling and looked at me first in shock and then with an amusing smile.

"That's what I was thinking, where is my typical cliche and cringe Arjun?" I looked at her with surprise.

Not because she called me cringe and cliche but she referred to me as my Arjun.

Can you all think how exciting it is?

"Anyways, how much time more?" She asked  getting impatient.

"Just two minutes." I replied and continued to drive straight before stopping at one particular place.

My surprise.

"This is the surprise. " I said pointing at the Roadside Dhaba.

When Krisha didn't reply for a moment, I looked at her side to see she has already left.

"Oh my god, this is such a great surprise." She said hugged me.

Ok, this is the best surprise.

"But who told you about this?" She asked while we were entering.

"Who else? My one and only messenger, your dear sister, Kriti." I said to which she laughed.

"You know I used to love this place like anything, when I was young our family would always come here. They have the best food, it was my parents' favourite then it became my favorite, but..." She said sounding all happy, but got silent at the end.

"Your Ex said that it's cheap and non classy for you to come here and you never did after that." I said and she nodded while sulking her head.

"Your ex was clearly an idiot." I said to lighten up her mood.

"I know right! That's why he is my Ex." She said, her sadness all disappeared.

"And I am?" I asked, with a joking tone.

"You're the best. That's why you are my present. " She said.

I was in no mood to write and update due the amount of unfollows, which made me really sad, but then I remembered about the ones who truly love this story, so wrote this part.
