Chapter Two

Forever Yours

Song for the chapter- Like I Do by Fireboy DML

A/N: Am I the only one that agrees that Fireboy has sick beats?

Andrew's POV

Fear.

It creeps into your entire system and demobilizes you. When Victoria first brought the idea of us eloping, I thought maybe her parents didn't want us to get married but it did sound ridiculous, they've been shipping us from the very first day they knew we were dating years ago.

Until she told me that her parents -I personally think it's her dad because her mum would never allow such- told her she was getting married to some guy I thought it was just a slight issue that could be resolved with both our families sitting together to talk.

I immediately agreed with her when her words hit me and I knew that we needed to act fast. I should have dissapeared with her before going over to my parents house because the words they spoke to me made me realize that shit can hit the fan in a matter of seconds.

"I'll be right back," I kissed Riya as we stepped into my parents house.

"Dad?" I called when I got to his office and knocked slightly before entering.

"Andrew," he said in that voice of his that screamed. I'm in business mode. "Do you have plans with Victoria tonight? If you do cancel it, we need you at home."

Mum who was standing by the left of his desk with arms crossed shook her head. "You need him," she corrected.

"Kate," dad warned, sending her a glare. "Anyways, you're having dinner with us, an investor is coming over with his daughter."

My eyebrows furrowed and the full weight of everything hit me like a ton of bricks. "I'm not stupid dad, what are you trying to do?"

He stood up and made his way to me, "it's just for a matter of time and if life permits, maybe longer."

I looked at mum, "you're joking right?"

"I've told your dad several times but he's just stupid," she rolled her eyes and began to walk towards dad and I. She pushed dad away and wrapped her arms around my shoulder, pulling me away from dad and leaning closer to my ear. "Please tell me you've proposed to her, or even thought of it."

My eyes widened and I knew what she was doing and where she stands in this. I nodded, "I asked her last night." I kept my voice as low as she did.

"Go upstairs to your room, in the bottom drawer of your desk, there is a brown envelope, take it and I don't want to see your face until you have kids." She pulled me to a hug and I wrapped my arms around her. "I don't think your dad or Victoria's is going to have sense till God knows when so until then, disappear." She patted my back and pulled away from the hug and planted a kiss on my forehead and gave me a knowing smile.

I looked at dad, keeping my face as neutral as possible, "I'll be at the dinner dad."

He nodded and I left the office, heading straight for my room. Like mum had said an envelope was there so I took it and left the room. On my way downstairs I opened it and the first things I noticed were two flight tickets to LA. God I love my mum.

Riya wasn't in the living room so I checked the kitchen and I found Mike sitting there. "Have you seen Riya?"

He nodded and pointed to the backyard door. I pulled him to a hug and patted his back. He protested but I don't expect him to understand, I don't know when I'll get the chance to see him again.

When I stepped out to the backyard, Riya was standing a few feet away so I wove her over and when she was by my side I draped my hands over her shoulder and whispered in her ear, "we're getting on the next flight to LA."

She stopped walking for a second but my arm around her got her to continue walking. She wove a goodbye to Mike before we both walked out of the house.  When we got to my car and we were both seated with our seat belts on, I gave her the envelope. She opened it and took out its contents.

"Two flight tickets to LA, an address, a phone number..." Riya started and from my side view I could see her opening up a piece of paper. "And a letter," she finished.

"What does the letter say?"

She started reading.

'Andrew And Victoria

We don't want to make this look like some farewell letter even though it kind of is but the point is, the reasonable parents in both families have decided it's best both of you leave the country and get married as soon as possible. We never wanted to rush both of you into anything but if this is what it has to come to so be it.

By now you must both know your dad's are planning on marrying both of you out to strangers, Victoria especially. Very stupid of your fathers and as submissive wives, we have no say in this so we're doing the best we can do which is sending both of you away for as long as possible.

If you haven't thought that far, it's because both companies are struggling, financially, and the investors who just happen to have kids your age have a lot of money and are willing to help on the condition that our kids marry theirs. Like I said, Victoria especially. For Andrew, you may not need to marry the daughter of the investor, all your dad wants you to do at first us to 'keep the young girl company'   since she has really bad luck in men. It really doesn't make sense if Riya married some guy and Andrew is left alone, it's unfair to both of you.

You've struggled and fought for each other for so long so we're not letting your father's hasty and unreasonable decisions spoil what you have so it's sad but we're letting you guys go. If you decide to not stay in LA, it's fine, just be discreet and careful and even if you get caught wherever, make sure you're married by then and preferably with kids on the way or already on ground. If this works out, make sure you have all your sweet memories on video so we can get to see it sometime.

When you get to LA, get to the address and call that number, she'll help you if you need anything. If you can, try to reach us when you arrive so we'll know you're safe. Remember you're both loved.

Kate and Sade.'

A tear slipped from my eyes and I quickly wiped it off, if I'm feeling this way, how would Victoria feel? I looked at her and she was wiping her eyes furiously and she sniffed.

"Why?" She folded the paper back and shoved it back into the envelope. "Why can't things just work out for both of us?"

I didn't know how to answer that question because I really don't know the answer. "It'll all work out Riya," I reached for her hand on her lap and held unto it, squeezing lightly to let her know that I was always here. "It's me and you, everything's going to be fine."

It's hard for me to believe my own words but I sucked it up and worked with that for both of us. I love this woman and nothing is going to separate us, no fucking thing.

E sure for you, baby I'm going nowhere...

Silent readers, just hit that star down there, nothing going to happen to you, you'll just make me happy, really happy :)
