1. Scenting :

Scenting is more like cheek kissing in human society.  A wolf will rub his face to another's wolf's neck to leave his scent on his mate. Its subtle act of claiming. Approved by packs as formal claiming.

It's a way for younger wolves to stake claim at their mate, so other unmated wolves know they are taken.

Real act of claiming is done after attaining age of 18, it involves mating bite, which most prefer to give during mating since the bite triggers heat anyway.

Scenting can be done by any wolf who recognised his wolf first, irespective of his secondary gender status.

An omega can theoretically scent an alpha but generally the dominant wolf makes claim first and his partner follows.

2. Wolfsbane :

a flowering plant with lilac coloured flowers which secrets white milky substance that on touched by bare hands burns wolf's skin.

3. KIN :

Group of wolves (generally five) from moon trive who come to pledge their loyalty to royals. They are dedicated to their charge and bonded by blood oath.

If their charge dies, they avenge him/her and die.

4. DUANG and SELENE :

Original moon tribe divided in to two factions after moon blessed's death. Duang and Selene.

Selene wolves do not pledge themselves anymore to royals. But they follow moon blessed's way of life. They took to healing and leaded secluded life. Earning by selling healing potions.

By the treaty, No other wolf can come in to selene lands, or it would be called a break and Selene will be in right to kill them or keep them prisoner. With time people forgot existence of Selene.

Now only Duang tribe is known as moon tribe.

5. MATING :

While wolves aren't as conservative or orthodox as before and Current King Aroon is liberal and modern thinker.

In wold society, mating of an alpha man and omega woman or omega man and alpha woman is considered ideal.

Strong male omega is favoured as mates wolf chiefs since they believe Strong omega males give birth to stronger alphas.

But omega male pregnancy are risky and many a times life threatening.

Most frowned upon couples are Alpha– Alpha and Omega—omega couples. Since they defy the traditional norms of alpha providing food and security and omega providing nourishment and stability to pack.
