Chapter 17

He can see me

Plus Size Prisoner of Society

Date of entry: 7.28.23

The way he is staring at me

Does he know it makes me happy?

His gaze is intense

I'm getting the sense

That we will both get lost at sea

The depths of the sea are in his eyes

A storm is brewing deep inside

My curves are the waves

He seems pretty brave

His gaze travels down to my thighs

My insecurities take hold

He says things I've never been told

His thoughts are the storm

His thoughts they take form

And the tempest starts to unfold

Our eyes lock, his stare, deep and true

I try to hide, he's quick to undo

He stares at my face

Not one doubt in place

"No one's as beautiful as you"

My stretch marks lay under his hand

He held them like that was the plan

He cherished them all

He made me feel small

Treating me like I'm high in demand

"I've been thinking about you all day"

"You make me forget what to say"

His whispers were sweet

Swept me off my feet

"Forever in my arms, you can stay"

Would I fit better if I were thin?

In the dark, the thoughts, they pour in

He pulls me in tight

He changes my sight

I now got him under my skin

In his eyes it's not "want" it's "need"

He has no problem taking the lead

My weight? No problem

Nothing will stop him

From my deepest fears, I am freed

Lost at sea, but lost together

Attached, no matter the weather

My body he craves

Each wave after wave

I could bask in his love forever

Caught up in his words and his touch

For us big girls, we don't need much

No love has been made

Just the words we'd say

Small things like compliments and such

Believe me your words will go far

Those words can take us beyond the stars

Words once tore us down

Then you came around

Making me forget all the scars

This love is exciting and new

How do I mean so much to you?

To you I'm not fat

I'm not this or that

I'm someone you'd like to pursue

All should have this love in their radar

Never settling for subpar

Everyone should feel

The love that's this real

Being accepted for who they are
