The usual members, at the usual family restaurant. I was having a glass of wine with the people I wanted to call “usual”, although it was so long ago that I couldn’t call any of them usual anymore.

Shinobu, Midori, Paa san, and Hikari.  It’s been a long time since we’re gathered together. I guess that’s what everyone wanted to talk about. But today, anyway.

“Paa san ! Congratulations on making the Anime !”

I wanted to celebrate the best news in recent days.

“Anime, huh…….,I wasn’t aiming for it. Hahaha !”

The 37 year old man who’s easy to understand, but I’ll let him get drunk at least for today. Even for Paa san who’s still suffering in another timeline.

“Hikari……you did it.”

He always wanted to be a Mangaka, even 10 years ago. In another timeline, Paa san has continued to work hard even now. However, the entertainment world is not so naive as to think that just guessing a genre is enough to make a hit. The basis of the success is undoubtedly Paa san’s efforts for more than 10 years. That’s why I’m happy for him. I want to congratulate him from the bottom of my heart. But first.

It’s a long-awaited reunion, but there was someone I wanted to clean up first, so I left the family restaurant. ……It’s raining. I forgot to bring an umbrella. They were all drunk, so they took a taxi.

I called out to the guy who was soaking wet from the rain. He is someone I met when Paa san’s manga was made into an anime. He’s not exactly famous yet, but still, he’s made it to the point where he can do the theme song for the anime, even though he hasn’t done it for less than 10 years. ……I really can’t compete with this guy.

“Why did you start playing guitar, Daiki?”

“….Because I wanted to win against you.”

No matter how far you go, you will always be confronted with the difference in talent. And there’s no doubt that we’re brothers.
