Travis’s POV

Where the hell is that girl? A low growl ripped through my chest as I finally caught her scent, but there was other’s mixed with it.

I let a shiver run though my body but fought myself from shifting.

I jogged through the orchard following my nose.

“Are you alright, Hannah?” I her heard ask.

Once I realized the other scents were Felix and Hannah I was able to calm down.

I through into the clearing and they were all standing up from grass.

“Julie,” I sighed.

She turned and smirked at me, “Hey there.”

“Where have you been? I have been looking for you everywhere,” I grumbled lowly.

“Oh, don’t get so worked up,” She rolled her eyes at me but stepping into me as I wrapped my arm around her.

“Hey, Travis,” Hannah watched me carefully. There was something different about her and when I watch how timid she looked I finally understood.

“You told her?” I gasped looking to Felix and then Julie.

“Yes, I decided it was time,” He nodded his hand wrapped around Hannah’s.

I couldn’t help but smile. I was happy he was happy. He needed a girl like Hannah to kick his butt in shape.

“I can’t believe you and Dawn kept it from me for so long,” Hannah complained.

Julie, Felix and I looked at each other awkwardly.

“Hannah, Dawn doesn’t know,” Felix looked down at her.

“What?” She gasped. “Why not?”

“Tony doesn’t want her to know,” Julie stated plainly.

“He’s being completely selfish about it,” Felix growled.

“Don’t act like you understand what he is going through,” I growled at Felix getting angry at his attitude.

Hannah gasped.

“Don’t act like you do either,” Julie smirked. “I didn’t exactly put up a struggle when you marked me,” She smirked pushing herself back into me.

A low growl rumbled through my chest uncontrollably and she reacted approvingly, “Yeah, well I have been struggling ever since.” The constant want for her hand my wolf on the edge of taking over constantly and it was all because of my little sex kitten of a mate.

“Is that what the mate bond is like?” Hannah suddenly asked.

I looked back up at them shocked. I had totally forget they were there.

“Not all the time,” Julie tried to step away from me but I gripped her hips tighter and pulled her back up against me with a low warning growl against her mark. “Just most of the time,” She sighed and I could almost see her roll her eyes.

“Oh,” Hannah studied us.

“There is more than just the physical though,” Julie explained. “It is deeply emotional also.” Julie’s hand mover across the arm I had wrapped around her waist. “Like if Travis feels strong emotion such as rage, hate,” She paused and looked over her shoulder meeting my eyes, “love, and passion.” She took in a deep breath closing her eyes. After a moment’s pause she turned back to Hannah, “I will feel them too, coursing through my veins as if they were my own. It’s more than just sex and fooling around. It’s a special and unique bond that makes two separate beings literally become one in mind, body and soul.” She closed her eyes again and then leaned back into me opening her neck for me.

The way she talked about the bond made me want to take her right then and there just to prove how much two could become one. My wolf was so close to the surface as it was and when he saw his mark he nearly took over. I leaned in and pressed my lips to the sensitive skin.

Julie purred and her knees gave out, but I held her so tight against my body that she didn’t fall.

“Is that the mark?” Hannah stepped up to Julie and me reaching out.

“No, Hannah!” Felix tried to stop her but it was too late.

I lifted my mouth from Julie’s skin and growled threatening at Hannah baring my teeth.

Julie gasped and woke up from her haze. Hannah gasped and jumped back into Felix.

I knew my eyes where the eyes of my wolf and she looked scared. I want to gain control and apologize, but I couldn’t.

“Travis,” Julie growled over my still constant growl towards Hannah.

“Hannah, he didn’t mean to scare you,” Felix was speaking calmly in her ear. “Right now Travis is a little more his wolf than he would like to be.”

“Travis, let go! Get a hold of yourself,” Julie clawed at my arm.

“Julie is his property and he doesn’t like when other’s touch his property,” Felix was trying to explain in the most simple and animalistic ways and then he said something that shocked even my wolf, “It’s like I would never want anyone to touch you.”

Hannah finally looked away from my eyes and to Felix. She slowly nodded.

Julie huffed frustrated my with my iron grip around her waist. “You better just go so that I can calm him down,” She sighed annoyed.

“Sounds like a good idea,” Felix sighed wrapping his arm around Hannah, “Thanks for the help, Julie.”

“No problem,” She smiled.

And then they walked off.

“Travis, I swear to God you better let me go,” She growled going back to struggling.

Now that the “threat” was gone I was totally prepared to let my wolf do what he wished.

So suddenly I had Julie pinned up against the nearest tree.

She was shocked by this sudden movement and her breath was coming a little faster. Then she looked up and met my eyes and a slow smirked appeared on her lips.

Before I lean in a bite her neck like I so wanted to do she reached her neck out and nibbled and licked the soft part of my neck.

A low satisfied growl rumbled through my chest as I relaxed into her closing my eyes.

Then it was gone. The biting and her body. Shock I looked around a menacing growl already beginning in the back of my throat.

I found her swaying her hips and walking away from me.

“Stop!” I demanded in a growl.

“Not until you start acting like a civilized human being,” She turned on me.

“Submit to me,” I demanded stalking up to her.

She scoffed, “Yeah, right sweet thing. You and your wolf know I don’t do well with orders.” She smirked and took the last couple of steps towards me and leaned into me put her lips to my ear, “Show me what you want from me, Wolf boy,” She nibbled on my ear and I obeyed taking her to the ground and sinking my teeth into her mark.

She moaned out happily.

I pulled out and released her neck rolling away from her. I had so much adrenaline pumping through my veins. That was the worst part. I never seem to be tired after sex I just want more . . . needed more. It wasn’t like Julie couldn’t satisfy me. It was more like she was too satisfying and I began to crave the high I got from being with her to the point where I always needed it.

She rolling over straddling me sensing how tense I was.

She leaned in and nibbled on my neck rubbing herself against me and purring.

“Jesus, Julie,” I growled from pleasure. “You are going to drive me insane.”

“That’s the idea,” She nipped at my chin, then she sat up smirk at me. “Then bend you to my every will and demand,” She leaned teasing her lips against mine.

I growled rolling over so that I was on top of her again and pressed my lips to hers moving my tongue against hers loving the taste of my beautiful mate.

Then I pulled away, “You already know I would do anything in the world for you,” I nuzzled myself into her neck.

She purred rubbing her body against mine, “Oh, I know,” She breathed.

I pulled away from her neck and laid my head against her chest listening to her heart beat.

I did this a lot a never one of us knew why . . . I guess it just calmed me, knowing that my one true love was here and safe with me.

She simply ran her fingers through my hair softly.

“I love you,” She breathed.

“I love you too,” I smiled wrapping my arms around her.

“I hate to ruin a moment but we need to move this to your room or something, Lover,” She kissed the top of my head.

“No,” I complained nestling myself into her and holding her tightly to me.

“Travis,” She laughed pulling at my hair.

I didn’t budge.

“We can’t just lay out her in the open . . . all naked for everyone to see,” She laughed. “That gorgeous body of yours is for my eyes only.”

“Fine,” I grumbled rolling off of her.

She laughed and stood.

Suddenly she gasped, “Travis!”

Instantly I was up in a crouch growling threateningly at whatever the incoming threat was.

“Oh calm down,” She slapped my shoulder. “I was talking about this!” She complained.

I stood and turned to her, “What?” I said confused looking at the scraps in her hands.

“Travis!” She growled. “This used to me my favorite pair of jeans!” She snapped.

Suddenly I broke down laughing.

“Shut up, you impatient jerk!” She slapped the back of my head and I fell to the ground still laughing. “Fine, you wanna keep laughing?” She smirked down at me, “Then I guess I will just walk through the pack house like this.” She through the scraps at me and walked away bare assed naked.

I instantly had her up against a tree and growled down at her, “To hell you will.”

“That’s what I thought,” She smirked.

I sighed and picked up my button up shirt wrapping it around her shoulders. She put her arms through the wholes and I buttoned it up for her letting my fingers trail across her bare skin.

“Better,” I breathed.

“I guess,” She rolled her eyes.

I slipped on my jeans buttoning them up and doing my belt. I picked up the rest of her scraps and then picked her up and ran back to the pack house all he way through and to my room where I tossed her on the bed. I then climbed in with her.

“You bed is much more comfortable anyways, Lover,” She smirked kissing my neck then down my chest as her hands worked to un do my pants again.

“Hey, remember the nonphysical part of the bond,” I laughed at her eagerness.

She propped her chin on my chest and pouted, but I like the physical part. It’s so much fun.”

“Trust me, sex kitten,” I smirked my pet name for her as her eyes lit up like they always did when I used it, “I like it too.”

She moved her lips back to mine and then sat up straddling me.

“I want Tony to just claim Dawn already. I want her to be healthy and happy like I am with you. I want her to finally get what she deserves. She deserves this, Travis,” Julie complained.

“Julie, I know. I want this for Tony too. You think I don’t? He’s practically my brother and my best friend and he’s had it pretty hard lately. I want me to be happy too, but it is up to him to decided when and if he and Dawn are ready. Just because you were ready and willing when I first found you does not mean everyone is,” I smirked.

“Well, I guess everyone can’t have such a sexy and strong mate as I do. If they did then they would be dying to be mated to them,” She smiled pressing hers lips to mine gently.

“I don’t know what I would have done if I didn’t find you, Julie. You know how  they say ‘I didn’t know I was missing part of me until I found you’. Well, that’s not true with me. I knew it was missing and I craved it every day. I want to feel complete and happy and whole. For the longest time I thought I didn’t have a mate and then I found you . . . so completely by accident, and I have never felt more than when I am with you, touching you, kissing you, inside of you. Julie, if I were to ever lose you . . .” A low growl rumbled through my chest, “I would lose myself and I don’t know what I would do,” I shook my head.

Julie took my head in her hands, “I’ve only just found you, Travis,” She looked seriously into my eyes. “I don’t ever want to here talk about losing you. You got that?” She nodded. “Never. I wouldn’t live through it.”

“Got it,” I breathed and she pressed her lips to mine.

I gave over to her again but soon, as the sun set outside my window we fell asleep in each other’s arms.
