The Alpha of the Rogues sat behind his desk smirking to himself as he

waited for his minions to bring him the good news. It's getting dark

again on the next day and none of them has returned “things must

have gone right this time” he thought to himself.

His fingers brushing his after shaved beardless chin. The door swung

open and in walk one of his warriors with his head in a bow.

His eyes lit in delight "what good news you brought now?" the warrior

didn't speak.

The rogues Alpha stood up "tell me" the warrior looks up to his Alpha

with fear in his eyes. He was afraid to let him know that they have failed

again.

"Tell me" he growls at him "we lost-" the warrior didn't finish his words

as the Alpha bit on his neck before tearing the poor man up.

"Zane"

He calls to his beta as he wipes off the blood from his mouth feeling

disgusted with the warrior's blood taste.

His right-hand man came in and he avoided looking on the ground at

the body.

"Tell me, how we fail this time? Why do we keep on failing?" Zane

without nervous answer him, it was like he was used to his Alpha and

King to turn out this way.

"Alpha Dante's Beta and brother were there today along with other

masks people I assumed are his best warriors. Alpha those people came

out of nowhere, their skills were hard to determine”

"and Dante?" he sneers at him; still Zane doesn't flinch he just looks

straight at his Alpha's eyes.

"He was the one who outnumbered the Hunters and kills our 100

wolves" this made the Alpha king growl louder with furious.

"Impossible, that son of a bitch still gets on my nerves, any other

possible ways" he growls at Zane again.

"We could attack the neutral territory from there we can take over

except for Dante's territory,” he gritted his teeth "what about the

council?"

"According to some of the report from our insiders, the members of the

council are too weak to attack as their territories are heavily damaged

due to our attack last month.”

The Alpha King of the Rogues laugh "good, now that's more like it.

Make sure to plan another attack as soon as possible. This time I want

to target the other side of the neutral territory. Oh how I love riling

these bastards" he smiles then walks towards Zane stopping an inch

away from him.

"Any update on that mutt Kiev and the girl?" he asks. Zane stood there

in silence "did you find out why Dante shows up everywhere she goes.

Did you confirm her as his Mate?"

"Alpha he is a friend with her brother in law and according to our

sources the Alpha kinda has feelings for her but no she’s not his Mate,"

Zane who was unsure whether what he said was true or not nervously

answer him this time.

The Alpha held a smug look on his face "interesting, I didn't take him to

be a softie. I made a right move on her didn't I?" he grins evilly "can’t

wait for her to be mine” he mutters reminiscing on the day when she

was being introduced to him “oh how he wanted that moment to own

her’ his wolf purr “too bad that bitch ruin it."

Snarling out loud he turns to Zane “what about the other whore? Did

she tries to escape?” Zane nodded his head

"no Alpha she didn't"

"Excellent, now call that mutt Kiev to be here in my office and clean this

up,”

"will do so Alpha.”

The alpha sat back down to his desk smiling to himself his thoughts

repeating the words he aims to achieve after he defeated everyone

especially Dante. “Oh poor Dante he'll never know what's coming in his

way" he kept on smiling to himself.

"just so you wait Dante, everything will be revealed and you will beg for

your life."

After servants coming in and going out the door opens again and Kiev

came inside.

"Where is the girl I ask you to look after?” he asks "she's at my home

sleeping” the alpha slams his hand on the desk "you slept with her" his

hands pointing at him with accuse.

Kiev cowers a little bit back "relax Alpha we didn't do anything she just

needed a place to stay for the night.”

The alpha move too quickly in front of him his hand around his throat

"The last time I gave you a mission you ended up spreading our preys

legs instead of me doing that" Kiev tap on his hand. “You think you can

get away that easily Kiev,” he watches his face gone pale.

"Alpha" he struggled to breathe, seeing the helpless look he finally let

go.

"I swear Alpha I won't touch or seduce her not this time" he coughs up

"much better because if you do I'll never let you see another day. I have

made a promise to remove you but it will only happen if you betray

me"

The Alpha went and sat back behind his desk on his luxury armchair, he

gets out the money and threw it to him, landing it on the floor

everywhere.

"You do your job right this time if you ever break the deal I'll make sure

to make your death painful. Are we understood?”

"Yes Alpha" Kiev collected the money on the floor before going back to

his apartment with the Alpha King's last words to him “remember, she’s

mine.”
