'I am your nightmare, your beautiful nightmare’

He sneers at her the whole time he was at their house, even talk about

how Carla and he loves each other.

It became worst when Cameron and Laura went up to ready the kids.

Dante moves too fast in front of her his hand almost breaking her wrist.

Taunting her to accept the rejection or he'll continue appearing in her

nightmares like the children’s boogie man or even better Freddie and

Jason.

Even though Daniella felt like throwing the white towel in his arena yet

her wolf was there to encourage her to be strong and not to give up

solidifying her refusal to accept the rejection in order to break the

bond.

Days pass and Dante never fails to keep his promise of tormenting her.

Daniella became exhausted of him showing up everywhere she goes

even when she was looking for a job Dante is always there with Carla in

his arms. He also has the decency to show up at a cafe near his territory

where she found a new job.

It was like he knew where she was heading to and every time she told

herself that she is going to start a new day, new life Dante always pop

up to give her a reminder of her past.

Today was one of those days, and she hated him for it. Yet she refuses

to accept his rejection as it will only mean he won. She didn't want to

be the sore loser in his game.

"Umm miss you forgot my change”

She turns up to find a bubbly young female with raven hair and hazel

eyes which caught much attention of the unmated wolves in the cafe.

“I'm sorry"

she apologizes handing her 100-dollar change to her "it's just that" she

tries to look away from Dante who was sitting at the corner table with

Carla. Their hands entwine together and they look in love together.

"He's a catch right?” the young she-wolf beams and Daniella turn back

to the female in front of her

"I'm sorry who?" Daniella was confused

She-wolf extended out her delicate hand to her "I'm Cora" she smiles.

Her wolf didn't feel threatened by her so she shook hers in return

“I'm Daniella, nice meeting you" she half-smile.

The doorbell ring she saw the beta coming inside then stood beside

Cora

"Hey," he says to Cora who blushes aside.

"So where is that bro-"

Cora coughs loudly not for Daniella to hear. Her eyes signally to Jem

aside. She didn't want her to know that Dante is her brother as it will

ruin a chance of her being her friend given her brother's history.

She also admires Dani's beauty and seeing her stare at her brother she

wished she was his Mate and her sister in law to be instead of Allen's

sister Carla. “Alexis’ wasn't even a perfect match for her brother but this

one could be the one, Cora kept on thinking.

The girl surely loves to do matchmaking for werewolves couple as if she

is the moon goddess herself.

Sometimes she complains to the moon goddess in her prayers for

mismatching people. Like when Kyle turns out not to be her mate but

some idiot who refuse to acknowledge their bond even though he’s not

rejecting her.

Jem look confused for a minute then turn in front of them to find

Daniella. He remembers her from the night of the Treaty with the

Crescent pack.

"oh hey, I know you, the waiter from Gustav's Catering and Restaurant

right"

Daniella smile, she wishes that instead of saying to a waiter how about

a compliment like "you're the girl whom I stalk that night’ she thought

with sarcasm.

"correct in fact, that was before... now I work here.”

Cora watches Jem face turn red even though she felt jealous a little but

she knew Daniella is innocent here so she said with a sarcastic "oh look

who's blushing, I never thought I won't see the day our bet,” he clamps

his hand on her mouth and reach out his other hand to Daniella

"Jem."

"Nice meeting you Jem, Daniella”

Another guest arrived she turn to find the look-alike Jem with his

girlfriend then follow by Alpha Allen. He nods in her way then to Cora

and Jem

"Hey Cora, Jem! where's the Alpha?" Cora turns to point at Dante's and

Carla's table at the corner. They started walking there

"hi" Alpha Allen wave his hand at her

"Alpha" she responded formally. Daniella didn't want to be rude as he

was an Alpha but there was something behind Allen's smiles and eyes

which people could tell it's another story as he already made his motive

clear to Dante that he wanted Daniella to be his luna but nobody else.

In order to have her his luna, he would do anything in his will power to

make her his even though she might be belonging to another male

wolf. He is ready to kill that bastard before he gets to meet her. Of

course, nobody knew the inner turmoil going through Allen's head

even the plan of his.

"I'll see you around Dani" Cora gave her a big grin waving goodbye

before going with Jem and the others. She sighs under her breath "this

is not good"

Her day was already ruin by the sight of the lovesick couple. When they

were done Dante never fails to hurt her again by kissing Carla in front

of her in which she rolls her eyes in return and continues to do her

work.

The cafe closes everyone has already gone home. Daniella looks on her

wristwatch and saw 7:45 pm. She mops the floor before going out.

Smiling to herself she tries to forget Dante and other things. Taking a

deep breath, she smelt a corpse stale which she wanted to throw up as

she was breathing in the disgusting smell.

Cursing under her breath wishes that she didn't take in that smell.

Growls and snarls were heard and when she turned to go two wolves

emerged from the woods both in blood and they fought brutally. She

wanted to move or rather help but she didn't know which is the good

one. Also, there were no houses or any other work near this cafe.

Another piercing growl was heard she turn to find a big brown wolf in

blood howling at her. His smell was so bad, that instead of running

away she froze.

Daniella has only shifted once; she has a strength in human due to her

wolf presence but she hasn't shifted again after her first shift. She

barely survived her first shift due to her body being weak and her being

traumatized by her past.

The wolf as if he's grinning snarl once more before running in her

direction, her heart exhilarated the normal heartbeat.

Her eyes widen then close waiting for her death as her body fails to

move "oh moon goddess" she prays.
