The Brown Tale ✓

Happy 35k reads *kisses*

AUTHOR'S POV:

Zaviyaar picked up the paper, he straightened the paper as it was crushed and he started to read it.

"Okay, so I don't know where to start, but I never imagined getting this attached to you. I never imagined that it would be this hard to live without you. I crave your presence. As the days went by I could feel myself falling for you. Whenever I think about you I find myself blushing or smiling. Your smile, don't even get me started on it. How much I love it. The butterflies in my stomach fight for their life whenever I hear your voice.

The effect you had on me is not explainable. The way you've always put effort into our marriage. I'm so grateful for that. I'm out of words but I'll speak more when you will in front of me. I wish you could hear my heartbeat. I never knew that I would fall in love with you. Yes, Mister husband your Sweetheart has fallen in love with you. So in love that she can't wait for you to return so she's coming to your office and making you food I love you. And I'm ready to give our marriage a chance,"

Zaviyaar didn't even notice he was crying, tears falling from his eyes when he finished reading her confession. He folded the paper and put it into his wallet as if he wanted to keep it with him all his life.

"She was about to confess," he said to no one but himself.

He starts the car and decides to go back home but her words start ringing in her.

"YOU CHEATED ON ME. YOU CHEATED ON YOUR SWEETHEART. JUST LEAVE ME,"

Her words made him lose himself. This was breaking his heart. The words echoing in his ears made him stop from going back to her. Aaliyana had done wrong she said whatever was coming into her mouth she didn't think before speaking. Zaviyaar was heartbroken. She should've trusted him. Zaviyaar, who loves Aaliyana breathes and accuses him of cheating. Makes him want to end everything that exists in this world

Thinking this, rage filled his heart. He fisted his hands. Zaviyaar sped up the car's speed and started driving to nowhere in particular, as he did not know where to go or what to do to make Aaliyana believe him. The hold on the stirring wheel got tighter his knuckles turned white.

_________

Zaviyaar left the room. Aaliyana was still endeavoring to puzzle out what happened a moment ago. Did Zaviyaar leave her? Thinking this a river of tears started coming out of her eyes they weren't stopping. She was trying hard to not cry but she sensed that it was not under her authority. Her headache was getting worse as she hadn't eaten anything since morning.

"You told him to leave Aaliyana. You did," her mind gave the reality check.

Lubna's absurd words were tingling in her ears.

"You'll ruin everything by yourself,"

She wanted to stop the voice. She wanted to undo everything. She placed the palms of her hands on her ears to stop the voice but it was not helping.

AAlIYANA'S POV:

"Lubna, she was right. She was right, I destroyed everything, I made him leave without even listening to him" I cried.

Everything came to an crashing end. I felt like my world shattered when I lost Zaviyaar. He walked away from me, just as I had asked him to. The weight of his absence felt unbearable like my heart might stop beating at any moment, the pain inside me overflowed in a torrent of tears. I slowly sat down on the floor, held my chest tightly, and burst out into tears. The darkness of the room was swallowing me.

"Zaviyaar come back please," a whisper left my mouth.

'How can he just leave me like this? He just left me when I was about to confess my love for him. When I was willing to give our marriage life a chance. He has shattered me into millions of pieces and has left me to collect them by myself. I can't breathe. How could he do this to me? He should've cleared things out but instead, He left me all alone knowing how easily I can get panic attacks. I LOVED YOU ZAVIYAAR. I LOVED YOU. Come back please.'

I told him to leave. I should have listened to him.

I was startled by the sound of my phone ringing, the noise coming from a distance. Despite feeling dizzy, I managed to heave and stumble over to where my phone was lying.

I squinted at the screen and saw an unfamiliar number flashing on it. With a sense of curiosity, I answered the call. As I listened to the voice on the other end, a strange sensation crept over me, and it felt like my entire body was going numb. I struggled to respond to the person speaking to me, a sense of unease settling in. I felt knots forming in my throat, I couldn't speak. It felt as if I had lost my speaking ability.

ZAVIYAAR'S POV:

The echoes of her words reverberated in the chambers of my mind.

"Aaliyana, you really shouldn't have said those words," he whispered.

I was driving recklessly, paying no heed to the speed limit or the potential danger it posed. My thoughts were elsewhere as I heard my phone begin to ring. Taking my eyes off the road, I glanced down at the screen and noticed that it was Zayyan calling.

In that moment of distraction, a sudden burst of light momentarily transported me to a different time. When I refocused on the road, a massive truck was in front of me. I desperately tried to swerve, but my efforts were in vain. The sickening sound of the impact filled the air as my car crashed into the unforgiving metal of the truck. Then, everything faded to black.

AUTHOR'S POV:

Zaviyaar was involved in a serious car accident when his vehicle collided with a truck. The impact was so severe that his car sustained significant damage, and its condition was quite dire. The extent of the damage is such that it raises doubts about the survivability of anyone inside the car in the event of another accident.

Soon the police arrived where the accident took place the recognized the car as it had the ZAK logo on it. The scene was intense as ambulances quickly arrived to rush him to the hospital. The police officers immediately recognized him as Zaviyaar Aqib Khan and instructed the hospital staff to reach out to his family. First, they called his brother Zayyan and then his wife Aaliyana.

They were informed that Zaviyaar had been involved in a serious accident, and it was critical for them to get to the hospital as quickly as possible.

______

When Zayyan heard about the accident, he was deeply worried. He immediately thought that not only had Zaviyaar been involved in the accident, but Aaliyana might have also been affected because she was with him at the time. However, he was unsure of the specifics of what had occurred.

_______

Aaliyana was utterly incredulous at the words she had just heard. Her tears seemed to have no end in sight.

Every fiber of her being was consumed with self-blame for the events that had unfolded. She couldn't shake the feeling that it was all her fault.

"I can even lose Zaviyaar forever and it's because of me," she said.

"No no aaliyana nothing will happen to your zawiya." she calmed herself

Soon she booked a cab and left for the hospital.

Zayyan made his way to the hospital. His heart is sinking with the steps he's taking forward. He went to the reception.

"There's a patient named Zaviyaar Aqib Khan, he met an accident a few moments back," he said to the receptionist, he was worried. His color was yellow.

The receptionist nodded and took him to the doctor.

"Are you here for Zaviyaar?" the doctor asked.

Zayyan gulped and nodded.

"He's in danger. He has lost a lot of blood. Just pray everything goes well. And inform your family members and do prepare yourself for any news,"  the doctor said patting his shoulder.

Suddenly, he heard a thud, a deep, sound echoing through the quiet hospital corridor as if someone had fallen. Alarmed, he swiftly turned around to see Aaliyana, lying motionless on the cold linoleum floor. Without a moment's hesitation, he sprinted towards her, his heart racing with concern. With the assistance of the nurses, he carefully lifted Aaliyana from the ground and rushed her to the emergency ward, his mind filled with worry for her well-being.

"She has fainted maybe because she hasn't eaten anything since morning or maybe because of the stress. She'll be up within an hour or less, we have applied the drips, a nurse told Zayyan.

He was perplexed as he tried to make sense of the situation. Aaliyana appeared to be in perfect health, but Zaviyaar lay on his deathbed. The stark contrast in their conditions left him utterly bewildered. A nurse came to his view.

"The doctor is calling you," she informed Zayyan and he nodded.

"We need blood. As soon as possible." the doctor said.

He instructed them to use his blood because as brothers, they share the same blood type. The doctor told the nurse to take his blood, and Zayyan went with the nurse.

While he was in the middle of donating blood, he inadvertently overheard a conversation among the nurses in the medical facility.

"I don't think the patient will survive. Have you seen his condition?" one of the nurses said.

"Hn bohut buri halat. Baki Allah bheter kare. He must be overspeeding," the other said.

Zayyan felt like someone had stabbed him. His brother his guardian is on the death.

How will he inform this news to his parents? How will they disgust this?

He donated the blood and called Azlaan.

He picked it up within three rings.

"Zayyan, I was about to call you. I have been trying to call Zaviyaar since I don't know when. Do you know where he is?" Azlaan said on the other side of the phone. Hearing Azlaan, Zayyan couldn't control and he started crying.

"Zayyan?" Azlaan made sure he was still on the call.

"Azlaan.. wo..Zaviyaar. ..bhaii," Zayyan was able to complete his sentence.

"Kya howa Zaviyaar ko? Tum to kyu roo rahe ho?"

"Azlaan bhai ka accident hogya hai, tum Mom Dad ko bata do aur hospital ajao," he cut the call. Zayyan told him all the things while telling him he couldn't stop tears from coming out of his eyes. He told Azlaan to tell his parents as he won't be able to tell them. Now he wanted to call Malaika, and it was most difficult for him to do, as she was in another city all alone by herself. He dialed her number.

"Zayyan aj tumne kese yaad karliya," she said.

"Malaika,"

"Tum hari awaz ko kya howa hai," she sounded worried.

"Tum yahan ajao," Zayyan said.

"Kyu sab theek hai? Zayyan Mom Dad theek hai? Aaliyana aur bhai?" She enquired.

"Zaviyaar Bhai ka accident howa hai Tum ajao," Zayyan revealed.

"Tum mazak toh nhi karhe?" she said.

"Tum bas ajao," Zayyan ended the call, as he couldn't take more. He felt like all the responsibility was now on his shoulders.

He idly stared at the wall before him, he felt like everything had crashed. The memories he made with his brother were crawling into the walls of his mind. He couldn't help but cry.

He thought of how Zaviyaar supported him when he wanted to pursue his career in F1, even though Zaviyaar stood against his father to support his brother's dream and now seeing the brother he loved the most on deathbed is eating him from inside. His memory recall was broken by a nurse.

"Your brother's belongings," she handed him his wallet and a ring. He looked at it and tears formed in his eyes.

"The patient has gained consciousness," the nurse informed Zayyan while coming out of the ward where Aaliyana was admitted.

How will he tell Aaliyana about Zaviyaar's condition? More tears fell, he wiped them and he laid his foot and the ward.
