Chapter 13
Married To My Dearest Enemy by Jared Mandel
Chapter 13
Audrey became a little speechless after hearing those words. She then said after a short pause, âThere are a lot of ways you can get revenge on me. Why do you have to use such a method with losses outweighing the gains? You can let me lose my job and let me be laughed at by others. You can alsoâ¦â
âDo you want to try?â Tyler interrupted her again.
âTry what?â
âBeing laughed at by others like a laughingstock.â

I say anything. Tyler added, âSince itâs your request, I think I can
make the arrangements.â
The car suddenly sped up and weaved through the traffic. This caused Audrey to swallow the words she was about to say.
Looking at the side of the manâs face, Audrey felt that he was a little mad.
After recalling what she had just said, she felt that there wasnât anything wrong with the words she had said. Audrey didnât understand why Tyler was pissed so suddenly.
The car quickly stopped outside Dreamwood.
Tyler got out of the car, walked to the passenger side, and pulled Audrey out of the car.
âWhy have you brought me here?â
âFulfilling your wish.â
Audrey was rendered speechless.
When Tyler brought Audrey into the private room, she realized the people inside were the people from last time.
Seeing Tyler bringing Audrey inside, no one dared to be sarcastic again.
After what happened last time, no one present could tell what attitude Tyler had toward Audrey.
That night, Tyler was on a killing spree, but he didnât let Audrey lose even once. He didnât even let Amelia win. One could tell that Tyler didnât really hate Audrey.
Some people even felt that Tyler was protecting Audrey that night.
Tyler left Audrey on her own after entering the room. He found a seat and sat down by

himself.
Seeing that no one moved, Tyler looked at everyone present indifferently. âWhy are you all looking at me? Carry on.â
After saying those words, he pointed at Audrey. âIâve brought someone to serve you guys. Order her around however you like.â
Tylerâs words stunned everyone once again. No one knew what Tyler was doing.
Everyone was curious. Finally, someone couldnât help but ask, âCan we really order her around however we like?â
Tyler looked at the person who asked the question. âWhat? Donât you know how to order someone around?â
As soon as he said those words, he raised his head and looked at Audrey. âCome here and serve them alcohol.â
Tylerâs actions didnât make Audrey feel angry. On the contrary, she felt he was a little childish.
She finally knew what caused Tyler to be mad at her.
She walked up cooperatively and poured a glass of wine for Tyler. She even picked up the glass and placed it in front of him.
Tyler took the wine glass and ordered with a cold face, âFill their glasses as well and serve them well.â
Audrey stood up and filled everyone elseâs wine glass.
âWhat the hellâs going on? You outdrank everyone that night. You know the reason, so I wonât remind you.
Tyler wobbled the wine glass in his hand. âWhat reason? Werenât you the one who reminded me how badly she treated me in the past?â
âThatâs not what I meantâ¦â
âWasnât it?â âTyler looked at Audrey. âHow was she able to stay alive until today â
âDonât ask me. Iâm not her parent.â
In a corner, a couple of people were discussing in a quiet voice. âWhat the hellâs going on? Whatâs the meaning of this? Can we do what we want to her or not?â
âHave you forgotten what he did last time?â

âYou were drunk as well, werenât you?â With that said, the person looked at Audrey, who was serving the wine. âDoes Tyler want us to teach her a lesson?â
âHave you forgotten what happened last time? Havenât you learned your lesson?â
âI think Tyler was pissed last time because we had beaten him to it.â
Another person felt that he had a point when he heard those words. âThatâs very likely. Tyler had paid Audrey back himself for what she had done to him in the past.â
âThatâs it. I thought Tyler suddenly had feelings for Audrey. This caused me to live in fear for the past few days.â
âWhat are you scared of?â
âAre you not scared? Tyler is a very protective person. We were so taunting toward. Audrey that night. Do you think heâs going to let us off?â
This group of people might have been hanging out with Tyler quite often, but they were only hanging out with him. The only person who had a good relationship with Tyler was Christopher, who was sitting beside him. Only Christopher could be said to be Tylerâs friend.
After the others had analyzed the situation, they suddenly felt everything made sense. They also felt that their analysis was very accurate.
This caused them to not be worried anymore.
âMiss Griffin, whatâs the fun in pouring wine? How about we have a drink together?â
Audrey glanced at Tyler and nodded. âAlright, how do you guys want to drink?â
âAre we making the rules?â
Audrey nodded.
âAlright then. Letâs make things simple. Draw a card and see who has the bigger card.â
The people present were all very good with cards. It was easy for them to cheat.
Audrey had been messing around in the past as well, but she wasnât like the people in front of her.
After a few games, she was the one who lost the most.
âAre you really not going to do anything about that?â Christopher reached out and took the glass from Tylerâs hand. âIf anything happens, youâre the one whoâs going to regret your decision.â

Christopher sneered. âI heard that someone bought a piano yesterday. When did you learn to play the piano?â
With that said Christopher looked at Audrey and cocked his brows. âIf I remember correctly, Audrey was quite good at playing the piano.â
Tyler became a little annoyed. He glanced at Christopher. âDo you feel bored? Why are you sticking your nose into my business?â
âAm I? Youâre the one who forgot to block me when you posted the pictures on Twitter. Now youâre blaming me for it?â
After hearing what Christopher had said, Tylerâs face changed. He took out his phone. and took a look.
It was a good thing that he had only forgotten to block Christopher. He immediately felt relieved.
âKeep your mouth shut, or Iâll shut it for you.â
Christopher said with a smile, âLooks like someoneâs been keeping a secret. When did you fall in love?â
Tyler didnât answer Christopherâs question. His gaze landed on Audrey.
When had he fallen in love?
Tyler didnât even know the answer to that question himself.
It was probably when he saw Audrey crying pitifully on the rooftop.
Audrey was normally arrogant, overweening, and fearless, but Tyler didnât expect to see her cry
like a baby. She looked so pitiful and would make anyoneâs heart soften.
âDonât you think itâs a little inappropriate, Miss Griffin? Weâre all downing our glasses, but since your glass smaller, you should drink two to be fair, right?â
âHeâs right. How about we change to a new punishment?â
Audrey drank another glass. âIs it fair now?â
âItâs fair now,â the guy said. âThe gameâs getting a little boring. How about we switch to a new game?â
âHow about this, the loser ?â

âWhatâs the problem? You can strip off one piece of clothing, and weâll strip off two. Or we can pay you two thousand dollars for every time you lose, and weâll take off two pieces of clothing as well. Is that fair?â
The guy sounded like he was speaking on Audreyâs behalf, but in fact, he was being
sarcastic.
Audrey smiled helplessly. âItâs fair.â
After a short pause, she said, âWhat if you lose?â
