Chapter 26: I Saved Him On Your Account

Bai Chuwei’s expression altered and she changed the topic immediately. “Let me look at the phone.”

The staff was rather disappointed as it seemed that the beautiful customer’s impression of Duan Xiuqi had not changed.

She took out the phone and passed it to her.

Bai Chuwei switched on the phone and her jade-like fingers nimbly glided on the screen. The staff professionally introduced the features of this phone with utmost politeness.

Duan Feihan sat next to her. His back was straight as a pine while he quietly drank the warm water served to him. His demeanor was outstanding and elegant.

Bai Chuwei used her left hand as a chin rest. She opened the camera mode, and flipped her slightly curly hair to one side before taking a picture that looked flirty.

She then changed to another posture with her beautiful eyes staring at the screen. Her red lips were in a pout and made her seem even more coquettish, but adorable and attractive at the same time.

Bai Chuwei did not notice that the man had stopped drinking water and his pitch-back eyes, as deep as the sea, were fixated on her.

The staff stood rooted on the spot as well, when she saw Bai Chuwei taking selfies. She had used the phone’s camera without any beauty filter and every shot was flawless.

“I’ll take this.”

Bai Chuwei was rather satisfied with this phone.

The man was still staring at her. He seemed to have not heard her.

Bai Chuwei lifted her brows and smiled at Duan Feihan. Her voice was sweet and provocative when she said, “Mr Duan, please make the payment.”

Duan Feihan’s long eyelashes blinked and his pupils finally regained their focus before he faintly said to the staff, “The bill.”

The staff also replied hastily. “Would you be paying by card or via the QR code? This way, please.”

Duan Feihan stood up and followed the staff to make payments, while Bai Chuwei sat alone and fiddled around with the phone. Firstly, she changed the phone card from Bai Yinyin’s old phone. Then, she zealfully downloaded a few commonly used applications and registered a WeChat account.

“Miss Bai, your little gift.”

Bai Chuwei looked up and saw that Duan Feihan had returned with a paper bag in his hands. It was a free gift that came along with the phone.

Bai Chuwei glanced at it and said, “A cup? Mr Duan, thanks for buying me a phone, you can treat this cup as a gift from me. There’s no need to be polite.”

The cup was made of ceramic and was in the shape of a cartoonish fat hamster that looked rather adorable. Unfortunately, Bai Chuwei felt like punching a hamster whenever she saw it, so she did not take it from him.

The staff who came over to deliver the receipt: “…”

Duan Feihan smiled faintly and said, “Then I’ll have to thank Miss Bai.”

Bai Chuwei did not feel ashamed in the slightest. Based on the few needles which she inserted today, even another ten Moyun 10pro would not cover the fees!

After maintaining silence for several seconds, he slowly asked her. “In order to be able to contact you, can you give me your contact information?”

Bai Chuwei dutifully recited her phone number and a moment later, she received a friend request message on Wechat. She accepted it immediately.

After the purchase of a new phone, Duan Feihan personally drove her home and the black-colored Rolls Royce stopped somewhere near the Bai Family’s villa.

Bai Chuwei did not immediately alight and instead, she said with a smile, “Mr Duan, your father had offended me in the past and I had no intentions to save him today.”

Her delicate fingers undid the seatbelt and she turned towards him. She closed the distance between them, and came really close to his flawless handsome face. “But I saved him on your account. Hence, don’t forget the agreement between us.”
