Magnus turned to see Jana was asleep. Jana sat on the seat between him and Carl who was also asleep.

Samuel looked through the mirror to see Carles asleep and looked at Magnus who was silent.

"I still can't believe our sorry asses have such wonderful mates," said Magnus.

Samuel snorted.

"I am yet to believe half of which happened," said Samuel looking at the mating mark on him.

Magnus snorted and looked at Arth.

"I am worried I will fail him. He looks at me like I am the King of the world. That I could do no wrong. We did not really grow up with parents to do that," said Magnus.

Samuel sighed.

"You know when I saw the Kings taking care of their kids, I wished our parents had more time to attend to us too," said Samuel.

"I had you," said Magnus.

Samuel smiled.

"And you were there for me, I think its enough," said Samuel.

Then they were back home. Both got out. Clement and Ily were at the door.

"Bro" both hugged Jana and kissed on his cheek and forehead. Then they took Arth who was squealing in joy.

It was then that they noticed Carles.

Clement looked at Magnus and Jana. Then back at Carles who was standing behind Samuel.

He had met Carles before. He is not a guest now. He can smell that. He had seen the guy during the fight in the woods. His presence here will only mean Carles is mated to-

Clement saw the mating mark on Samuel and he ran to him and hugged him.

"Don't be so dramatic," said Samuel patting Clement's back.

Clement then smiled at Carles.

"Welcome to the family," said Clement and hugged Carles and kissed on his cheeks and forehead which is the way of welcoming family.

"What," squealed Ily and he jumped on both of them.

Arth was laughing.

"I broght Uncle Car along. I wish Jeev could come too," said Arth.

"Who is Jeev?" asked Clement ticking Arth, lifting him up from the floor.

"My Uncle," said Arth blowing a raspberry on Clement's cheek.

Jana smiled as he took Carles in, explaining everything to him as they went.

"And that is bro's room, yours too," said Jana, really excited.

Carles looked at his brother.

"I missed you," said Carles.

"Oh, I did too," said Jana.

Samuel walked into his room and saw Carles hanging his clothes into the wardrobe. He stood at the door and watched.

"Okay, creep, you can always come and help me rather than stand there and ogle me," said Carles.

"Who says I am oggling you. I could even be looking at you like you are a cockroach," said Samuel as he walked over and helped Carles.

"Really?" asked Carles teasingly.

Samuel looked at his mate, an amused look on his face.

Magnus was laying on his bed Arth was jumping on the bed, making it shake and squealing.

Oh, how Magnus missed this that day.

Jana came in and glared at them.

"You are letting him get away with being a brat," said Jana.

"He is not a brat. And kids play," said Magnus.

"Arth no brat," said Arth, his nose in the air.

"See, Arth is no brat," said Magnus.

Jana rolled his eyes and sat next to them. He looked at Magnus who looked at him. Jana rested his head on Magnus who looked at him and slowly dropped a kiss on Jana's forehead.

"Yeah, Kissy Kissy," clapped Arth.

"Our son is a voyeur," said Jana as he caught Arth in his arms.

Magnus looked at him when he heard the usage. It made him want to hear it more.

"Would you mind if I adopted him legally?" asked Magnus

Jana looked at him.

"Mind?" asked Jana incredulous. They looked at Arth who was jumping his way to Clement's room.

Jana looked at him.

"I saw you look at him and I wish you- I- I wish I - " Jana needn't say it. Magnus knew.

"I feel so guilty for thinking that and I would never trade him for anything," said Jana

"He is my pup, blood or not.  And you know, after Samuel and Carles, I think I get the connection as to why my pup recognised me as his pack alpha and dad. I can feel his soul. He is my son. It could be one of those things that happened in past life. And does it matter?" asked Magnus.

"It really doesn't," smiled Jana.

Magnus and Jana heard the sounds of running in the hall. Jana groaned.

"Sometimes I don't know who is the kid! Clement or Ily or Arth. It is the same," said Jana and rushed out to make sure the three doesn't die while playing. Carles looked alarmed as he saw this.

"See what I deal with on a regular basis. Thank god you are here or I would have gone mad. Trust me my Alpha and older brother can be a real pain in the ass at times," said Jana.

Carles gave a small smile and followed him to the hall.

Samuel looked at Carles as they went to bed that day. Carles looked beautiful and Samuel couldn't resist kissing him.

They were silent for some time.

"I- All I have made is this. Those three idiots out there and then Jana and Arth came into Magnus' life and obviously into the family and made this a house. We were all surviving and now you are here. Things are changing. You know, noise and playfullness was heard in this house after decades. I- I want this house to remain so and maybe get better- I- What I mean to say is- Samuel searched for words.

"With you all the way. I- I know. Jana tells me everything," said Carles.

"Do you like this place? I will take you into the woods and the packs tomorrow," said Samuel.

Carles nodded and he smiled.

"Home? Clement makes me wish Jeev was his mate. I am sure he would absolutely adore Jeev," said Carles.

"But I think you said it's not possible even with the family history," said Samuel as Carles placed his head closer to Samuel's.

"Well that is because Jeev had been in love with someone since he was 15, he was sure the guy would be his mate. But before Silvio's 18th birthday, he was travelling with his pack and parents. They used to communicate through letters because the guy insisted he doesn't have a phone and his pack was on the move, hiding from another pack But well, When Jeev turned 23 and Silvio was supposed to come and meet him, now free of his pack duties. They met. The guy was indeed his mate but he rejected Jeev. He blamed dads for it. He said if they had given them protection, they would have been able to live free. He also said that he left because our parents refused. Jeev was heartbroken because baba and dad knew of his attraction towards Silvio. But they chose to not give them asylum anyway. Jeev did not speak to them for one whole year. He locked himself up in a room. It was a bad year. Then we found out that their pack had actually - well Silvio was involved with rogues, so was the rest. Baba and dad didn't say anything not to hurt Jeev more. Jeev learned of it and confronted Silvio who married a rogue and broke the bond with Jeev completely. Silvio was able to do it because he did the ritual to turn a rogue. He turned back the rogue leader and now they are a big threat in the southern frontiers," said Carles.

"Wow, So all of you have had your fair share of tragedies. What is the story here?" asked Samuel.

Carles looked at him.

"Another time. Because I want to etch this into my mind- that you are finally here," said Carles. He then ran his hand through Samuel's hair. They both fell asleep.
