Life in the Big House
Project Unfinished
"Alright, we're gonna get out of here, now!" Zak declared.
Greg sighed, "Thanks for the insight, Captain Obvious."
"Here's the plan..." Zak whispered to the two other inmates.
Greg's teal eyes lit up at this. "That's an amazing plan!" he shouted.
Doggo swiftly, wagged his tail, indicating he was ready to follow through with the plan.
Suddenly, a guard looked over into their cell. "What plan?"
Greg shivered. "Uh...."
"We were just singing a song about words that rhyme." Zak said.
"....plan!" Zak and Greg sang in unison, repeating the words they had already said before.
The guard shook his head in disbelief. "First of all, amazing and plan don't rhyme. I really think you need help." The guard walked away to tend to the other inmates.
"Wait!" Zak called.
The guard stopped, "What?"
"My mom is here to see me." Zak said.
The guard sighed and searched through his key rings, which most likely had more than 100 keys.
Greg rolled his eyes.
"It has to be somewhere," the guard mumbled to himself.
Doggo slowly lifted his leg on Greg's foot.
"Ew Doggo!" Greg shouted.
Zak stood tapping his foot on the ground. "Dude hurry up. I don't want to die of old age in here before I see my mom. Because if I don't leave the cell soon enough, my mom is going to ground me, and that's saying something if I'm already dead," Zak called to the guard.
Greg snickered behind his hand.
"Ah-Ha!" said the guard.
Zak frowned, "Why say, 'Ah-Ha' to a dead person grounded?"
"No, not that you idiot!" hissed the guard. "I've found the key!"
Zak lightened up, "Oh. It's about time."
The guard opened the cell and Zak walked out.
Doggo ran over to the guard.
The guard bent down to pet the dog.
But, Doggo jumped up and attacked his crotch.
"AAWWWWOW!" screamed the guard, bloody murder.
Greg ran to Doggo, picked him up, and dashed out side where Zak would meet him.
Zak kneeled over the guard on the floor. "Mister Guard?"
No response.
Zak checked the guard's pulse. "Oh my. He's dead." Zak got up and fled the scene of the crime.
"Wait! Take me with you!" shouted someone.
"Who are you?" asked Zak.
"I'm Austin Kuraczech."
Zak bent down to grab the keys to the cell hanging from the guard's waist.
Austin stood still.
"Okay. Don't just stand there, follow me." Zak said.
Together, Austin and Zak ran outside.
"Alright, we are finally out." Zak said.
"Who's that?" asked Greg.
"Austin." said Zak. "Another inmate."
"Hey, look who's back!" Greg said, excitedly.
"It's Dan!" Zak yelled out.
"And I got Fred back! I also found two kids that were on the run, Wayne Bocle and his younger brother, Ethan!" Dan told them.
"And I'm back, too. In normal form. Without clothes," said Jackson.
"Oh, here's some clothes I brought with." Ethan handed clothes to Jackson.
"Thanks, you're so helpful." Jackson thanked him.
They returned home, this time to the Senti household.
