Hello Readers!
No, this is not an update, sorry for disappointing you all.
On the good news side of things, I got promoted at work! Unfortunately, the promotion came with extra responsibilities, and for the last few months, I have been trying to acclimatize to the sudden increase in workload in addition to my already busy personal life. I wouldn't say I've managed to get an equilibrium, but I have gotten the hang of prioritizing it all just a little bit.
That being said, due to this unexpected change, I did not have the time to write and update this story. I just figured you all deserved an apology for such a long, unexplained hiatus at my end. So, sincere apologies for not having updated this story in so long.
In the time I was away, you guys continued to show love and support to the story. Thank you so much for holding out so long! Now that I am back, I will try to go back to a more regular update schedule. The next chapter for this story will be posted on September 10, 2023. Once again, apologies to keep you all waiting for so long. See you with the next update next week! :)
