Chapter 82 - Mu Siyin Fished A Cassanova

Gu Yifan remained silent when he heard this.

Father Gu frowned anxiously and said, “I heard that Mu Corporation’s investor is a big shot. It even has something to do with Mu Siyin…”

Madam Gu immediately flew into a rage. “He must be the man in Gu Yiling’s photo! Mu Siyin is simply shameless, just like her sister. That vixen!”

Gu Yifan’s face darkened at Madam Gu’s words. Once again, he was reminded of the possibility that Mu Siyin had cheated on him during their relationship.

“I will ask the Mu family about this issue myself!”

Upon saying so, Gu Yifan took his blazer with him and headed out the door.

After walking out of Gu Corporation, Gu Yifan pondered for a long time before he dialed Mu Xingyu’s phone number.

Mu Xingyu was in her room pricking a doll that resembled Mu Siyin when she saw Gu Yifan on her caller ID. Her eyes immediately lit up.

“Yifan…” Her voice became seductive.

Although Gu Corporation was going through a financial crisis, Mu Xingyu’s feelings towards Gu Yifan were real and would never change.

Gu Yifan did not say anything much and went straight to the point. “I’m at the coffee shop around your house. Room number 206.”

Upon hearing this, Mu Xingyu was so excited that she nodded her head furiously. “Okay. I’ll be there in a second.”

After hanging up the phone, she quickly changed into a new dress and touched up her makeup. Then, she grabbed her handbag before she rushed out of the house.

The Mu family house was five hundred meters away from the coffee shop. Hence, Mu Xingyu had no choice but to drive herself there.

Mu Siyin was in her room on the second floor when she heard the sound of a car engine roaring to life. She instinctively walked to her window and poked her head out to take a look.

She narrowed her eyes and said, “Where is Mu Xingyu going? I suppose she’s going on a date?”

Mu Xingyu rushed to the coffee shop. Once she found the private room that Gu Yifan mentioned, she quickly pushed open the door.

Gu Yifan was standing by the window with a grim expression on his face.

He heard a noise and was about to turn around when Mu XIngyu ran forward and gave him a hug from the back.

“I missed you so much, Yifan…”

Gu Yifan was currently very anxious and was in no mood to flirt around with Mu Xingyu. So, he pushed her away with a frown before he asked solemnly, “How did Mu Corporation get out of the crisis?”

Although he knew the answer to it, Gu Yifan still wanted to play safe.

Mu Xingyu frowned and said angrily, “It was Mu Siyin. She found herself a Cassanova who invested in Mu Corporation!”

Rage flared in Gu Yifan’s eyes upon learning this.

Mu Xingyu decided to add fuel to the fire. “I told you that she betrayed you a long time ago, but you didn’t believe it. She must’ve cheated on you earlier on. Why else would he invest so much money in Mu Corporation?”

After saying this, Mu Xingyu quoted a classic line from Mu Siyin, “The covers must’ve torn from all the sexual rendezvous they had!”

“Enough!” Gu Yifan retorted in a low yet fierce voice and turned around furiously.

Mu Xingyu frowned as she walked up to Gu Yifan. “What I’m saying is the truth, Yifan. My dad and grandma really need that man’s support now. That is why they tolerate her scandalous relationship.”

“I told you to stop!” Gu Yifan bellowed.

Mu Xingyu’s eyes stung the moment Gu Yifan yelled at her. Feeling upset, she uttered, “I know that you’re annoyed because of Mu Siyin and the company, but she’s not worth it.

“About your company… you shouldn’t worry too much about it. Now that Mu Corporation is financially stable, I’ll beg my dad to help Gu Corporation when he returns home. We’ll definitely put an end to your crisis.”

Gu Yifan did not like what Mu Xingyu said at first, but the remaining half caught his attention.

Noticing that Gu Yifan’s expression had softened, Mu Xingyu approached him seductively. Then, she hugged him as she stroked his lower body nonchalantly…
