Mu Siyin frowned. She looked troubled.

She was not sure what those things were either. How was she supposed to tell Ji Yang what they were?

Ji Yang sighed loudly. “Yinyin! You can’t believe him because he told you to! You have to see and feel his sincerity for yourself! You can’t just fall for his words. After all, you haven’t known him for that long.”

Ji Yang only said so much because she was worried that Mu Siyin would be lied to.

Mu Siyin murmured, “I don’t think… he’ll lie to me.”

He had always helped her without her knowing. He was even willing to sacrifice his life for her! She had no reason to doubt someone who treated her that way.

If he really did cheat her one day, then she would take them as a white lie.

Ji Yang was shocked to see how much trust Mu Siyin placed in Shi Beiyu’s words.

The duo was woken up by the sound of the alarm the next day.

Mu Siyin smiled at Ji Yang when she saw the milk on the table. “You know what? Mu Xingyu wanted to throw milk on me yesterday morning, but she ended up splashing it on my stepfather instead.”

Having just taken a mouthful of milk, Ji Yang spat it all out when she heard Mu Siyin. Luckily, Mu Siyin did not sit in front of Ji Yang, or her face would have been covered in milk by now.

“My God! Do you have to be so dramatic?” Upon saying so, Mu Siyin handed her friend a tissue in disgust.
