Chapter 128 - You Have To Maintain Yourself From Now On

Leng Jiuchen stood next to the door in a green army uniform. Along with him was Leng Jiao, who was also dressed in the same uniform.

Leng Jiao looked valiant and heroic as she stood in front of her brother.

Like her name, Leng Jiao’s features were as beautiful as a blossoming flower, and she was lean and tall. At first sight, she looked around 168 centimeters. She did not have long hair, but it was tied into a messy bun. Everything about her looked simple, yet there was something different about her.

“Jeez, I don’t need you to introduce me.” Upon saying so, Leng Jiao reached her hands out and beamed at Mu Siyin. “Nice to meet you, Siyin. I’m Leng Jiao, but you can call me Jiaojiao or by my nickname, little spice bomb.”

Leng Jiao was an easygoing person, and Mu Siyin liked it.

“Nice to meet you. I’ve heard so many things about you.”

Leng Jiao was a member of the Eagle Squad from the Special Operation Forces. It was one of the most elite teams out there, and she would definitely achieve more in two years.

Leng Jiao smiled shyly when she heard this. “Come on, stop flattering me. I’m just a little shrimp in the squad.”

Mu Siyin wanted to tell her how accomplished she would be in the future.

However, it was best not to reveal secrets of the future.

Following closely behind his sister, Leng Jiuchen paced forward. He then looked at Leng Jiao and said, “It’s good to know where you stand. That’s why you’ve got to work harder in the future.”

Leng Jiao immediately straightened her back and saluted Leng Jiuchen. “Yes, Chief!”

Shi Ran looked done with this. “Just look at these pair of siblings. Don’t be so rigid after your working hours. I feel so out of place.”

Leng Jiao replied helplessly, “Army rules have to be obeyed wherever you are.”

At that, Leng Jiuchen finally said, “Tonight’s an exception.”

Leng Jiao immediately beamed when she heard this. She instantly hugged Leng Jiuchen’s arm and said, “This is how an older brother should be.”

This pair of siblings really made Shi Beiyu speechless. He looked at Mu Siyin instead and said, “I’m pretty sure you don’t need me to introduce him, right?”

Mu Siyin chuckled sheepishly. That man was destined to be the future President, so there was no need for any introductions at all.

Leng Jiuchen has a cold personality by birth. However, since Mu Siyin was Shi Beiyu’s girlfriend, he naturally would not show her his poker face. Instead, he nodded at Mu Siyin before he looked at his friend and said, “She’s young indeed. Full of energy too. You have to maintain yourself from now on.”

Everyone laughed uncontrollably when they heard Leng Jiuchen’s remarks. Huo Sikai was still drinking his water with his head low and choked terribly. He looked at Leng Jiuchen with tears in his eyes. “Don’t you mean he has to work on his physical strength?”
