Chapter 103 - Her Cousin Does Not Mess Around

With a splitting headache, Ji Yang complained, “There were around eighty men and women. By the time we were done with the report, the sun was up.”

“That many?” Mu Siyin was shocked!

“What do you think? Men nowadays are really full of crap. They’re always out there looking for sex.”

Mu Siyin sighed softly and shook her head. “It seems like it. That’s why your anti-prostitution squad exists.”

Ji Yang was speechless, but she then seemed to be reminded of something. “I bet you don’t know how shameless these men are. There’s this man called Lu… something Chen. He thinks he’s something just because his family has his back. How dare he fight back? I kicked him twice during the operation and threw him into the car.”

Mu Siyin jumped as her eyes widened. “Lu something Chen?”

“Yeah. A rich playboy. He had one woman in each arm and was even threatening us when we caught him! He deserves to get his teeth kicked in, right?”

Mu Siyin took a deep breath. “Do you remember his name, Yangyang? What Chen?”

Ji Yang said in annoyance, “There were so many people. I can’t remember, and I’m really tired, Yinyin. I’ll talk to you later.”

Mu Siyin wanted to ask more, but Ji Yang ended the phone call.

Mu Siyin glared at her screen and uttered, “It can’t be Cuz, right?”

She immediately called Lu Jingchen’s phone number when she thought about this. However, it could not get through.

That was when the suspicion in her grew. Was it really her cousin?

How could it be?

Her cousin was not someone who would mess around!

Shi Beiyu came home in time in the afternoon.

When he got back, Mu Siyin was standing in the courtyard, watering the flowers at the parterre because she was really bored.

Mu Siyin immediately put down the watering can as soon as she noticed Shi Beiyu and ran towards him.

“You’re back!”

Shi Beiyu raised his hand to pull her into his arms and whispered, “Bored?”

Mu Siyin nodded. “Yeah! I’ll be bored to death soon!”

Shi Beiyu narrowed his eyes and looked at her before saying, “I’ll stay at home with you this afternoon.”

Mu Siyin quickly shook her head. “It’s fine! You do your thing. I’ll be busy in the afternoon.”

Shi Beiyu frowned. “What do you have?”

“I have to see Yangyang this afternoon.”

Shi Beiyu’s handsome face instantly darkened.

Mu Siyin hurriedly added, “I really need to see her for something. Besides, I feel fine now, so you don’t have to worry.”

Seeing how determined Mu Siyin looked, Shi Beiyu gave in and sighed softly. “Okay, then.”

Mu Siyin was a little anxious. She wanted to talk to Ji Yang to make sure whether that person was Lu Jingchen.

Hence, she rushed Shi Beiyu to head out as soon as they had lunch.

Since Ji Yang had her own place, Shi Beiyu was only assured that Mu Siyin was safe when he saw her walk upstairs.

Ji Yang was sound asleep when she suddenly heard someone pounding on her door. She could go mad. Why could she not sleep in peace?

“Who on earth is it?!”

She pulled her hair in frustration as she got down from her bed and went to her living room, where she roared furiously.

“It’s me, Yangyang. Open up…”

Ji Yang was shocked!

She walked up and opened the door. As expected, it was Mu Siyin.

“Why are you here, Yinyin?”Ji Yang was exasperated. Not only did Mu Siyin call her early in the morning, but she even came banging on her door not long after she went back to sleep.

Mu Siyin smiled in embarrassment when she saw how sleepy Ji Yang looked.

“I’m sorry, Ji Yang. I woke you up again…”

Ji Yang said in a bad mood, “Cut to the chase. What’s the matter? Why did you come all the way here?”

Upon hearing this, Mu Siyin quickly said, “Remember the Lu guy you told me about this afternoon? He might be my cousin!”
