Chapter 9

"I love you Aryan" announced Samaira with a smile, without breaking the eye contact.

His brows furrowed, "Samaira, Think before you speak!" Stated Aryan in a serious yet gentle tone.

"I'm dead serious right now!" Replied Samaira while folding her arms across her chest, the smile still lingered on her face.

Breaking the gaze, Aryan spoke, "Samaira, Let's go, All must be waiting for us" his tone casual.

"Oh Hello, I've said something serious, and you're just turning your back on me?" Stated samaira with a scoff, standing infront of him.

"Samaira listen, You're still in your teens. You'll regret it, Once you grow up". Replied Aryan, his features softened.

Upon not getting any reply he continued, "Focus on your studies, Don't let the negetive thoughts take over, Don't waste your time on this things" Saying this, He started to leave from there leaving samaira behind.

She stood infront of him, blocking his way to leave.

Aryan was about to say something, but samaira interrupts, "Listen to me, I know you'll react like this, But still i confessed my feelings for you and I'm not wasting my time, but I'm investing my time on you" stated Samaira softly with a bright smile.

Aryan stood there, absorbing her words.

She continued, "I will learn more about you, and will cherish you forever, Love doesn't require age to blossom, My feelings are fervent for you." Her voice steady.

"Let's go" stated Aryan, shifting his heels from that spot.

"Okay, Let's see who will win at the end" spoke Samaira, her eyes sparkled with determination. A glimmer of hope remained in her heart.

"This kid" thought Aryan shaking his head.

Samaira quickens her pace to match his, her heart raising with excitement

After a few moments both of them reached their group.

"You guys took so much time to buy these things" stated pranav, sipping his bubble tea.

"There's a queue" replied Aryan, glancing at samaira.

"Uh- Then, Let's go home, We've been wandering since past 2 hours!" Announced Rajvansh, his tone steady.

"Uhm- Wait, We still haven't tried the popular ride!" Exclaims kiara, getting up from her seat. "Yes, That's true" stated Samaira, nodding decisively.

"Name of the ride please!?" Inquired pranav, folding hands across his chest.

"Merry-go-round!!" exclaims samaira & kiara, with bright smiles. "How is that popular? Its just a children's ride"

Questioned pranav, confusion evident in his face.

"Uh- You know, In most of the k-dramas, The Male lead's rents the whole amusement park for their girls! How romantic is that! Right!" Exclaims kiara, with dreamy eyes.

"Eww, Stop it! How childish!" Replied pranav, making a face.

"Hey! Its not childish but romantic, You don't know anything! You're not romantic!" retorted kiara, standing infront of pranav, while folding her arms across her chest.

"So, You want me to be romantic?" questioned pranav with a smirk, moving more closer to kiara.

All of them stood wide-eye looking at pranav and kiara.

Feeling all of their gazes on her, "Uhm- I-I'm going, If you all want, You can join me" stammered kiara, turning her gaze away and started to leave.

"I'm coming! Wait! Riya let's go!!" Exclaims Samaira while dragging Riya along with her.

Rajvansh, Dhruv, Advik, Aryan shifted their gaze towards pranav, who is looking at kiara's disappearing figure.

"Bro, What was that? How can you speak with kiara like that? See, She's scared because of you!" Stated Advik, folding hands across his chest.

"Yes, Stop doing weird things dude!" Stated dhruv. "Let's go, The girls are alone there" spoke pranav, ignoring their words.

"Okay guys, Let's go!" Stated rajvansh, feeling the weight of the moment.

Aryan just smiled at pranav, cuz, He knows something which the rest of the others didn't know.

"Guys come on, Try this! Its enjoyable"

Stated Riya, with a bright smile. "Yes, Otherwise you'll regret!" exclaims kiara, her eyes sparkled with excitement.

"Wait! Let me drag them" saying this, Samaira dragged Rajvansh, dhruv, Advik into the ride.

"So, What was that earlier?" Spoke Aryan, watching the others enjoy the ride. "What?" Questioned pranav, trying to act innocent.

"Playing dumb right? Okay, The encounter with Kiara, You're making it obvious." Spoke Aryan, getting straight to the point.

"Forget about me, What did Samaira say?" Questioned Pranav, ignoring his words.

"Samaira?" Questioned Aryan, furrowing his brows.

"Oh come on dude! I came to check up on you, since you guys are taking forever to come! But I saw that Samaira confessing her feelings to you! So, What did you say? Replied pranav casually.

"She is just a kid, She is not mature enough to think this type of things!" Replied Aryan, glancing at samaira.

"I don't know about that! But still don't break her heart, Think before you do anything. You know her, She's stubborn since childhood." Replied pranav looking at Aryan.

Aryan stood still in silence, thinking about the earlier confession of Samaira.

*The next day*

"You what?!!!" Exclaims kiara, getting up from the chair, her eyes wide in astonishment.

All of the students present in the class started looking at them.

"Shh! Girl, Why you are shouting? Do you want the whole campus to know?" Questioned Samaira, looking around.

"Uh- Sorry!" said kiara, sitting in her chair, with a apologetic expression.

"So, What did he say? I mean what is his reaction?" Questioned kiara, eager to find out what happened.

With a sigh, samaira narrated the whole story with a smile, her eyes glistening lightly.

"Uh- Samaira he rejected you indirectly, and still you're hoping that he will accept you" thought kiara, getting concerned for her.

"Kiara, Say something! What do you think?" Questioned Samaira shaking Kiara's shoulder.

"Samaira, Prepare yourself for anything that comes in your way! Its okay if he doesn't like you back!" spoke kiara, holding her hands.

"No, Its not like that, It's just that maybe Aryan needs more time". Replied samaira, her voice heavy with emotion. Its more like she's consoling herself.
