Chapter-27

"You need punishment..."

Janvi widens her eyes and Arjun smirks looking at her....

He was looking like a mad man...Janvi shivered thinking about punishment....

"What is he going to do with me?..."

Janvi thought in her mind and gulped down her saliva....Janvi broke their eye lock and looked out of the car window....Her heart was beating loudly...

Arjun turned on his laptop and started to work which should be done long ago....But, because of his careless wife he had to leave them and had to come to look for her....

She started to breathe heavily and suddenly she began to feel so hot....For that,sweat started to form on her forehead....

"Decrease the AC temperature.."

Arjun spoke suddenly making Janvi startled...Janvi looked at Arjun whose full attention was on his laptop...

She thought in her mind, how did he know that she was feeling hot as he didn't give a glance at her even once....He was typing nonstop like a ROBOT....His fingers were moving magically on the keyboard in a rhythm...

"He has long fingers, and they work so smoothly"

Janvi wandered into her mind while looking at Arjun's fingers...

His veiny arms were visible as he folded his sleeves up...He was wearing a white shirt which Janvi didn't notice before....His tie was hanging loosely around his neck and the first two buttons were open and his---

"You should concentrate on what punishment I'm going to give you rather than me..."

Arjun's voice brought Janvi to the world and felt embarrassed being caught in red handed... Arjun spoke without looking at her to which Janvi was glad....

Janvi began to think about what Arjun's punishment could be....He is a ruthless mafia king.... His punishment must be extremely painful.... Janvi's throat felt dry...

"Is he going to beat me?... How can---.... Obviously he can.... Maybe he is going to tie me with chains and then he will hit me with a rod or hockey stick....aah... it's going to be very hurtful..."

Janvi snapped out of her imagination when she felt something on her knees....She looked at her knees and found a large hand which engulfed her knees.... Arjun grabbed her knees in one hand and the other one was working on his laptop...

Janvi tried to move away her knees from his hold as she felt strange whenever he touched her....

"Don't..."

Arjun warned Janvi without looking at her...

"Can you---"

Janvi stopped in the middle of her sentence when Arjun passed her a deadly glare...She was about to speak something again....

"Don't annoy me..."

Janvi bit her lower lip to stop her from saying anything... Arjun's eyes moved down on her lips...She had bitten her lip with too much brutally  if she put a little bit more pressure on it, her lip surely will be bleeding....

Janvi turned her face and looked out of the car window

"She will not stop from doing strange things with her hands and legs....Now, her lips are also added to the list..."

Arjun mumbled under his breath and started his work again....

Almost half an hour later their car stopped... Arjun got down from the car and the driver opened the car door for Janvi....Janvi thanked him with a smile and stood beside Arjun keeping a decent distance....

Then she looked around to find out where the place was.... Infront of her there was a huge beautiful building but she couldn't find any name... Maybe they were standing at the backside of the building....

Everything seems unfamiliar....She was sure that she was never in this part of the city before....

She never got enough scope to explore places...She was always busy with her daily schedule as she had to do household chores, study and a part time job also....Janvi went out when Sneha insisted or took her forcefully....

"Sir, the meeting room is ready.... Clients are waiting for you..."

Janvi's thoughts got broken when she heard someone's voice...That person was Musa with whom Janvi met a couple of times....

Arjun nodded his head and then his gaze shifted to Janvi and their eyes met...

"Musa, take her to my cabin from the back door..."

Arjun spoke without breaking their eye contact...

"Go with him...I have meetings to attend....See you after that..."

Janvi nodded her head... Arjun raised his left eyebrows....

"Okay..."

Janvi replied like an obedient one...

"Ma'am, please come with me..."

Musa requested Janvi to go with him and Janvi started to follow him....When she was about to pass Arjun, he held her forearm and pulled Janvi towards himself....

Janvi looked at him with her wide eyes but she didn't try to pull herself out of his grip...Arjun bent down to her level and kept his face near her ears... Arjun inhaled Janvi's fragrance....His face was so close as his beard was poking her cheek...

"Wait for your punishment, wifey..."

She shivered when his lips touched her ear lightly while he was speaking...She felt her ear burning...

Arjun removed his hold from Janvi and she  instantly ran after Musa as she was trying to escape from him....

Janvi's pov:-

It was a quarter past eight....But still there is no sign of HIM...

All these hours I just got crazy thinking about his punishment....I don't know which kind of punishment he was going to give me.... Whenever I think about it my whole body turned cold and my throat felt dry....And the AC temperature is also not helping my situation...

I had my food almost 12 hours ago....My water bottle was empty long before....My stomach is growling out of hunger but I have nothing to eat nor drink.... I'm feeling so weak....

I don't even feel like admiring his cosy office cabin....I feel everything is frustrating...If I could I would have turned his cabin into a mess....

I was sitting on a cosy couch...Thank God it was soft and comfortable otherwise I won't be able to sit there for hours.... I'm feeling light headed....

I kept my head on the arm of the couch....Then I wrapped myself with my dupatta and pressed my stomach tightly when it growled again....I don't know when sleep overtook me....

I felt the warmth of something.... Something was wrapped around my cold body....He is near....His smell was hitting my nostrils....It felt like intoxication....

I tried to wake up but I couldn't....I want to stay like this but want to wake up also.... Everything was sinking into darkness...I couldn't move any part of my body....My breath got heavy....I was feeling suffocated....

Someone's phone rang loudly for some seconds which brought me to the earth and I was able to open my eyes....I looked around and realised that I was still in his office cabin....My eyes stopped on the person who was standing beside a big window....He was holding a coffee mug in one hand and the other one was typing something on his phone ...He was busy with his phone and sipping his coffee between his work...

I removed his suit which was giving me warmth all this time....Ac was also turned off....I was feeling very weak.... With a lot of difficulties I stood up from the couch and everything started to spin....I hold my head and  fall down on the couch which grabbed his attention....

"So, sleeping beauty decided to wake up..."

Arjun spoke sarcasticly....I looked at him and his eyes were on me already....

"You don't look fine...What happened?..."

Arjun's eyes scanning me like an x-ray machine....I ignored his questio...

"I want some water..."

My sound came out very low....I don't know if he heard me or not...

He put his phone into his pants pocket and came to his desk and kept the coffee mug he was holding....Then picked up the water filled glass which was all these time on his desk and I didn't notice.... Stupid me...

He gave me the glass and I emptied it within a few seconds....I thanked him...In reply, he just nodded his head and kept the glass back on his desk...

After drinking water my stomach started to feel uneasy....I shouldn't have drunk all the water hurriedly...

"I want to go home...Can you please ask your driver to drop me?..."

I tried to sound polite....I just wanted to go back to home...Suddenly I feel like throwing up...I couldn't wait for his reply....

"R--restroom?..."

I asked him impatiently....He showed me the way to the restroom...I ran instantly and locked the door...

I stayed there in front of the basin for a few minutes but nothing happened....My uneasiness was increasing with each and every second.... When nothing came out of my stomach, I decided to came out of the restroom....I washed my face and wiped with my dupatta....

I opened the door of the restroom and gasped seeing Arjun standing there with an unreadable face....

"Umm....I j-just...."

I don't know what I was saying...

"Let's go..."

Thank god he didn't ask anything...I nodded and went behind him....This time I didn't forget to get my bag.... I'm feeling a little dizzy but I don't want to show him....

I just follow him like a lost puppy....I don't know where he is taking me....I just want to be home....SOON....

After getting into the car,I keep my head against the window and I close my eyes....

"Don't you have anything to explain, sweetheart?..."

I don't dare to open my eyes as he sounds now very dangerous....I just want to disappear...
