Chapter--13

Author note----

Very sorry guys for keeping you all wait...I thought to publish at least one chapter before my exams....

Suddenly I got sick and couldn't come up with the story...

Finally, here is the update....Enjoy my lovely readers🩵

Arjun's pov--

It was one of the most hectic days as usual...I have already told Musa to pick up Janvi from her college...I also ordered if she doesn't want to come then bring her forcefully...At this point I can't tolerate her tantrum...I told Musa to blindfold her as I don't want to give her any idea where I'm gonna take her...

When I got into the car she was asleep...Her eyes were blindfolded...She was clutching her bag to her chest as her life was depending on it... She was wearing a simple cotton salwar kameez...I have never seen her in a fancy dress except on the party day...Her look was not that heavy..

She is simple yet gorgeous...

Her head was resting on the car seat... I have the side view of her face and neck...I removed my gaze from her...

Her uncle said that she is very greedy and gold digger...But I have never felt like that... Maybe she is putting an innocent personality in front of me so that, she could achieve a big amount of property or money...

If she thought like that then I must say she is a fool...Because, she isn't gonna have any of my property but I will have her's...I need the power.. for that she has to pay...

When our car was riding on the mountain road it started to jump because of the unpolished surface of the muddy road....Suddenly, our car jumped violently which made Janvi unbalanced and she jerked towards the front seat and was about to hit her face...I immediately pulled her towards the car seat and held her by her shoulder...Then made her stable....My one hand was across her chest to the shoulder and another one was holding her by her waist...I hold her tightly against my body...

Janvi couldn't understand what was happening...

She panicked when she felt my hands on her and removed the blindfold from her eyes and turned around to look at me..

"FINALLY, YOUR WAKE UP....YOUR BEAUTY SLEEP GOT DISTURBED?"

I asked her...But Janvi was staring at me with her wide eyes and no words were coming from her throat...

"WE ARE ON MOUNTAIN ROUTE... THAT'S WHY CAR IS JUMPING LIKE KANGAROO...WE WILL REACH WITHIN SOMETIME..."

I spoke holding her more firmly but not painfully...She was unblinkingly staring at my face...

"YOU HAVE WHOLE NIGHT TO STARE AT ME, SWEETHEART..."

I smirked looking at my wife who was staring at me for a long time with her wide eyes...

I know that she was shocked to see me suddenly as she was asleep before..

"I....I...am noo...t... starring..."

Janvi replied averting her eyes from me...She was nervous..We were sitting very close...Her back was pressed against me...She smelt so good..

"SURE..."

I chuckled listening to Janvi's answer...

"WHY ARE YOU SCARED, SWEETHEART??"

I asked looking at Janvi...I can feel her increasing heart beat as my one hand was holding her across her chest to her arm...I can also feel her shivering body...

"Whee....ree... a..are you taking mee?"

Janvi asked about being afraid...I know that the whole situation is scaring her...

"COME AND SEE BY YOURSELF...WE HAVE REACHED..."

I freed Janvi from my hold and got outside of the car...I waited for her but she didn't come out..I asked her to get out of the car..

"Ar....are you gooo.... going to kill mee he...here?"

Janvi asked with her teary eyes...Is she dumb or what?...She is thinking I'm gonna kill her here...Why will I kill her when she is the golden egg laying hen?

"RIGHT NOW I'M NOT IN MOOD TO KILL YOU...SO YOU ARE SAFE NOW..."

I replied coldly to make her more scared as I was enjoying her state...She didn't move from her seat...

"DO YOU WANT ME TO PICK YOU UP IN MY ARMS AND THROW YOU FROM THE HILL??"

I asked arrogantly as I lost my patience...

Janvi came out of the car slowly...I started to walk towards my wooden house direction...I walked fast as I got irritated by her behaviour...After sometime I noticed that Janvi was nowhere...She couldn't match with me and left behind...

I was hell irritated now...Then I head back to find her...

"Ar......Arjuuuun..."

Janvi called me by my name... It's the first time she was calling me that too by my name...It feels so different..She was very scared...I walked fast to reach her...

"Pleee.... please Arjuuun....cooo...me back.."

She sobbed loudly....I started to walk to her...

"I...will listen to your every single word...I wii..will be a good girl..."

She hiccups between her sobs...I chuckled mentally....She is such a kid...

"Ar....Arjun....... I'm sooo....sorry..... I'm ss...scared.."

Her voice cracked as she was crying out her heart...There was no sound except her crying and some wild animals.... She was crying like a child....She was so lost about her doings that she didn't notice my presence behind her...

Suddenly, I felt she was about to scream...Then I instantly pressed my palm against her mouth and stopped her from screaming...

"DARE TO SCREAM OR YOU WILL BE THROWN FROM THE HILL..."

I threatened her..

I removed my hand from Janvi's mouth...Janvi instantly turns around and looks at me...Her whimper never left...

"STOP CRYING"

I ordered Janvi sternly....I can't tolerate her tears...Janvi immediately wiped her face with her hand...Her hiccups break out.. She pressed her hand on her mouth to suppress her sobs that continuously came out from her...

"IF YOU AGAIN ATTEMPT TO TRY SAME STAND, I WILL LEAVE YOU IN THIS DARK PLACE SURROUNDED BY HUNGRY WILD ANIMALS..."

I threatened Janvi again...I was very pissed off... Everyone listens to me...No one dared to disobey my order...But this girl is getting on my nerves..

"IT'S JUNGLE AREA...NO ONE IS GONNA COME TO RESCUE YOU..."

Janvi looked around and found no living species except some hungry wild animals who were growling in the dark...

"NOW COME WITH ME"

Saying that I started to walk again...She started to stumble again and again...

"Can you please slow down a little bit??....I can't see..."

Janvi pleaded to me...She wasn't able to see the route and couldn't match the high speed of mine...

I left a big sigh as I was trying to calm myself...I  don't want to blast on her...At least not now...

I took some steps back and held Janvi's right hand firmly to guide her in the dark road...

"Aaaahh"

Janvi groaned in pain.... I instantly left Janvi's hand and looked down at her hand...

"What happened to your hand??.."

I noticed that Janvi's right hand was covered with bandage... The whole time I didn't notice that...

"Ummm....I got some cuts...umm.. because....I fall on the floor....There was a broken plate...."

She was making words...

"GOT IT... CLUMSY IN EVERY WAY..."

I murmured the last part so that Janvi couldn't hear me clearly...

"Did you say something?.."

Janvi enquired...

"NOPE...NOW DO THE HONOUR AND COME WITH ME..."

I held Janvi's forearm and started to drag her with me... Janvi was jogging with me as she couldn't match my speed...But I didn't care much...

"I can't....I can't walk ... more.... Please take a break..."

Janvi huffed tiredly and stopped moving...She was breathing heavily and sweat formed on her face...She panted loudly...

"Whaa...what are you doing?... Leave...mee.."

Janvi yelled loudly...She tried to protest but I was very strong and in the nanosecond she was placed over my shoulder...I put one hand around Janvi's legs to secure her position as she was wriggling so much...

"Put me down..."

Janvi asked me to put her down...

"I DON'T HAVE WHOLE NIGHT TO DEAL WITH YOU...STOP MOVING NOW.."

I scolded Janvi....After sometime Janvi stopped moving as she had no more energy left...

About half an hour later we reached my wooden house...

I put Janvi on the ground...This sudden impact made Janvi lose her balance...She stumbled a little and then balanced herself...

Janvi looked around and found themselves standing in front of a wooden house...It was the middle of the Jungle...She couldn't see anything before as she was hanging on my shoulder and her head was down...

I went to the door and opened it with keys and then entered without saying anything to Janvi...

I went to the table where I kept some candles...Then I light up the candle to make some view inside the house...

Then I went to the door and saw Janvi was in some deep thoughts...

"ARE YOU GONNA STAND THERE UNTIL WILD ANIMALS MAKE YOU THEIR MEAL?"

I rudely asked Janvi from the house door as I was waiting for her to enter...I was waiting for her for the last few minutes but she was in deep thoughts to notice that...

Janvi gulped her saliva and started to take baby steps towards the door...All the time my gaze was at her...

Janvi finally entered the house and looked around...

I banged the house door loudly behind Janvi which made her startled...

I went to turn on the generator as it was the only source of power in this house... Before I could do my job I heard Janvi's panicked voice...I hurriedly went to her...

"Arjuuun..."

She called out...Her voice was shaking...

"Where are you?"

Janvi asked again and started to move in some direction...After taking a few steps she banged with corner table and lost her balance...Janvi shrieked and closed her eyes and waited for the impact... Before she could fall on the floor I slid my hand around her midriff and pulled her backward...Janvi's back was pressed against my  hard chest...After sometime she relaxed...

"YOU CAN'T STAY AWAY FROM ME FOR SINGLE MOMENT.... AREN'T YOU?"

I asked in a husky voice...I was standing so close that my breath was hitting Janvi's ear... Janvi's started to move away from me...But I instantly pulled her back and held her tightly...The hold was firm but not painful...She is so soft like flowers...She smells damn good...

"IT HAS NOTHING TO BE EMBARRASSED, WIFEY...YOU CAN ADMIT THAT...NO ONE CAN RESIST MY CHARM.."

I chuckled lightly and by the other hand I moved Janvi's hair to one side of her shoulder...Now my  breath was fanning Janvi's neck and ear...

Janvi couldn't say anything nor do...She was frozen...I can feel the effect of my proximity to her...She was breathing heavily... Suddenly, her stomach made a weird sound...

"YOU ARE HUNGRY"

Janvi was confused...My hand was on her stomach and I felt her tummy rumbled...She must have skipped her lunch....Now it's almost 8pm...She is so careless about her health...

"YOU ARE HUNGRY FOR FOOD OR ME?"

I thought to tease her a little....I whispered into Janvi's ear and my lips brushed her ear lightly which made Janvi tremble...After some time she understood the double meaning...She shockingly turned to look at me...Our eyes meet for a few seconds...

I smirked at her then removed the hold from Janvi and held her wrist and took her towards the sofa...Then made her sit on sofa which she didn't see in the dark...

"WAIT HERE...I'M COMING IN FEW MINUTES...I WILL BE NEARBY...DON'T BE SCEARD..."

I assured her and went to turn on the generator...Then I returned back to her...She was looking around the small drawing room...Now the full house is lightning...It doesn't have much furniture....There is one sofa where two people can sit and in front of the sofa there is a fire place... Night in the mountains is very cold...

There are a few more things like a mini table,lamp, wardrobe...

"GO TO UPSTAIRS...THERE IS A BEDROOM ON THE LEFT SIDE...GET FRESH...THEN COME TO DOWNSTAIRS..."

Janvi nodded her head and started to take the stairs...

"CLOTHES IN THE CUPBOARD AND OTHER THINGS IN THE DRAWERS..."

She stopped listening to my voice but didn't turn around...Then she went upstairs...I made my way to the kitchen which was beside the drawing room...

Janvi's pov--

I found the bedroom and entered...It was a medium size room with a semi double bed, dressing table,cupboard,one table and two chairs....There is a small balcony...It was dark outside...So,I didn't take any risk to stand there...

I went to the cupboard and opened the door...My mouth made a perfect "O" shape for sure....I couldn't blink my eyes...The half portion of the cupboard was full of sarees and the other half was male clothes....There were different kinds of sarees with matching blouses and skirts...I wondered why he has sarees in his cupboard...

Then I opened one drawer of the cupboard...I grasped...It has inner wear...I took one in my hand to look at the size...It was my size...I thought it maybe co incident... Then check others that  too were my size...All the things looked new and branded...Then I opened another drawer it was full of different brands of sanitary napkins...I closed the drawer immediately...

Why did he have female belongings? Is there any other woman in his life?If he has someone else in his life then why did he marry me?

Many questions were running on my mind...I felt a different kind of pain in my heart...

I took one simple saree and a matching blouse,skirt and also inners....It was a peach colour saree and had golden colour design border...

I went to the bathroom...Everything was kept so neatly...I took a quick shower and wore a blouse and skirt...The blouse fitted me perfectly as it was made for me...I went to the room to wear saree....I wrapped the saree around my waist and set the pallu over my shoulder..It's been difficult for me to make pleats as my right hand got cuts...I took a lot of time but couldn't make it...

"WHAT  MAKING YOU TAKE THIS MUCH TIME?"

Suddenly, Arjun entered the room without any notice which made me startled and the saree fell down on the floor from my hand...I stood dumbstruck...I forgot to close the door...Why do I have to embarrass myself every time?

"YOU DIDN'T EVEN WEAR SAREE YET..."

"I couldn't make the pleats with my injured hand..."

I replied slowly looking at the floor...I felt Arjun's presence in front of me and I looked up and started to take steps back...He held my forearm and stopped my movements...

"STAND STILL.."

Then he took the saree from the floor and started to make pleats like experts...

"TUCK IN..."

I took the pleats from his hand and tucked in...I didn't look up...

"How do you know how to wear saree?"

I couldn't stop myself from asking him how he knows how to wear saree...

"I KNOW MANY MORE THINGS THAT YOU CAN'T EVEN IMAGINE,MY DEAR WIFE"

He was smirking evilly which made me uncomfortable...

Then I remembered about the ladies accessories that he had in his cupboard...Is there any other woman in his life??His girlfriend? Or it could be his other wife...I felt pang in my heart thinking about another woman he has in his life...

"YOU JUST NEED TO ASK ME ABOUT THAT WHAT'S RUNNING ON YOUR TINY BRAIN..."

He was looking at me deeply as he could see my soul...Gathering some courage I thought to ask him about my doubts....

"Those..... things....in the cupboard...."

I started from my sentence but Arjun made me stop...

"IS THERE ANYTHING MISSING THAT YOU NEED? MAKE A NOTE...I WILL ARRANGE THEM..."

"No...Why do you have ladies accessories in your cupboard..?"

I felt pain in my throat thinking about the possibilities...I gulped down my saliva slowly...

"I DON'T WANT MY LADY TO SUFFER WHILE LIVING HERE WITH ME..."

So,he was living here with another woman... Maybe his love of life...Then why did he marry me?

"SO, I HAVE ARRANGED WHICH I THOUGHT SHE NEEDED..."

Arjun replied after a pause...I know he was looking at me but I kept my gaze lower...I felt betrayed..

"I shouldn't have worn her clothes without permission..."

I felt like crying but kept myself strong...Arjun didn't say anything... Maybe he was thinking the same...

"The clothes fit me perfectly as if these were made for me..."

I smiled nervously and unconsciously  started to play with my pallu...

"YES.."

I instantly looked up and met with his deep eyes which were already on me...

"YOU HAVE QUITE SIMILAR BODY STRUCTURE AS HER..."

Arjun was looking at me intensely as if he was trying to read my mind... It's confirmed that he has another woman in his life...I felt so unwanted...My eyes started to tear up and I looked away...I started to walk away from there as I couldn't stand there anymore...

Suddenly,Arjun put his one hand on my lower bare back and pulled me towards him...I collided with his hard chest which made me gasped...He held me tightly against him...I couldn't meet with his gaze...I lowered my eyes and tears escaped from my eyes...I hate it... Arjun held my chin and made me look at him...Then he wiped my tears with his thumb...

"WHY YOU ARE CRYING,SWEETHEART??..."

He loves someone else still calling me sweetheart...He is such a jerk...I hate him for doing these with me...I pushed him and tried to remove his hold... Instead of leaving me, he held me more firmly...

"WOMEN AND THEIR INSECURITIES..."

Arjun took a big breath as if he was trying to keep himself calm...

"NOW DO THE HONOUR...COME TO DOWNSTAIRS AND HAVE DINNER, MY LADY..."

He stressed on the word "My Lady"...He was smirking...He then removed his hand from my back and left from there...

How much hypocrite he is!!...Now he is calling me as "My lady"...

How many ladies does he need in his life?...I felt anger, frustration many more things at  the same time...
