Chapter 27

(REAL SONG RIN'S POV)

"Are you sure about this, Nong?" Joss asked me again as we were driving from Pathaya to Bangkok. He have been asking me for like a dozen times trying to make sure I was really sure with my decision.

After I think it through over and over again I come up with this decision. This is the other way I think I could find my brother.

A week ago when we were about to fly to Korea. The news came to us by our private investigator. A private investigator that Joss brother had sent to investigate on my brother's life for seven years with the family a had grow up with.

He had called and informed us that Nunew ran away from the Park's family, and my mother is now doing anything he can to find him,as there is no lead for us, and even the other side on where he went.

But then we found out about something, someone  that maybe knows where he is, or maybe the one we are sure Nunew would go first if he remembers. And I never expected who it was. The person associated with my brother in the past months.

So now I've got nothing to do but to go to him. To Zee Pruk Wang. The man I never expected to have associated with my brother's life as Song Rin. Zee, my brother's best friend and the one he loves.

Destiny have played a very big part of them. The way they meet again and fall in love with each other over again without knowing he was the real Nunew. How could destiny be doing this to them.

But right now I need to talk to Zee about Nunew's disappearance, if he doesn't know where he was. I need to tell Zee about Nunew before my mother Seo hyung could find him.

"I'm sure of this Phi. This is the only way I think I could save Nunew from my mother. With Zee's help I know I could find Nunew first before her." I said with determination as I looked at him.

"If this is what you want that means you're ready to face your family, right?" He said.

Well, I think the moment I found out that Nunew was still alive was the moment I know I was ready to face my family.

And whatever it takes I would bring him back to where he was supposed to be.

"I'm ready now Phi." I said.

"Then I'll be on your back no matter what happens." He said and smile at me. He never fails to be a great friend and support to me and I can't even figure out how to repay him still.

And here he is again helping me as always.

As they arrived at Bangkok Airport they immediately went out of the terminal. They didn't bring anything so they went out instantly at the airport.

Net immediately called for a taxi to bring them to Zee's place.

All of them are nervous as they are anticipating Zee's reaction. Rin is hoping that Zee would be there and would listen to them and somehow hoping he would believe him.

Net look at Rin intently. He might be doubtful, but there's evidence to prove his identity.

After almost forty minutes of drive, they arrive at Zee's place. Net pay for them before they went out.

When the taxi drove away they all walk to the gate.

Rin looked at the driveway and frown as the place look a bit familiar to him. He sigh and look at Net and Jj as they went first. Net rings the door bell and after a minute a servant goes out of the house and comes forward.

When the servant recognizes Net, she immediately let them in.

"Good afternoon sir Net." The servant greeted as he waid to Jj and Rin. But the servant went speechless when she looked at Rin's face.

Even if Rin wouldn't expect that reaction from her, Rin is not shocked to figure out if someone would know him here.

"Is Zee home?" Net interrupted the servant who was too dumbfounded by Rin. She looks at Net again and Rin back and forth before she answers.

"He's not here Sir. Net. He attended his friend's wedding."she said. When she realized they were just standing at the gate entrance she immediately invited them inside.

Rin looks at the whole place and the big house that looks so well maintained. The whole place looks nostalgic to him. It brings some familiar feelings to him too.

When they went inside Rin couldn't help but praise the interior of the house.

It was not as elegant as what he had lived in Korea but it was the aesthetic color and vibe that made the place so homie.

He suddenly felt emotional looking all over the place.

There's something in the house that really brings so much emotion inside of him.

The servant made them sat on the couch.

"Would you all like something to drink sir?"The servant and Net just told her to get them a juice, before she went away preparing for it.

"I should call Zee." Net suddenly said before he stood up and walked out to call Zee leaving Rin with Jj.

"I think the servant knows you." Jj said to Rin.

"Maybe because she works for Zee so she knows Nunew." Rin said as Jj nodded and look up the staircase.

"This place is big. It's the second to be called a mansion. I heard from Net this house were sold by the Keerati family." He said and Rin got curious.

"Why did they sell this house?" Rin ask.

"Net said this house brings beautiful but painful memories of the family. That's what I only know." Jj said. "Wait here I'll just check on Net if he had contacted his friend Zee already." Then Jj stood up and went to the porch leaving Rin curiously looking all over the place.

When suddenly a vivid memory from his dreams becomes a clear image.

The whole living area was the same as what he had in his dream. Rin was astonished as what was on his dream were the exact replicas of the place.

Except the color of the curtains and the couch cover.

His feet unconsciously led him to walk around the place.

Then his feet lead him to the stairs. He slowly walked upstairs as a heavy emotion started to envelope him. A feeling that something missing from his whole life was now starting to fill in a little by little.

He doesn't understand what is happening but one thing for sure is that he wants to go to that place. If those dreams were not really a dream, could that be his memory?

If that's so. There must be a painting room in this house.

When he finds the door he was looking for, he reaches out to the door knob feeling his hand shaking in anticipation and fear of what he might find. Fear if he was wrong all along.

He slowly turns the knob to open the door and then he pushes it open slowly.

The next thing he saw leaves him shocked and dumbfounded. He was right.

All the rooms were filled with paintings. It was not the same as his dreams but it was more beautiful as all the paintings were placed and decorated at the whole place.

Rin couldn't believe what he had seen. But what got him so dumbstruck was the painting he saw in his dream. The unfinished painting that was made by the one in his dreams, is now placed at the center of the wall.

Then suddenly Song Rin felt a rush of pain from his head. Then he felt a hammering pain hitting his head inside. It's like his brain was crushing apart with the pain. If the pain he felt a while back at Japan was painful.

This time the pain were double and he couldn't hold back but to shout in pain.

ZEE'S POV

I'm here at Gun & Nat's wedding. My friend/business partner Gun who was going to get married to Max's ex boyfriend Nat.

This must be painful to Max but he can't do anything about it. He looked devastated and disheveled sitting beside me while the wedding was starting to take place. Gun was standing on the makeshift altar as we all waited for Nat to arrive.

How can he witness the one he loves getting married. I couldn't even witness his wedding back then with Nunew, that's why I ran away. But seeing him trying to be strong even if he is so broken is not easy to look at.

"Max, you don't have to hurt yourself like this." I said He smile bitterly looking at the front as he was clutching his fist.

"I just want to see him in the happiest days of his life Zee." He said as his voice crack betraying him of what he really felt.

"If you can't take it we would go out of this place together Max. You don't have to be masochist." I said and he nodded.

"Thanks for being here man." He said as he was smiling sadly. I tapped his shoulder giving him courage to go on for another minute.

When Nat arrive everyone look at him as he was slowly walking down the aisle looking soo pretty handsome in his white tuxedo. But instead of happiness, his eyes look so sad and broken.

Then Nat look around and stop his gaze at Max who smile at him. There's an unspoken word lie between the two of them that anyone can see. Then after a minute Nat forcefully look at Gun again who had been watching all along. You don't even know if he would continue or he would change his mind and walk away from the place.

You can see that he looked uncertain of what was going on.

But then Nat continue to walk. Max this time look away.

"I wish I could tell him how sorry I am for giving up on us." He said sadly. Before I could say anything to him my phone rings loudly getting everyone's attention and making Nat stop from walking and look back at me.

I immediately took my phone and said sorry to Nat and everyone who's looking at me before I answer the call.

"Yes?" I answered.

"Zee this is Net." Net said. He looks like he's in a hurry.

"Net what do you want?" I ask as everyone waited for me to put down the call so they can continue the wedding.

God now this is too embarrassing.

"Net I'll talk to you later. I have to put this call now. Sorry." When I put down the call I even hear him shouted on the other side saying something I couldn't understand.

I end the call and look at everyone in apology. Shit why does Net have to call at this time. Then my phone rings again as he calls one more making everyone look at me again.

I was about to turn off my phone when one of the invited guess talk and said that I should answer the call out of here.

"You should answer it Zee. Maybe that's urgent." Max said too. I didn't know what an urgent thing Net wanted to say? Well, if he's here in Thailand now as he can call me, maybe it's really important.

"Net this should be important." As I stood up and answered the call and I slowly went out of my seat unnoticed, but I halted when Net said something that shake my whole world.

"Zee, Nunew is alive!" He shouted at the other side.

Net's words echo's repeatedly in my head.

Fuck what is he talking about?

"Zee are you okay.?" Max asks as he holds my arms.

"Zee are you there. I said Nunew is alive. Shit, bro you should go home now. We are here in the Keerati's house." He said again.

"What are you talking about?" I ask as I couldn't believe what he said. Did he said Nunew is alive?

Is he crazy? I have already gotten over on Nunew's death so why is he saying this now?

"Zee you have to believe me. I found Nunew and he is here with me. Bro it's crazy to say this, but shit bro he got the pair of the necklace you customized for him for his birthday 7 years ago." He said. My whole world stops.

"You're kidding me Net. Did you just say Nunew is alive?" I half shouted at Net feeling my anger. How can he be disrespecting the dead person. Nunew is in peace so why is he doing this to me now?

"Nunew can't be alive, Net. He's dead." As I argue with him. Why did I even answer his call?

Max who heard me stand now getting everyone's attention again as he shouted asking me.

"What did you say Zee. Nunew is alive?" I didn't answer Max, and just listen to Net as he continue.

"If you don't believe me Zee. Then you should come home immediately to see for yourself."he said. I am now contemplating if I would believe him or not. If he is joking this isn't funny at all.

"If you're joking Net. Stop it." I said. Now I didn't even notice when Gun, the groom was in front of me holding up his anger.

"Zee I invited you here, not to ruin my wedding. If you may please-" Gun said but then Nat came and cut off Gun as he look at me.

"Did you say Nunew is alive, Zee?" Nat ask looking at me.

"Nat? Why are you asking?" Gun stare at Nat wondering what was wrong, but Nat didn't answer him instead he waited for me to answer him while my phone was still on my ear.

"God.. what was that?" I frown as I heard Net ask someone on the other side.

"It's Song Rin." Jj said and that makes me more confused. Did I hear it right? Did Net's boyfriend Jj say Song Rin.

Is he the Song Rin that I know? Is he with them?

Is he the one Net said Nunew. Did they mistake Song Rin as Nunew? As I did back then? Then that might be the explaination why he said Nunew is alive.

I went shocked and panic when the next thing I heard is an agonizing shout and cries of Song Rin.

"Net what is happening?" I ask but the call had stop. Now I'm feeling worried about what is happening in there. Hearing them said his name makes me want to run to him and make sure his okay. I don't even care about someones wedding right now.

I immediately walked out of the wedding event without saying sorry or goodbye to Gun and Nat, but before I could walk away further. Someone grab me and it was Max.

"Zee you have to answer me. Is what I heard right. Is Nunew alive?" He ask me looking now more helpless.

"I don't know how to explain Max but I have to go now. Something happened at the Keerati house." I said as I try to walk back but this time Nat block and stand in front of me.

"You have to answer that question now Zee. Is what we heard right?" Nat ask again.

Everyone was now wondering on what was happening in front of them. I am now really ruining a wedding ceremony.

"I -" I tried to reply to him but my phone rings again and I immediately answer this time putting it on speaker.

"Zee we need you here..."Net said

"Rin are you okay..?" as we heard Jj ask on the other side.

"Aaaahhhhh.. My mom and dad where are they." This time I hear Song Rin's voice crying in the background.

"Grandpa Pen..aahh. No " my eyes bulge in surprise of who he mentioned.

But the last thing he said crumbled all my reasonings.

"HIA ZEE.. ohh God Hia where is he Phi Net?.." As he cried in despair. My body shudders as reality hits me so bad. Nunew is alive.

I immediately run to where my car is ignoring Max and Nat's call. I don't know how to say sorry for ruining someone else's wedding, but the most important thing right now is to go back home. I need to go back immediately now. I need to go home.

To where Nunew is. Nunew.. My Nunu is alive?

How?

"Zee.  Wait a moment bro. Let me come with you." Max stopped me from going into my car and I nodded. But then a was shock when Nat stop me again.

"Phi Zee. I want to go with you too." Nat said.

"You're wedding?" I ask him in shock. Is he running away from his wedding.

"That wedding is not important. I just realized my biological father only care for me because I have a use for him. Now I'm cutting this wedding off, and I'll cut ties to him too." He said.

Now I almost forgot that he was on his wedding not because Gun is his boyfriend and he loves him. He had really agree on it to please his biological father who came to him 4 years ago. Because he had wanted to merge his business to Gun's family.

Now he realized to himself that he doesn't really wanted this marriage just to please his father anymore.

"Nat-"Max try to say but Nat cut him off.

"Shut up Max I don't need your opinion. I'm not running away this wedding because of you. I need to see Nunew." He said and Max look away embarrassed.

And they went inside his car driving back to Bangkok.

"Should we go to the house today after this?" Chai as as he watch his wife putting the flower on their sons grave.

"Yeah, maybe we should. I want to see his art room. I missed that place." Pat replied as he wipe the dust in the marble grave.

"Yeah me to. I miss to see his beautiful paintings."Chai said

"I notice Zee rarely putting his flowers. I guess his now moving completely." Chai says. Pat stops wiping and look up to his husband.

"That person be better than our son." As she said in serious. If their son can't be with Zee who's love deserves to be reciprocated at least he should deserve someone better for him.

"Ohh Pat, hon. Zee could choose someone he loves, and we're not part of that. We can't be the one choosing it for him if we see the one he chooses doesn't fit our criteria. That's his life and what he chooses to do." Chai said and Pat pouted looking back at his son's grave.

"You know the thing that would make our Nunew happy is to see Zee be happy in this lifetime and that's what I just wanted hon." Pat replied.

"And that's what's important. Zee is happy then so as our son." Chai says patting his wife's back. She sigh and say her last pray and goodbye for their son and promise to comeback again.

After a minute they are now riding the way to their old house. The Keerati's house, just to visit Zee and see their sons art room that Zee turn to like a small museum.

They also wanted to know and confirm for themselves if he had really move on now. Cuz if soo they would be happy to hear it for sure.

It's been a long time for Zee. He also deserve to be happy.

"Mr. Kim we've confirm his location. He really visited the Keerati's house along with some others that we couldn't recognize." One of the Park's personal men calls Kim Bomjong, Seo hyung's most trusted person.

"Then get him at all cost and bring him here." He instructed.

"I'll inform Ms. Park about this immediately, and so keep me updated." He continue before he put down the call.

His men who has been keeping an eye at the Keerati's house is in front of the Keerati's gate..

Five of them went out of the van and approach the gate and ring it.  When one of the servant open it they smile friendly but the next thing they did wasn't expected by servant who was knock on the ground when one of them hit her in the head.

"Let's go men. There's no time to waste here. Mr. Park Song Rin should go back to Korea at all costs."

"YES." The four men said in unison.

They got to take him back no matter what happens. Even if they use force to do that.

SEO HYUNG'S POV

It's been 1 week and five days since my son  disappear and there's still no update about him.

I am getting anxious as every passing days. I feel like in no time now he be gone to me forever and can't do that. I need to find him as soon as possible and take him somewhere as far away as I could.

But I'm very disappointed that my men can't still find him

Someone knock the door then Bomjong came in a hurry. Now I am hoping that he would give me a good news.

"They found him already Ms. Park. He just arrived at the Keerati's with the other two people." What he said makes me ecstatic and happy. I couldn't contain the happiness I felt.

"If that's the case. Let's go to him." I said and stood up from the couch I'm sitting in. We were here at one of the hotel in Bangkok. Hoping if we could see him here my man can immediately get him.

"If they get him immediately they would take 20 minutes to arrive here Ms. Park. We just have to wait for them to take him back here." Bomjong said.But that got me anxious. What if they fail to take him.

"What about Zee is he with that man?" I ask

"He's not on the Keerati house so they'll not gonna see each other. Don't worry about him Ms. Park he's still at Chang Mai. It would take him thirty minutes to go back to his house. Before he arrived we could already take him back to Korea." He said assuring me.

"No I'm not gonna wait. I'll be anxious to do that. Let's go and meet them halfway."I said before Bomjong nodded and went along with me.

"Are you sure you want to go there Ms. Park?" He asked and I said yes.

"I wanted to be so sure that they can take my son back without a problem." I asked as I walked out of the hotel room while he followed after me.

"They're skilled on this Ms. Park. You don't have to worry." He said but I can't just be sure about that.

"You can't be so sure about that Bomjong. Anything could go wrong in a matter of time." I said as he bow in apology.

Just like I always do. I need to take the matters into my hand so I can succeed.

The next thing that happened wasn't what Net and Jj expected. Jj hit from the head and went down unconsciously on the floor. While Net was bleeding profusely as one man shot him in his chest and went down on the ground losing his consciousness.

Nunew in a horror couldn't do anything as he try to struggle to let go.

"Let me go.. what did you all do to them.. ahhh. Phi Net wake up.."as he shouted and struggle trying all his might to be free from the two big men's hand as they are dragging him out of the place and put him at the of the car while the two men still holding him tightly.

"No..! let me go. What did you do to them... Why did you shoot him." As he try all his might to be out from their grasp but they are to strong for him.

"Mr. Park Song Rin. Don't struggle on us. Come with us peacefully." One of the men said but Nunew couldn't contain his anger and kick the man angrily.

"You want me come peacefully with you?. NO! I WON'T DO THAT.. You bastard you shot my friend and you want me to come peacefully. Go to hell.."

Net and Jj was their. What would he do now. If they end up dead because of him. He won't forgive himself.

He can't just give up. He has to do something.

He looks at their house as the van drove away from the place. Nunew tries to hold back his emotions as one person would die there because of him.

He can't hold back anymore as his tears fall rapidly. The place where he grow up. The place where his family lived.

Is this the last time he would see this place again? His family? But he wants to see them again. More importantly.

And Zee..

His Hia Zee.

He needs to know he's back.

He can't just disappear again. He is back to where he should belong and he can't disappear once more and leave them again.

No that can't be. He won't give up just like that without a fight. He had been a taekwondo back then when he was in high school. He might not be using it for long at least he can kick right? He has to try.

He looked at all the five men on the van.  He had no fight against them, but one thing for sure if they are the men of Song Rin's mother that must mean they wouldn't hurt him at all costs.

He look at the man on his side who's holding him.

He observe them all. Two men sitting on the front one each on his side and one at the back.

He noticed the other guy on his left side still holding his gun. And some others was put away.

When he realized the guy on his right was now loosening his grip and that's the thing he had waited.

With all his might he pull his hand faster and kick  him on the head making him lose balance and hit his head on the window.

The one on the back tries to hold him but it was to late as he stood up and kick him to.

The man on the left couldn't react faster as he was pointing his gun at him but the two men on the front shouted to warn the guy.

"Don't you hurt him if you don't want to die." The driver shouted. That's what he expected.

The car stops and thats the thing he needed. The man holding the gun try to warn him but he grin and kick his hand that's holding the gun as the gun thrown on the floor.  He went instantly to the floor and pick up the gun then pointed it to the man as he was leaning on the driver's seat.

The man who owns the gun try to move forward but he shoots him in his arm making him groan on pain as everyone was shock of what hedid.

Well, it be either his life or theirs.

One of the guys in the front tried to hold him to but then he pull again the trigger hitting the window for a warning that they should not come close to him and everyone halted.

"Shit.. if we won't use force we would die here." The man said.

"No! No one should hurt him. That's the boss said."the driver said again.

"But.. he would run away from here." The other one said.

"OPEN THE DOOR! Or we're all gonna die here." Nunew said moving the gun to everyone preventing them to move as he won't hesitate to shoot again if they somehow make a move.

Nunew heard the door unlock. He carefully pulls the door while his eyes never leave them as he still aiming his gun to them.

"Don't you dare move." As he notice one of them try to move but halted immediately.

When he successfully opened the door he immediately ran away from them as he was still holding the gun.

Nunew wanted to find for help but the place they had stop is a bit isolated and less car are passing by. Maybe his luck was out as no car had pass by since he went out of that van and the men are now running after him.

Then Nunew's hope rose when he saw a car was approaching on his way.

God whatever happens he needs to make it stop he can't be caught by them again.

Nunew abruptly stops in the middle of the road and tries to stop the car.

When the car stops the passenger and the driver went out, but Nunew immediately stepped back when he saw the passenger and the driver came out.
