Chapter 14

KOREA

It was seven in the evening when Zee and Tutor arrive at Seoul international airport.

It's quite a long tiring flight and all they wanted to do is to rest immediately.

Tutor zipped up his coat as he feels cold by the sudden change of weather while Zee had already cover himself before the plane landed as he already expected the cold weather of Korea.

Zee was the one who was holding and pushing their luggage trolley to the arrival area. When they're out of the terminal Tutor look around to look for their friend who were going to pick them up.

"Over here Zee Pruk, Tutor." Someone called them and they saw their Thai business friend Joong waving his hand as he was accompanied by his secretary. He lives in Korea and had a growing textile business in there. He was also the reason why they met those new investors they are trying to win over again.

They both walk towards Joong as the man smile from ear to ear.

"Good evening Mr. Archen." Zee extended his hand as he immediately greeted Joong who crunches his face with the word he uses to greet him.

"We've been business friends for 4 years Zee, but you always forgot to stop addressing me in a too formal way." Joong pouted but still held Zee's hand for a handshake.

"I'm sorry I tend to forget." Zee apologizes and Joong smile.

"I'm just kidding Zee. You can call me what you want, but Joong is better for me." Joong says then he smile and also greeted Tutor with a handshake.

"Glad you could come with your big brother Tutor.

"Thank you Phi." Tutor replied.

"By the way." Joong turns around and looks at his secretary.  "This is my secretary, not that new. He's been with me for a year now. You just both see him now as it's been long since you came back from Korea. His Dunk Natachai." Joong introduced his secretary.

"Hello Mr. Zee Wang and Mr. Tutor Wang nice to meet the both of you. Welcome to Korea." Dunk smile and greet them formally before he wai on Zee and Tutor

"It's nice to meet you too." Tutor said while Zee only wai back and smile.

"As I have told you Zee. We've already rented a condo apartment near the Park's company. " Joong said.

"Thank you so much for helping us Joong. We owed you on this." Zee said

"No worries Zee. You've help me many times when I was in Thailand too. That's not even a big thing." Joong replied patting Zee's back.

"Let's go. Will take you both there." Zee and Tutor nodded in agreement as they now feel the tiredness from the long flight.

They all walk out of the airport and went to Joong's car. They put their luggage to the trunk before they went inside.

Zee and Tutor sat on the back seat while Joong sat on the passenger side as his secretary was the one who's driving. Then they went to the condo apartment Joong had rented for them for a week or two.

After 30 thirty minutes of drive they arrive at a subdivision. It's a two story building that has a good ambiance outside.

They all went out and Zee and Tutor take out their luggage and bags while Joong and his secretary Dunk help on carrying their other things.

Dunk guide them to their room. Their room were on the third condo apartment of the second floor. Dunk take out the keys from his pocket and open the door. He then give the keys immediately to Zee.

They went inside and turned the lights on. Tutor's eyes roam around the whole room. It's simple but big enough for both of them. There are two rooms and a spacious living room. A kitchen has some appliances on. And a shower room that's on the right side of the kitchen.

The apartment already has things they both needed.

"Thank you soo much Joong." Zee thanking Joong.

"You're welcome Zee. You both are tired for sure. We'll be going now. Call me when you need anything." Joong said smiling at Zee as he patted his shoulder.

"Yes, we will." Zee said. Then Joong and his secretary Dunk went on their way.

"I'm gonna rest first Phi." Tutor said as he immediately goes to one of the rooms not waiting for Zee's reply.

Zee only shakes his head. He already knows how tired his brother is and so does he.  Zee pushes  Tutor's luggage and goes inside Tutor's room. He saw him lying on the bed and sleeping already. He even forget to take off his shoes.

Zee helps his brother take off his shoes before he covers him with a blanket and turns on the heater, then he goes out of the room and drags his own luggage to the other room.

He went to the bed and lay in there instantly as tiredness also creep on him. They would surely need something for jetlagged.

Before Zee closes his eyes he take out the necklace from his neck that's been hidden on his shirt.

It's the necklace he give to Nunew. The necklace that he also take from him the night they parted ways. The day he last saw him.

The necklace he had made just for him. The necklace that he had been holding for many years reminding him of all the beautiful memories he had with his Nunew.

He don't even think he would find someone to love again. He doesn't want someone to replace him in his heart , cuz he would never in a million years would think of finding anyone else other than him.

He would only wait for the time they would see each other again.

"I know you're waiting for me in there my Nunu. You should wait patiently as it takes longer for us to see each other again." As he was rubbing Nunew's name that carves on the necklace. He really missed him a lot. If time permits and they would see each other again, he would hug him so tightly and would never let go of him ever again.

As the tiredness slowly creep in him. He closes his eyes and smiles as he imagines the beautiful face of his Nunew.

Song Rin was having a dream. His head turn from left to right as he can't fathom the image in his dream, or was it a nightmare again?

"Aaaahhhh" he shouted, as he saw how it would be the end of that persons life. He can feel what he feel.

The fear, the sadness, the regret, it all come down to him to.

The next thing that he saw makes him scared even more the car was on fire and he can feel that person cry, and slowly closing his eyes as his breath hitches like it's starting to lose his life. What is happening.? It's like his body is going to be envelope with the fire to. He doesn't want to be there anymore. The guy is going to die. He needs to be safe.

No, this can't be. Who is this person? He needs to help him get out from there or that person would die.

He needs to call for help.

"No, no.. please help.. Help us." As he started to shout.

"Song Rin..?" He heard someone call his name from a far. Is it me he was calling?  Is it me?

"Song Rin wake up.. dongseang."

"No.. help him please. He's going to die. He is dying.." He shouted again as he felt himself hopeless from what was happening in front of him.

"Dongseang please wake up.." as he felt someone shaking and pulling him from that awful abyss.

He gasp for air as he wakes up immediately. He sat on his bed look at his surrounding. No one was there.  There's no accident happened. There's no person that's slowly dying in front of him.

Then he felt someone hug him.

"Thank God you're awake." He heard his hyung said. Then he looked at his hyung James who looked scared and worried about him.

He too can still feel the fear. James raise his hand and wipe the tears that escape from his eye.

"Hyung.. I saw it again." He said immediately. James pause before he hug Song Rin again.

"It's alright, that was only a nightmare dongseang. Nothing of that happened." He whispered trying to comfort him.

"He was dying hyung. Why do I see that. It's like he's hunting me in my dreams." Now he cried and sobbed even more.

"What's happening here? " They both look up when they heard their mother talk. He was standing on the door step frowning.  When their mother saw he was crying she immediately walk to his side and hug Song Rin.

"Are you okay my aduel? Is it a nightmare again?" She ask wiping his tears. Song Rin look down on his hand nodding at her still sobbing. His mother hug him tightly again rubbing his back to comfort him while James hold his hand rubbing in circles to help comfort his dongseang.

It takes a minute before Song Rin calm.

He wipe his tears and breath in and out to calm before he look at his family.

"I'm okay now eomma. You should both go back to sleep." Song Rin said to his mother and brother who still look worried of him.

"Are you sure you would be okay dongseang?" James ask.

"I'm sure hyung." As Rin nodded and smile. "Thank you " as his brother smile weakly in response.

"Eomma you need to rest too. You still have to work early." He look at his mom who's too reluctant to left him alone.

"What if your nightmare comes back?" She said.

"I'm sure it will not come back eomma. It only happened once and it wouldn't come back the whole night anymore." He said making her at ease.

"Eomma let's make him rest." James talking to their mother. She sigh deeply and hold Song Rin's hand tightly.

"Fine I'll go, but you should tell us if it comes back again okay.?" She said. Rin nodded agreeing to her.

"Goodnight my aduel." As she kiss his forehead and stand to go out from the room. They both look back and Rin wave at them smiling, assuring he was really fine now.

When they're out Song Rin lay in his bed again and stare at his ceiling thinking about the awful dream he just had. He was in deep thoughts. How can something so unfamiliar feel too familiar to him. It's like he was really there. Like he had experience it first but he knows he doesn't.

He was hoping he could find the answer to these confusing things that were happening to him.

If this continues Song Rin knows they might force him to go to a psychiatrist again just like the first time it happens to him.

It really helps stops the nightmare but he doesn't like the idea of it. It seems like they were treating him like a crazy person, and he doesn't like to experience it again. The process of forgetting it is painful to him.

Now he doesn't know why it triggered to come back again. He hoped in time it would stop on its own.

ZEE'S POV

It's been 5 days since we were in Korea, and today we had successfully get the investment that we needed.

These things have been a tough job for us. The Korean inventors are to hard to persuade. They were right to think that someone had sabotaged their supposed to be mutual understanding. Thank heavens they made everything planned, and so the investor they needed agreed and now they had signed the agreement.

Their next meeting would take place in their fathers company about three weeks from now. Everything is going in their plans and there's nothing to worry anymore.

Now they would be going home early. Tutor had already booked their ticket for tomorrow. All he have to do now is to find something to gift for his Nunew.

Something that I know even if he can't hold it, I know he would love it.

Tutor had already gone back to our apartment, and I was here out to find something for Nunew.

I don't know what it would be but I'll find something for sure.

The winter of Seoul has ended months ago but the cold weather is still there.

I was going to walk inside a shop when my phone rings. I immediately take it and answer it.

"Phi can you come to me right now?" Tutor immediately said as I answered the phone.

"Is there something happened?" I ask

"I little bit." He said. I'm sure he's scratching his head right in the moment.

"Okay. What is it nong?" I ask again.

"I'm at the hospital right now." He said that makes me feel panic.

"What happened nong Tutor?" I ask panicking inside. I can't bear to think that something happened to him.

"It's nothing serious Phi. I'll explain to you when you come here." He said

"Are you sure nong?" I ask again couldn't comprehend if I would really believe his okay.

"Yes, I'm sure phi."

"Okay I'll be there right away. Which hospital are you?" I ask the exact hospital he was in.

"Wait I'll text you the address." He said before he cut off the call.

I waited for only a minute before I received a message from him.

I immediately went to find a taxi and go to the hospital where my brother's at.

SONG RIN'S POV

"Here is your prescription. Drink this when the pain comes back again." My doctor said as he handed me the prescribed medicine for my headache.

"Thank you Dr. Choi." As I stand and bow to her.

"You're welcome Song Rin, just don't forget to inform your mom about this." She said smiling at me.

"I'll tell her for sure. You know I don't want her to worry about me, Dr. Choi." as I smile weakly thinking about how my mom would be worrying about me again.

"I'll be going now Dr. Choi." I said lastly

"Have a good day Song Rin- ssi." She said and I nodded in response. I walked out of her clinic and went straight to the exit.

When I was outside I breathed in so deeply. It would be a lot of explaining for me to do if I'll be telling my mother about this again, cuz if I won't tell her Doctor Choi would be doing it for me.

That doctor is too loyal to her and I can't even hide anything if it's about my health. She would tell her everything even if it's a mild thing. I remember when I almost burned my hand when I was preparing a coffee for my customer even if it's small she had instantly told her about it. When my mom finds out she almost decided to close my shop, thank God I persuade her to not close it.

Now this thing happened, I can't really escape from this, Can't I?

As my head aches are getting really worse in each passing day I really decided to visit our doctor.

I went to the hospital not realizing it's already afternoon. Thank God I decided to close the shop today.

I continued to walk at the sidewalk and went to the nearest pharmacy store and bought a medicine and water. After I finished I went outside and found a nearby bench and sat on it as I felt my head aches again. Why does it aches like this? I don't have any idea.

I feel my world spin and a shouting echoes passing through my head. A car sound honking so loud in the background and loud crashing of metal plates  together is heard causing a deafening sound making me cover my ears. I stayed like that for a minute before someone held my hand trying to take it off my ears, but I hold it more tightly not wanting to take it off as I could still hear the deafening sound. Then I feel someone hug me tightly.

"It's okay Rin, it's okay." I heard someone say. Then he pulled from the hug and cup my face, as I looked him in the eyes.

Then I realize it was my hyung James.

He immediately wipe the tears that I didn't notice escape in my eyes.

"It's going to be okay dongseang. Everything is going to be okay." He said trying to smile but you can see worry on it.

He looked on each side of the bench and found my medicine and the water. He immediately gave me one medicine and put it in my mouth as he handed me the water. I take the water even if my hands are shaking as I drink slowly before I swallow the medicine.

He pulled the water from my hand  and put it on his side then he guided my head to lean on his shoulder and massage my temple. My breath slowly went back to normal as I felt comfortable with what he was doing.

"Are you feeling better Rin?" as he asked and called my name. I smile and slowly nod my head. It's funny how he called my name feels more comforting than he always called me dongseang.

"Thank you so much for always being here with me hyung." I said while he was still massaging my head.

"You're welcome dongseang. Thank you too, for always trusting me first and calling me when you need me."He said.

"Of course hyungnim. Because you're my big brother and the most trustworthy person in the world" I said.

Yes, I did call him when I was at the hospital and informed him why I was there.

I never thought he would immediately come and now help me with this.

"When does this headache come back?" He asked after a minute of silence. I took my head off of his shoulder slowly and looked at him.

"Just recently." I said and looked away and stare at the busy highway of Seoul.

"Did doctor Choi prescribed you this medicine." as he looked at the medicine on his hand.

"Yeah she did." I heard him sigh, and I looked at him immediately.   "Is there a problem?" I asked him as the pain in my head started to subside.

"Nothing dongseang. I'm just worried about you." He  said. Before I could talk again his phone ring. He took it from his pocket and answer it.

"Where are you James?." We both heard our mothers angry voice. I look at James in a worry.

"There's something important that came up eomma."  My brother said making me frown. Why didn't he tell her the truth?

"You ditched your date because of that something important? Are you kidding me?" I heard her said. Seems like she's really angry.

"I'm sorry eomma. Don't worry I'll be going back in the company in an hour." He said.

"No, make it thirty minutes. I want you here in thirty minutes James. I'm gonna talk some sense to you." She said angrily before we heard her hanging up.

"You should have told her that I'm the one you're here for." I immediately said when the call ended.

"That's not necessary dongseang." He said before he sighed and stood. He extended his hand to help me stand. "I'll take you home, come on." He said.

"No hyungnim. You should go back to the company now. Mom would be more angry if you would take too long to come back." I said not taking his hand.

"But dongseang you're still not fine." He said looking so worried about me.

"Don't worry hyung. I'll call Yim to take me back home." I said assuring him. He looked down at me and couldn't make a decision if he was gonna stay or go.

"The pain had subsided already hyung. I don't feel the pain anymore. Please, I'll be worried about what eomma would do to you if you take longer." I said making him look away and sigh deeply.

"Fine, but please call Yim immediately, then I'll call you after an hour to check on you, okay?" He said finally making a decision to go. I nodded instantly and smiled at him.

"Take care of yourself dongseang." As he ruffled my hair before he walked back to his car that was parked not far from the bench where I was sitting.

He looked at me with worry again. I smiled at him trying to assure him that I was really fine now. He smiled and waved goodbye before he went away.

I took my phone out of my pocket and dialed Yim's number.

"Yeoboseo, my pretty best friend Song Rin." Yim said as he immediately answered the phone.

"Hello Yim. Are you busy?" I ask first as I don't want to disturb him if he has something more to do.

"No. I'm just reviewing a new scene for the upcoming act. Why?" He ask.

"Can you take me back home?" I instantly said.

"Yeah sure. Where are you right now?" He ask

"At Seoul National University Hospital." I said and I heard Yim gasp.

"What! What happened to you?" He immediately asked sound so panic. I smile as I feel his really genuine concern towards me. He's really a great friend that I had.

"Yim don't panic. It's just a headache." I said assuring him.

"Are you okay now? I'll be going there immediately." He said.

"I'm fine. You can take your time. I'll just wait for you here." I said.

"Okay, Wait for me there. Bye!" He said lastly before he cut off the call.

I look at my phone and smile.  How can I be so lucky to have a brother and a friend like this.

"Thank God that's only a sprained ankle Nong, and nothing serious." Zee sighs as he looks at his brother limping from the pain.

"That's embarrassing Phi. They thought I was really hit by their car." Tutor said looking down on his feet.

Tutor told Zee everything what happened.

He was just walking back to the apartment when he didn't realize a deep pavement was in his way, and just as he was down to the ground by the sudden pain he felt, the car almost hit him stop immediately and thought they hit him so they take him to the hospital. They didn't even understand each other as the guy was an old man and woman, and they are  native Korean. So even if Tutor explained that they weren't at fault the man couldn't comprehend what he said not until they were in the hospital and he told the doctor about what happened.

The doctors and nurses were the one who told the old couple what really happened. Though they weren't at fault they still apologize to Tutor and even pay for the hospital bill.

"You should be thankful that nothing really bad happened to you. You made me worried so much nong." I said as I tried to help him but he shook his head declining my help.

"It's just a sprained ankle phi you don't have to treat me like I lost a leg already. And yeah, I'm really thankful nothing serious happened." He said walking while limping.  "Helping me feels like I'm so weak, like I still can walk on my own you know." Tutor said not wanting to break his ego.

Zee sighs and lets his brother walk on his own.  When they're out of the hospital Zee look back at his brother who's behind him still trying to be strong and independent.

He looked up at the big hospital they were in.

'Seoul National University Hospital'   as he read the hospital's name on his head.

Song Rin was waiting for Yim to arrive. His phone suddenly rang as he received a text from Yim and he read it.

'wait for me in a cafe beside the SNU hospital. The director call me for a talk. Wait for me in 30 minutes. If this old man would take long to talk to me I'll walk out of him. I promise I'll get there on time.'

He smiles as he read Yim's message. Song Rin know he would really ditch that director if he really takes too long. Yim maybe talkative but the last person he wanted to talk for long is the director. He hates the man's gut. That's what Song Rin know as he would always gossip the mans bad attitude and rumored affairs with his actors and actresses.

Song Rin sighs before he gathers his medicine and puts it on the pocket of his coat while he take the water bottle and find some trash bin.

He saw a trash bin near the cemented stairs outside of the hospital. He walk there immediately and before he could reach to the bin he was bump with someone taller than him. He was almost thrown out on the pavement as he still feel weak because of his headache awhile ago.

But before he could be thrown out on the pavement the guy was fast on his reflexes and immediately hold his waist preventing him from falling.

He looked up at the guy, and good heaven's help him, he had the most attractive fox eyes he had ever seen in his whole life that it's piercing his soul, like he had known those eyes forever. His heart unexpectedly beats erratically. Song Rin was too confused of what he was feeling at the moment, and to top of that with a stranger he had only seen now.

They were in that position for a minute when Song Rin realized and frown that the guy wasn't even removing his hold from him. Instead he saw the guys confused and shock expression while looking at him. It's like he had seen a ghost.

"Nu..Nu-Nunew..?"

This would be the last update for this month.

I'll be taking a holiday vacation from here guys.  So let's see each other again next year.
