7: nurses office

this chapter uneventful, shit finna start happening soon. I just gotta get it where I needa be.

Ramon POV

"Ramon wake up..."  China said shaking me awake.

"Move bruh." I said turning my head the other way.

"No wake up... you posed to be doing this lady work anyway."

"It ain't due till tonight, ima finish it when I get home I'm tired."

She sucked her teeth. "Come on I'm bored."

"China and Ramon do you guys have something you'd like to share with the class?" The teacher asked. This lady annoying as hell.

"Nahh Ian got nun to say." I said putting my head back down.

"Why aren't you doing your work ? Get up."

"My head hurt." I lied.

"Liar." China mumbled.

"What was that?" the teacher asked her.

"Who me?" She nodded. "Oh nothing."

"Anyways Ramon if you want your free to go to the nurses office."

"Yeah, ima do that. Ima turn in my work before it's due tonight. Can I have a note?"

"Yeah, here you go." She wrote me a note and I left.

"What you doing?" Ramir asked me.

"Nahh, what you doing?"

"Shid... I asked to go to the bathroom and started wandering. I'm on my way back now, I been gone bout 5-10 minutes."

"I told my teacher my head hurt, now I'm posed to be going to the nurse. I'm finna go there now."

"Ite see ya later, you riding with me home?"

"Ion know, depends on who car got the most room."  I said, he nodded, then we went our separate ways.

I went to the nurses office and she gave me a bag of ice, as usual. Could break yo damn arm and the school nurse gone give you ice, tf that's gone do. She said I could stay in here tho, so I'll be spending the rest of the day here for my "headache".

Rayna POV

"Hey. Where Teezy and Ben?" I asked Kade who walked in alone.

"Teezy ain't coming and Ben in the car hot boxing, which means he won't be comin in till second block, if he even come."

"Ohh, why you the only one who ain't in that packed ass math we got."

"Cause this my only advanced class, math aint for me and my only other class a elective."

"So you get out early too? What lunch you on?"

"4th."

"How come I never see you at lunch."

"Do you be looking? Do you even be at lunch?"

"Ohh you right. Anyways, why you always staring at me. You be irritating me sometimes."

"Cause you cute." he shrugged.

"Cuteeee??? I'm more than cute. Nah, I'm joking."

We ended up talking the whole class period and exchanging numbers. Then I went to 2nd block.

"Hey y'all." I said walking up to me, Ari, China, and Myla's table. they all said hey back and we broke into conversation.

"Myla always so quiet." China said as I smiled at my phone texting Kade.

"Cause I never have anything to say."

"What you smiling for." Ari asked hitting my arm and I laughed and playfully waved her off.

"Ramon really left me in first block by myself." China said.

"He skipped? How? He ain't even drive his own car today."

"He didn't skip, he lied and said he had a headache to go sit in the nurses office."

"I bet she only gave him ice. That's all school nurses good for, can't even give mfs no Advil." I shook my head.

"Fr, they so unhelpful." Ari agreed.

"Umm you 4, is there something you'd like to share with the class? Is there a reason your interrupting our lesson." The teacher said and we all looked up.

"you the one who interrupted the lesson, nobody told you stop." I mumbled and Ari hit my arm. "No, I was just saying how my head was hurting." I lied.

"Ohh, your welcome to go to the nurses office."

I turned to the girls and smiled. "Bye, I'll see y'all in 3rd or after school." I said grabbing my booksack and packing up.

"You wrong for leaving us like that." Ari said and I shrugged.

"Y'all gone be straight. Y'all got eachother."

"Just like your brother." China said.

"I guess it's a quad thing , toodles." I got up and went to the nurses office. She gave me some ice and I saw Ramon taking a nap. I took some of the ice and put it down his back, causing him to hop up.

"Man Rayna get the fuck, you always doing sum." he said irritated once he saw me. I laughed then sat beside him.

"Wassup broodie, you already know wtf going on yk big steepa. yk, chasing the bag, getting to money." I said throwing up random symbols. *🤟🏾✌🏾🤏🏾🤏🏾👌🏾*

"Mane Rayna gtf you look dumb." he laughed.

"Slatt, 4k Trey ain't nobody safe. We put guns to the face." I said dragging my index finger under my nose and he shook his head. "Guess what !"

"What."

"I get two hunnit each A-Cajun. Each occasion 2 hunnit." ✌🏾🤏🏾🤏🏾

"What you doing in here?"

"China told me you was in here so I stole your excuse to get out of 2nd block."

"Copy cat."

"boyy... this ain't elementary school."

"want leave campus and go get some lunch?" he asked and I nooded.

"Hell yeaa, let's go." I looked around and the nurse wasn't even in here so we just left and went to my car.

"Hello, welcome to McDonald's can I take your order?"

"One second please." I said turning to Ramir .. "the usual?" I asked and he nooded.

"Can I get 8 hot and spicies, 3 caramel sundaes, 3 vanilla sundaes, and 2 sprites. Make sure you put the nuts in the bag."

"Your total is 22.87 pull up to the first window." I pulled up and payed, we got our food, then went back to school and went to third block.

"Is there a reason you guys showed up in the middle of class." The teacher asked.

"Yeah, we just came from the nurse. You could ask her if you want." I responded and she called the nurse who confirmed we were there.

We sat down at the table and I handed Ramon a caramel sundae and I grabbed me one as well as our burgers.

"Damn, y'all ain't bring us no food?" Ramir said mugging me.

"Can you give me some time. We got everybody something. Myla you want a caramel sundae, a regular one, or a sprite?"

"Caramel." She said and I nodded then asked China who choose a regular one. After that I gave everyone there stuff because I know who wanted what.

"Damn, y'all having a whole feast and Ian get no food." Teezy said walking in the classroom and I handed him the last burger.

"We got you one just incase you was here."

"y'all so clutch, this why you my bestfriend."

Kade FaceTimed me so I put my airpods in and answered. We started talking and the teacher looked up and decided to blast me. "Rayna!! Give me your phone." She said and I started looking around. "Your heard me young lady, what are you looking for."

"I'm looking for who you talking to."

"Principals office NOW." I grabbed my sundae and threw away my burger wrapper.

"Toodles, meet me at my car after school." Ion know why she think I'm going to the office , baby I'm going home. I got a text from the group chat and opened my phone.

Dammit, guess I gotta go to the office by myself.

I sat in the office talking to the secretary the entire day. I didn't get in trouble or nothing, she super coo. Apparently she don't like my 3rd block teacher for some reason, but all I know is she had a lot to say, and I was etsu. When the 4th bell rung I went to my car.

"Ohh here, I almost forgot." Myla said handing Ramir his money. He not bouta take that back.

"Nahh, keep it." He declined. called it, now watch she keep trying.

"No take it, I said I was paying you back and I meant it." this gone last a while.

They started bickering and I intervened. "If he won't take it I would."

"No shut up. You can't have it either." Ramir mugged me.

"Ok my bad damn... ima just go over here and mind my business, I said walking to my car.

"IF YALL RIDING WITH ME COME ON." I announced, I'm finna go eat and take a nap. Ari, Myla, and China hopped in and I dropped everyone off.

I got home and everyone was doing their own thing. I sat at the kitchen counter eating and doing my work,  when I finished I took a shower. When I was done I got dressed and went to sleep.

"RAYNA WAKE YO ASS US YOU AINT FINNA BE SLEEP ALL DAY YOU GOT SCHOOL TOMORROW." My mom yelled and I started mumbling.

"I AINT EVEN SLEPT LONG."

"GIRL YOU BEEN SLEEP FOR 3 HOURS, TIME TO WAKE UP."

"MAMA WE GET OFF EARLY, THREE HOURS IS A SLIGHT NAP. IT AINT EVEN 4 YET I COULD GO ANOTHER HOUR."

"WAKE YO ASS UP AND COME EAT."

"YOU SAID FOOD ?? TUHH SAY LESS." I said hooping up.
