No Chance Of Remarriage: Get Lost Chapter 92
Honey We Are Not Getting Remarried: Get Away From Me!
Chapter 92 Why Wonât You Appeal Gareth walked away without a word.
Will turned to Elisa with a smile. âDo you want to have lunch together?â
âIâm eating with my friends,â Elisa replied coolly.
Rachel stepped out of the building towards them. Her eyes twinkled. âElisa! Youâve never told me you are Iris!â
âIâm sorry.â Elisa said apologetically.
âThereâs no need to apologise! Iâm so glad for you! Iâm under your protection from now on. If I find myself in a lawsuit one day, whoever the opponent is, they will run if they know Iâm your friend! How good is that!â
Elisa smiled. She glanced at Will. âThatâs all for today, Mr. Darcey.â
Will wanted to take Elisa out for a meal but knew that it wasnât a suitable time. He nodded and left.
Rachel was chattering away, rambling about Elisa and Iris being the same person. She was proud of her friend.
As they entered their car, Rachel exclaimed, âI bet Gareth is regretting it now. The woman that he thought was a nobody turned out to be a remarkable person!â
Charli grinned. âItâs his loss to divorce Elisa. But, Iris, if he asked for your hand in marriage again, would you agree to it?â
Elisa looked at her, lost for words for a moment. âDo you think itâs possible?â
âNothing is impossible. He used to look down on you, but now that he knows the real you, who knows, he might fall for you. He might pursue you then. Will you say yes to him?â
Rachel grimaced. âNo way! Let that waste of space regret it for the rest of his life! He bullied Elisa for three years. He better not think of getting near Elisa again. Who does he think he is!â
Elisa smiled. âWho knows, there might be such a day. But I will never agree to him. I want to spend the rest of my life alone.â
âYou shouldnât have such thoughts. You should still get married one day. Find a person who genuinely cares for you.â
Elisa smiled, without any intention of continuing the topic.
At the same time, Gareth and Vincent were in the same car. Vincent was driving while Gareth was in the passenger seat, brooding away.
Vincent stole a glance at him. âWhy did you agree to compensate them? Youâre giving away billions to them.â
Gareth stayed silent.
Vincent couldnât figure out his thoughts.
âWe really should appeal. Iâll do a thorough research this time. I didnât know who I was up against before this, but now that I know, Iâll make sure to prepare everything!â
âThereâs no need to.â Gareth replied coldly.
âYou...â Vincent was speechless.
Gareth had made up his mind if he repeated the same thing twice.
Screech!
Vincent slowed the car to a stop at the side of the road. He faced Gareth, baffled. âWhy wonât you appeal! Are you admitting defeat then?!â
Gareth gritted his teeth, thinking of Elisa speaking without hesitation earlier on.
He had never seen her act like that before. It felt as though they were strangers.
She had been docile for the past three years, but today...
