No Chance Of Remarriage: Get Lost Chapter 7
Honey We Are Not Getting Remarried: Get Away From Me!
Chapter 7 Elisa looked up immediately but did not know what to say. Then, Gareth came to her sullenly and helped her open the door. Julia saw Elisa standing stunned at her spot and gave her a little push. âSilly child, why are you in a daze? Go on and get into the car!â
Elisa sighed softly and smiled. âGrandma, itâs getting late. You should go back into the house. We will be heading home now.â
Once Julia returned to the house, Elisa could walk away and hail a taxi. It seems I have to buy a car as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, Gareth remained petulant and did not speak. One could not help but wonder if Julia could read Elisaâs intention. She chuckled and said, âI will go in once you leave. Quick, get into the car.â Elisa was still a little hesitant, but Gareth had lost all patience and said gruffly, âGet in the car!â Thus, Elisa had no choice but to get into the car. Gareth closed the door and turned to Julia, âYou should return to the house.â Julia frowned and said impatiently, âEnough with the nonsense. Get into the car!â Gareth was rendered speechless. Why does Grandma treat me differently? Arenât I her grandson? Gareth did not say anything. He got into the car and drove away. It was so quiet inside the car that they could hear their breathing sounds. Elisa did not wish to talk to him. Once the car made a turn and went out of Juliaâs view, Elisa said, âStop the car.â Her voice sounded like a command, prompting Gareth to scoff and said, âWhere are you rushing off to? Are you running off to meet another man?â Elisa sneered.
âWhy arenât you stopping the car? Donât tell me you are reluctant to divorce and want to bring me home.â Screech! The car stopped abruptly. Elisa smirked when she saw Gareth red with fury and said before he had a chance to argue, âIf you wish to divorce, do it faster. Otherwise, donât blame me for changing my mind. I will keep pestering you and make sure you canât marry her or divorce me!â After saying that, Elisa reached for the door handle to get out. Click! Gareth suddenly locked the door. Elisa frowned and turned to Gareth. âWhat is the meaning of this?â Gareth snorted coldly. âElisa, what makes you think Grandma will always be on your side?â âAs I thought. You suspect I tattled on you.â Elisa continued to smirk and said, âIt doesnât matter whether I tattled you. Isnât divorce more important to you? Mr. Wickam, can you confirm when you want to register our divorce?â
Gareth glanced at her sharply. âAre you planning to send someone to inform Grandma when we divorce?â âWhat the heck are you thinking?â Elisa was speechless and turned impatient. âIf you keep being afraid, we will never be able to divorce. So, Mr.
Wickam, are you free tomorrow?â Gareth replied coldly, âIâve already told you. My assistant will contact you when I am free! Get out of my car!â Elisa sneered in anger. âYou think I want to be here? Gareth, you will pay for your arrogance one day!â After saying that, she did not spare him another glance and got out of the car. Seeing Gareth being impatient to leave, she scoffed and deliberately neglected to close the door. Then, she walked away leisurely and said, âIâm taking my leave first, Mr. Wickam.â
Gareth gritted his teeth. âElisa!â Elisa smirked and did not bother to look back as she made a turn and left on a pedestrian path.
Two hours later, Gareth arrived at his company. Suddenly, his phone rang. He answered it immediately. âBoss, she has left the hill, and I have followed her to her home. Nothing happened on the way, and she did not meet anyone.â Garethâs expression darkened instantly. His eyes flashed with hatred for Elisa. His anger surged as he recalled how she behaved as if she wanted to have nothing to do with him. âYou donât have to follow her anymore.â The person on the other end was stunned. âYes, sir.â Then, Gareth hung up furiously. He did not wish to hear about Elisa anymore. It would only make him even more annoyed.
