No Chance Of Remarriage: Get Lost Chapter 50
Honey We Are Not Getting Remarried: Get Away From Me!
Chapter 50 As if She Was Her Superior Elisa blinked her eyes and replied, âIâm a little tired today. Letâs talk another day.â
Rachel understood her in a split second and said, âOkay then. Have a good rest. Call me if youâre bored and Iâll accompany you.â
âOkay.â
Both of them hung up on the phone together.
Will took a glance at Elisa. He remained silent on their way to Elisaâs house.
After they arrived, Elisa bade farewell to Will, âThank you for today.â
If it wasnât for Will, her plan wouldnât go on so smoothly.
Will frowned, âThe result was of mutual benefit. You donât have to thank me.â
Elisa smiled, âYou should go to bed earlier too.â
Will smiled dotingly at Elisa, âAre you caring for me?â
Elisa was speechless.
She was just being polite. She smiled and remained silent, then got out of the car.
Will had always been seeking advantage from her. Will knew that Elisa was a lawyer, so he might need a lot of her help in the future. However, Elisa just wanted to stay away from Will.
Elisa couldnât calm her heart down on her way home.
After careful consideration, she finally made the call.
The other party picked up the phone immediately, âMy dear Elisa.â
Elisa was really guilty, âGrandma, you must have known what happened today. Iâm sorry.â
Julia chuckled, âElisa, you donât have to apologize to me. If he hadnât been forcing you and flirted with Linda, you wouldnât have announced your divorce in public.â
âGrandma...â Elisa clenched her phone.
At that moment, Elisa hesitated if she should engage in the following lawsuit.
She felt really sorry for Julia.
Julia used to be so kind to me, but now... Iâm actually hurting her grandson.
Julia sighed softly, âElisa, grandma had told you before. Donât worry about me. Youâre my granddaughter and no longer my granddaughter-in-law. So, do whatever you want and grandma will always support you!â
Tears welled up in Elisaâs eyes. She couldnât help feeling guilty towards Julia.
She pursed her lips and not knowing anything else to say. Julia smiled and added, âYou are a kind person and I know youâre not someone who would commit a murder or crimes. So, grandma will not restrain you. Good girl, just remember to come back often to visit grandma.â
Elisa pursed her lips. Just as she was about to say something, she heard someone talking anxiously. âWhat are you doing? My daughter, you canât force things that was already meant to be!â
Daughter?
Julia didnât have a daughter.
Elisa knew instantly that Garethâs mother, Monica, was the one speaking at the back.
Elisa was curious. Is Monica at grandmotherâs residence?
âElisa.â
Monica was on the phone, so Elisa responded quickly. âYes?â
She didnât want to call Monica her mother-in-law.
Anyway, her mother-in-law had never liked her. Both Gareth and Monica thought that she was a greedy gold-digger.
Besides, Monica always hated and put on a disgusted face when Elisa called her âMomâ. Elisa felt relieved that she didnât have to call Monica âMomâ ever again.
âCome to our old residence now!â Monica was instructing Elisa as if she was Elisaâs superior.
Elisa frowned but agreed to go as she needed to explain everything thoroughly to the Wickam family and apologized to grandmother in person.
Elisa responded, âOkay, Iâll go now.â
Monica hung up the phone directly and completely ignored her.
Elisa pursed her lips. She had been used to Monicaâs ignorant attitude towards her, but she couldnât care less about her now.
She called a taxi and went directly to the Wickam familyâs old resident.
