Yara left and closed the door.

Elisa’s expression darkened. The next moment, she said with a half-smile, “Yes. Thanks to you, I closed the deal. Now, Mr.

Wickam wants me to be in charge of the project. I have to go on a business trip with him to Southdale tomorrow for a week.”

Linda’s expression changed instantly. ‘You’re going on a business trip with him?”

Elisa nodded. “Yes.”

Linda furrowed her brows at once. In a cold voice, she said, “You’re from the marketing department of Benett Corporation. Your job is to discuss partnerships, not to do anything else. By going with Gareth, it’s considered skipping work.”

“So do you not want me to go, Linda?”
