Gareth did not close the door when he came here, so when Elisa arrived, she immediately saw Gareth and Linda intimately close.

Linda was relieved that Elisa was not going to talk about the matter from the banquet. She glanced at Gareth and found him staring sternly at Elisa.

That cheered her up. She thought Gareth was annoyed with Elisa.

Thus, she tugged Gareth’s arm and said worriedly, “Garry, I only have a minor injury, so you don’t have to come here often and delay work. It would make me feel bad.”

Elisa watched how close Gareth and Linda were and smirked.

She quickly let go of Gareth’s arm and did not dare to grab onto him as before.

Just now, she was able to cling to Gareth by pretending to be caught in the heat of the moment. But Elisa’s words forced her to feign realization. Otherwise, it would seem like Linda deliberately held onto Gareth’s arm. She did not want him to suspect her.
