No Chance Of Remarriage: Get Lost Chapter 120
Honey We Are Not Getting Remarried: Get Away From Me!
Chapter 120 Her Wingwoman Elisaâs eyes narrowed slightly at the mention of his name. But Sheena pressed on with a knowing smile. âOkay, letâs have him over, Liz! My treat tonight. Then maybe Iâll end up on tabloid covers with the title âLovesick Woman Drowning Her Sorrowsâ.â
âThis is good, this is good!â Rachel laughed in agreement. âLet the Helm family deal with the mess. They deserve it.â
Sheena had already jumped out her seat in excitement. âIâll go call my parents and cry for a while. Wait for me!â
âLet the drama begin!â
âWatch me go online!â With that, Sheena dialled a phone number and started whining as soon as the call went through.
âAlright, alright. You can stop crying now. I canât possibly let you marry him again with the current attention heâs in now. But never test my patience again!â Mr. Gilio shouted over the line before abruptly hanging up.
Instead of feeling mad, Sheena rejoiced at her fatherâs response. She knew how hard her father had worked hard to deal with the bad press about her.
As to what kind of person Hayden Helm truly is, perhaps only his inner circle knew. But until he was exposed, he would always be known as a good and kind man to the public.
Not that Mr. Gilio minded at all. In fact, all he wanted was for both their families to get along. But a good business relationship was not worth his daughter being used by Hayden and the Helm family for their own glory.
Shortly after, the girls went out for a drink with Carle as planned.
Determined to pair Elisa and Carle up together, Rachel pulled Sheena into the same row as her, leaving the other two sitting next to each other awkwardly. Picking up her phone, Rachel exclaimed joyfully, âCome on, letâs take a picture! Sheen, pretend youâre depressed and wasted. Liz and Carle, you two clink glasses with her and pretend like youâre comforting her.â
Sheenaâs eyes lit up. âYes, this is a must! Letâs do it. Hurry up!â She set up the phone camera and quickly faked bursting into tears while the other three looked at her distressed. Together, they made a toast and the camera snapped.
Click! Click! Click!
âItâs done! Three burst shots!â Rachel retrieved her phone from the stand, smiling with satisfaction as she glanced at the pictures.
âNot bad! Iâll make an alt account and post these later!â
Sheena let out something of a cackle. âI canât wait to see the Helm familyâs reaction before the wedding.â
But Carle only looked at Sheena with concern. âYou...â
âWhat? Am I in the wrong?â Sheena pursed her lips, clearly unimpressed.
âIsnât this a little too far?â He fidgeted with his fingers. âThe Helm family might retaliate if they find out.â
A frown plastered her face. âItâll be from the anonymous account, not me!â
âLeave it to me,â Elisa interjected, âI know a way to prevent them from tracing our ID.â
âGreat! Then Iâll send the pictures to you now.â Rachel said and immediately got to action.
Carle frowned as he watched Elisa reach for her phone. He subconsciously grabbed her wrist. âLiz.â There was a hint of worry in his eyes, but Elisa just raised her brow questioningly with a smile.
Without a second thought, Rachel took a photo of them and uploaded it to Twitter with the caption âTheyâre such a good match.
Why arenât they together yet?â Her thumb found the âpostâ button and she smiled at her work, before bringing her gaze up to Elisa and Carle. As her friend, it was her duty to push Elisa a little. Ever since her divorce, Elisa had been down in the dumps.
Rachel just couldnât stand seeing her friend mope around in her thoughts anymore.
