Nova didn’t answer but looked at Cassie up and down.

Cassie’s words had implications. Nova didn’t think Kelly would ask Cassie to bring her words.

really does so?”

Cassie’s voice was harsh and desperate. Nova looked at her unemotionally. “Why do you come to me? If

she finds out, she would still make your families suffer.”

Nova fixed her eyes on Cassie, waiting for this girl to continue.

Cassie continued, “I know everything between you and Kelly for the past years. I know what Kelly had

could help me out of the misery.”

Cassie had been Kelly’s confidant for years. This girl was smart and capable. Would Kelly really vent her

anger on Cassie?
